@@antoniovasquez9946 The vacuum tubes under the city he uses are not connected to any networks allowing him to communicate and coordinate missions undetected.
Never in the story was he told about the AI's but he had a hunch he was somehow being traced constantly by Team Machine and now Samaritan after the failed assassination attempt on his life. Makes sense he would hone in on some kind of major leak of info when there was no sign of danger and then all of a sudden his enemies b-line for him like they had cheats enabled. He knew something grand and extremely illegal was in play based on the ease of people finding him without having to interact with his crew.

Reason I'm asking is because Dominic I believe in the episode The Devil You know, was saying to his right hand man link that there's always a game within a game. I know he was doing his personal Surveillance of nefarious activities, especially when he said that Reese, Shaw and Root were not law enforcement or criminals. So what I'm asking is did Dominic understood that there was something bigger going on right under their noses but not in the manner Elias understood it?

The Interface of The Machine is Simple efficient you only see the result... But Samaritan shows you the complexity (all the work it is doing) yet humanly readable...

Almost one of the first scenes you see Samaritan's priorities. Someone is clearly running from a business after committing a crime, and Samaritan does not flag that person. The Samaritan AI is not a "good" citizen.

Samaritan is working as intended : Northern Light's goal is to identify "relevant" crimes. While Finch's slow teaching managed it by sending the other crimes to a seperate list, it appears Claypool's organical evolution made them totally ignored from the start?

​@@laplongejuniorIn fact, in deep learning it is possible to do the same thing using transformer networks, you can teach them what is relevant and what is not. That is thanks to their attention mechanisms, of course compared to Samaritan the transformers network are a toaster
