I did know about this feature. What I wished manufacturers would bring back is the dual sun visor feature. My '94 Dodge Intrepid not only had the primary visor, but also another one behind it allowing you to have one visor off to the side and the other down front. It allowed you to keep out the sun without having to change it around all the time. The only othervehicle I saw it on was a Ford Explorer.

I actually did know this but I bet most don’t. My 2011 truck has plastic inserts that pull out instead of the slide feature.
Just checked and my Volkswagen does it.
