What tools would you like to see ICON tools release? If you want to see the new ICON tools and almost every ICON tool they offer check it out here-----> ruclips.net/video/e1xl5HN98sY/видео.html
Yes, a slide top, 6 or 7 drawer cart.
I'd like to see something similar to the socket rail like Matcos with the magnetic plates on each end.
I too would like to see a metal ends dead blow.
A locking flex head would be awesome.
Theres more, just drawin a blank.
Impact swivel sockets
@@tomreed9606 they got them already.
www.harborfreight.com/12-in-sae-impact-swivel-socket-set-14-pc-56731.html
Like to see them make angled head wrenches for hydraulic lines .. all the way to 2 inch
Since they did the S wrenches, I'd like to see half moon(C shape) wrenches.
Sockets:
Stubby, mid, & extra deep.
ICON tool organization:
Triple row socket organizer.
LOCKING flex had ratchets.
I’m sitting here watching all his older icon videos and I refresh my homepage and this pops up. What amazing timing!
Would absolutely love a Icon 8 drawer tool cart with a sliding top like the snap on but at a reasonable price
Love the hood light and the impact wobbles
Hansen makes a 3 row socket tray for 1/4 and 3/8. Way cheaper than the Snap On ones I have. Totally agree on the locking flex heads!
Individual sockets would be really nice.
I second the hood light. The issue with the current Braun light is that it's magnetic. A lot of vehicle hoods today have aluminum, so magnetic is useless in that situation. The Braun does have hooks too, but it's only useful if you are hanging it directly level. It won't clamp snugly and firmly to the vehicle's hood without starting to slip, so maybe they could have a variation that clamps. I'd also like to see an extra-long 1/2"-drive socket wrench, something in the 25"-30" long range, like Snap-on and Matco offer. The longest they have is the 18", but having those extra-long reach ratchets come in very handy. They also need to offer the ICON ratchets with a quick-release option as well. Those who prefer them can have that option to those who don't prefer them.
walmart has a really badass prybar selection (striking cap) made by wylde tools in the USA
36 inch wide 6_7 full drawer tool cart with sliding top, power /impact tool holder,
Pliers, needle nose, locking pliers, cutters, low range torque wrench.
Individual sockets and wrenches. The rest defeats Harbor Freight's claims on pricing.
Commenting on the video for the algorithm
I’d like to see a 3/8 locking flex head ratchet in a 1/4 inch body like the Matco 1/4 ratchet with 3/8 anvil but better
About a month ago I emailed HF about ICON tool carts and a ratcheting screwdriver and they said at the moment there’s nothing in the works for those
I just want to see there tool carts able to close with my 36 inch prybar in it
Hello again Little Brother
Thank you for another Great Video. I believe your on point. That was quite a stance you took today. Good for you!!!
The new studio looks great !!
Thank you brother it is still a work in progress
They should get rid of Quinn, earthquake, Maddox and Doyle and brand all of them ICON. That’s all we need, Pittsburgh and ICON for all their tools
I would like to see them replace the warrior sawzall blades they are not worth a penny I have to throw them away
HF has an anti antishock framing hammer. So, I think a lot of your ideas and hopes, are in the pipeline. I agree with your suggestions too.
I'd like to see ICON produce re-build kits for their ratchets along with a locking flexhead. I'd also like to see ICON sell sockets and wrenches individually. I'll second the hammers, pick set and pry bars.
I would love a low low low profile creeper with off set ball wheels 🤠
I just bought the US gen 5 drawer toolcart a couple days ago. For the money it is really nice. If they offered an Icon version I probably would've bought that instead. For me the best thing they could offer is bigger drawers on their Icon cabinets. As is they waste to much space. Something I would like to see is a good quality portable toolbox. Something you could pack tools in for a breakdown on the road.
Great list brother I think you're right on point! I would like to see some extra deep sockets too!
I love your list. I could really go for impact swivels with built in extension bars, mid length chrome sockets and a nice pic set. On ratchets, I am more of a fan of semi locking flex heads but that's just me. On service sets. I agree with you. Maddox is OK for putz work but for the most part, it's just cheesy compared to the likes of Astro, Lisle, OEM, etc. Ball joint kit adapters that lock in place like Snapon would be totally awesome. That would blow the Astro/OEM variety away as I have only two hands, not three. To add to your list the only things that come off the top of my head is a compact low range 3/8 drive torque wrench that goes from 5 to 40 or so ft/lbs. A nice overlap between their current inch pound and ft/lb torque wrenches. Long pattern flare nut wrenches would be another nice addition. The additional length would be very nice in cramped, awkward situations I frequently run into. Brushless cordless could be a nice upgrade to the brushed Earthquake variety depending on how well they price it compared to Milwaukee. An electronic brake feature like with Earthquake would be a must have. A feature you do not get with a lot of cordless impacts. A deal breaker for me because I absolutely love electronic brakes for snugging fasteners down. I just feather the trigger and boom. I got the fastener where I want it.
Different companies make certain tools better It sucks to have a bunch of different brand for tools but it is what it is the only thing I like from icon is there wrenches as for ratchets I think other companies have them beat...
Dig the TBL face mask. Can I ask where you got it?
I'm a bricklayer how about quality masonry tools
You like apples?
I've been wanting to buy an analog 1/4 " torque wrench with a range of 5-30 in lbs
A bolt out set similar to the older Craftsman or Irwin. Tap and die set's
I've got some ICON stuff I think the chrome sockets are decent not as nice as Snap On or Mac but a decent set, I really like the wrenches especially with no skips. The wrenches feel great in your hand and look good to. I've got a comfort grip 3/8 ratchet and that thing is garbage.
Icon air tools
Icon power tools
Icon socket organizer
Icon plier set
Icon bolt extractor kit (like the bolt biter kit Gearwrench sells)
Icon wheel lug nut extractor kit (because everybody likes giving them wheels more "Ugga Dugga")
Icon brake caliper press tool
Icon Diagnostic tools
Notice... In the US general 5 drawer tool cart, the large ICON screw drivers won't allow the lid to close when you store them on the screw driver holes.... It was disappointing u.u
I have a set of hooks and picks
Looks like they listened to you.
When are you coming back?
I would really like to see some icon pliers. Like a knipex copy, long side cuts, long needle nose, etc
brother, you need to check out mac tools interchangible tipped chisel, i bought one on promo for like 140 or so 6 months ago, used it for the first time last week, f-in love it, and the bits match my snap on chisels all day
Great video! I would love to see bigger roll carts. Even the us general ones. If they were tool truck size with drawers all the way down to the bottom. The 5 drawer cart is nice, but the bottom is such a waste of space and I cant even find anything down there. The rest of my box is really organized but the bottom I just throw hammers and funnels down there and itd be better if they were drawers. Also good picks would be nice and tool truck dead blow ball peen hammers. Locking flex head ratchets. I just bought a matco ratchet the blue one because there aren't any other good ones out there other than gearwrench and you'd have to send that in vs the guy coming to the shop. Basically everything the tool trucks have.
I really appreciate your help and time making these videos I'm really wanting to look and feel the icon wreaches if they are worth buying or keep with craftsman Stanley and kobolt
This is a very impressive list of wants and needs, but the one that really grabbed my attention was the split top tool cart. HF already has a good (not great) flip top in the USG gen2 cart, but an Icon split top, (color matched, not stainless, sorry......I'm not a fan of stainless) would be jaw dropping. I don't really see the need for two flip top carts in HF. At least with a split top, you can leave what you're working on, on top of the cart and open it to get another tool if needed. Did you show some pics of the tools inside your tool box?? If yes, you need some Tub-O-Towels off that Snap On truck. You spent a metric shit ton of money on those tools, keep them clean. I was also just wondering why your TBL flag is upside down in the background.
That isnt a flag it is a face mask and I had just laid it there.
@@RedemptionGarage OK, cool
@@RedemptionGarage Where did you find it?? I'd like to get a few of them.
6pt non slip cross force wrenches. I have been comparing the icon rachets in 3/8 and 1/4 to the pittsburgh pro by using them so far the pittsburgh pro is ahead.
Icon ratchets are 100xs better than the Pittsburg ones
I'd like to see a GOOD ratcheting screwdriver. Snap On is the only good one I've found. I think you did a pretty good job of covering what they need.
I have a gearwrench one that looks exactly like a snap on one except the snap on one actually dosent seem as rugged
I would like ICON to come out with a 3/8 flex head ratchet to replace my recalled one!
Exactly they owe us all a free one if I remember correctly
@@billlee1724 that's what I remember
Selection of hammers and a chisel/ punch set were the first items I was thinking of. I’d like to see a flarenut wrench set. Prybar set was a good idea. I don’t think icon will come out with test kits like the maddox HF Brand.
More full with draw on there toolcart like 7 or 8 an I want to be able to buy draw slides and lockers...
$7000 for all 104 icon hand tools
Sell singles in tools and mid length and stop any and all discounts that money should go for better material and metals.
I'm leery of icon the best way to put in comparison is like Ford with the Edsel wasn't a bad car. Quality wise the only problem besides it was ugly it didn't live up to the hype
I think Harbor Freight should take the Bauer line of cordless tools, improve on the feel and durability of them, and rebrand them as Icon. The red color can help distinguish the tools from other lines they currently sell.
Same with the air tools. If HF is truly going to headhunt the tool truck loyalists, they’re gonna have to offer more heavy duty and durable options in my opinion.
Honestly HF needs to just get Bauer/Hercules/Earthquake/ all on ONE battery. 4 (7 if including 12v) when it should just be 2. It’s simple just program tools and batteries to interchange
😎👍🏻
I wouldn't mess with imitations especially at a place forcing people to purchase their Chinese made PPE to shop inside.
$7000 for all 104 icon hand tools
