I just got to kaf when you guys went through this. I remember hearing about it and how cpt Moreno who volunteered to go when she didn’t need to. This is actually something I’ve told to many of my friends and kids about.
My medic, Doc G, was asked why some survive while others die, this was after word of our first loss on April 11th, 2004...he said simply because someone has to tell their story...Mr Ryan, brother, you survived to tell their story and you are doing an amazing job with this task!

These videos are the best! I am very thankful to be from the USA and for soldiers like these who sacrificed so much for my safety and others around the world, fighting against great evil. I am also thankful for BRCC and these videos that help remind me of such sacrifices.
I was out there with the task force at that time. It was absolutely gut wrenching to be sitting there listening to the radio calls that night and not being able to do anything about it. One of the worst experiences of my 20 years in uniform.
I can't even imagine, I have nothing but love and respect for you and everyone in uniform I appreciate everything you have all done. God bless you my friend and thank you for your service and sacrifice 🇺🇲❤️🙏
First I need to say I'm really glad I found this and watched this. As combat veteran O.I.F and O.E.F thank you and I'm sorry for your loss brother, it's never been something I was good at dealing with, I've always stuffed it down and or just shut down and became numb. You're an amazing and positive human being. I wish you nothing but happiness and success in all you do, brother.
Thank Mr. Ryan for telling your team and your story God bless you and every troop who has given their all to this day and beyond you all are true examples of what heros are to be!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service. And thank you BRCC for sharing these powerful stories. I am very proud to be an American and drink the best coffee on earth.

That was an inspiring story. My husband was retired military. He would have liked this presentation and your books. I just ordered your three books and will now make a Black Rifle Coffee order.
If only that were still the case. These endless senseless wars that only happen because the rich and powerful want more wealth and power. We should have never been there in the first place. 911 was an inside job by our own government. Our government is the true boogeyman of the world. I have the upmost respect for the men and women that serve and fight for America. But I despise deeply the politicians and super rich men that decide when and where they want to go to fight so the war machine can be fed.
This guy is an absolute bad ass! What a life he has lived, and you can definitely tell his parents raised him to handle anything of difficulty and coming back for more! 🤘🏻
What an amazing journey. You sir have lived ( and continue too) a exceptional life. in a poetically violent and romantic way. Hard to imagine where the hunger for writing comes from, huh. Best of luck Mr. Ryan, and thank you. SF
Luke, I am retired now but I was an Army TBI neurologist at MACH/ Fort Benning from 2009-2020. You look familiar to me. Were you diagnosed with TBI in our clinic or in the VA ? Your story resonates in my mind and heart and of what a privilege it was for me and my team to help heal the scars of combat.
It's possible! Since I escorted Patrick's body back the next day (and wasn't wounded all that bad), I slipped through the medical cracks and checked myself into the hospital at Benning after the escort duties were done. My head was pretty cloudy and my memory of that time sucks, so it's kind of a blur. But totally possible, since I did do that. Either way - thank you for what you do and how you've helped guys as they come home. Our return wouldn't be the same without guys like you putting in the actual work to get us healthy again. Cheers!
