  • Watch Me Repair a Front Fender With Crease Damage, How I Repaired It...
Hi thank you for checking out my latest repair video, This time I’m repairing a Suzuki Celerio Front Fender (Wing)
The damage was caused by a stray vehicle door making contact with the panel. This dent had a sharp crease in the centre and it took a while to complete BUT the results speak for themselves
The dent was very tough to repair but with a lot of patience I was able to save the panel from filler and paint...
I hope you can take away some information from this if your a new dent technician or really interested in the job.
If your a potential customer looking for an accountable technician then I hope you are happy with how we operate, you can see our many repairs and this will give you the peace of mind when booking your repair in. We repair many customers vehicles up and down the country, we are in Beverley and we set aside all the time in the world and look after you if you travel to us.
Paintless Dent Removal or PDR is a method of removing minor dings and dents from the vehicle bodywork without the need for filler and paintwork. This is a highly skilled process in which the dent(s) is massaged from the rear of the panel or sometimes from the front using glue pulling methods.

Wow mate...that was a spectacular fix. I was watching the Man Of Steel who has a number of anchor points in the concrete floor. He has a Hustler bar but both of your technologies employ delicate hammering with a multitude of tips etc.
The finger tip control of the back of the panel in conjunction with the light bars reflecting off the panel certainly makes both YOU & The Man Of Steel highly watchable.
My mate thought he could wave his induction hot rod over the dozens of hail damaged dents on his cars bonnet and roof. Your system in the right hands leaves the Hot Rod Wand for dead. But in hindsight him being a GP Doctor he didn't have any more knowledge than holding the coil over the dent...I emplored him to allow me to make a leverage tool...I'm a Toolmaker....to be gently rocked to allow it to pop out. No...the patient and the patience evaporated at the same time.
Where do you get your kit. Is it a panel beater shop supplier. Are there courses in SYDNEY. I should Google that myself. I'm multi skilled anyway. Did a panel beating journeyman course in 1980. Made a perfect VW hubcaps including the indented VW...also a hub cap removing gripper. Round with two hook claws on 2 short lengths.
Some bastrad stole it from the TAFE display cabinet..I wanted to get it chromed..then framed.
For my Dad. I'll go to a mate and get a dinged panel of some sort. Today's cars lend themselves to this type of repair. You have a masterful touch and eye. A great working tutorial.
      Buster

I have been watching hundreds of different PDR videos on YT. So many using tools common on Amazon and Ebay where they keep commenting they are not expecting to perform a 100% repair but indicating they know their customer will still be happy. Then I find PDR videos like yours where tools I did not even know existed are incorporated and the details in the process is amazing. I bet your customers are convinced you must have replaced the whole panel as they look perfect. It is a treat to watch a master craftsman display his skills. Thanks for taking the time to make this videos.

this every day for quite a few years. Thanks Colin, Paul and Mark at advanced Dent Repair for answering the question.
Ok the price mentioned was a very decent price and certainly reflects the expertise of the repair. There’s a lot of thought that a pdr repair is half the price of a conventional repair as it’s quick etc, but if a professional carries out a repair to an exeptional standard meaning no flaws etc, then realistically a pdr repair is worth more than a filler and repaint repair. As the skill which goes into magic’in a dent out, keeping the vehicle totally original and maintaining any warranties is priceless really.
That’s what I think anyway, my price was less and in £, but that’s my customers business.
Thanks for watching and indeed commenting
      Martin

@@dentremover01 This video got flagged again because someone else replied. The reason I queried price was to see how it might compare to a typical bodyshop. You say it was less, but being transparent could lead to a lot more work for you rather than bodyshops. I'm not in need of a repair at the moment but wanted an idea if I did.

Absolutely amazing skills and craftsmanship, I’m a student in vehicle accident repair, going into my level 3 in September and video like are really inspiring. I’m a car man and petrolhead. This is the industry for me. Skills mate, skills. Do you have links for the tools and kits you’re using as I’m about to begin buying my toolset.

Can you tell me labor time wise what went into this? And how long did it take you to learn this skill? also, I take it that when the repair finished the light lines are all straight?

Question: what would/could you do for a dent that has caused paint damage, such as a rock striking the sheet metal? Is there a method you would use to perhaps mix and match up a small amount of paint to add to the area to lessen the look of the paint defect? Great work!

    • @dentremover01
      @dentremover01  2 года назад +2

Hi Tim thanks for your question. Yes we will touch up the damaged paint area if requested
We don’t have all the colours but if a customer was to supply a touch up we’d touch it in for free no problem.
It’s not a perfect finish though but would certainly seal the panel from the elements and take your eye off it
      Thanks Martin

Had bonnet repair done on my Audi A3 by Martin after being struck from part of an engine undershield that was picked up from an oncoming car. Left with a crease that no other local dent remover would be willing to try and would have to be a fill repair & repaint to bonnet. Contacted Martin sending him photos & video of damage for which he was prepared to carry out repair. Spent the morning in the lovely town of Beverley where he is located whilst he did the repair. When finished the bonnet looked like it had never been struck in the first place. Amazing, flawless work carried out by a top & decent gent. Also the cost of repair was a fraction of the price to having a fill & complete bonnet spray that would never have matched perfectly anyway.

The dent wants to go back to factory, just needs a little help doing it. Excellent work! I just saw another video that makes this look like kindergarten.
