Mike, You do an outstanding job of practical advertising and salesmanship for RK Tractors. Not only should they be giving you the use of these tractors and equipment, but, they should be paying you a salary. Again, great job!
Ya, Hunter. Please eat some chicken for me too. Melissa & Mike you're special parents. Special hosts on your videos. Appreciate your including all of us in on your lives, family and helping us to learn how that we can grow our future also. Praying for your success. Love y'all. ☝💪🚜🙏
Once again another great video from Mike. I have to say that your camera work amazes me. You always have great angles and perspectives. Thanks so much for the continued work and uploads Mike. You have no idea how many hours I spend watching and learning.
Hi Hunter. Enjoy your chicken sandwich. Thanks, Mike. I fit your description of city folk trying to become country. I appreciate your help to get educated on the workings of the tractor.
Thanks Mike! I had a small tractor years earlier, but watching you really teaches me things I have forgotten and many things are new learning for me. Very great full to you. More and more I think RK37 is what I need to get in the future. Kuwait Cal Idaho Dreaming.
Mike, I have a homestead with 18 acres and I do similar things that you have going on. I heat my home with an outdoor wood boiler and firewood is not a burden or a chore for me . It has become one of my favorite things to do! I didnt get my subcompact kubota till 3 years into the homestead but man WHAT a difference it was. I dont have the full trail system yet so I cannot yield as much firewood as I want yet but I am going to rent a medium sized excavator like you did to make trails through each section of property. i plan on doing something similar to what you did a while back. That series gave me the idea so thank you for that! Anyways my point is that tractors and equipment make all the difference! I find uses for my kubota all the time! I even take the trash out with it haha (400ft driveway so Its a haul on foot). Great video as always! Jay
Another great video. I am looking for a 35-40 hp tractor now. The RK 37 is definitely in my final 4. Keep up the good work and informative videos my friend.
Hello Mike, you are lucky with that type of weather, dont forget over here nothing to do with a tractor, over 4 feet of snow and even problems with a sled, snowshoes are the best equipment, LOL. Have a nice day and take care friends Tyrrs.
Thanks for the video Mike. Ive never ran a teactor ever. I need one for projects at the house, food plots for deer hunting and light logging for fire wood. I dont have a clue how to work the ground for food plots or anything. So thanks again
Everyone is posting videos saying spring is here, here in the Sierra Nevada's of California I'm still dealing with Snow and rain all weekend! Please bring Spring here!!
would love to know what gear you use so would know what is the proper gear for the job.. you have done an excellent job of explaining everything about the tractors except the transmissions.. Thanks Mike and once again PLEASE show us the gears you use the transmission!!!!!!!!
a other great video, we cut limb .then i pull as long a lpg as i can . hold with the splitter to cut to length split 4 way stack in gacks later bring in to building near furnace or wood stove . enjoy your videos . god bless
Hi Mike, Really enjoy your videos. When the grass gets to growing again, would you put the belly mower on the RK 24 and show us how it performs. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Another informative video. Rather than turning blade around, I dump the gravel with my loader than back over with blade down thus two operations in one trip.
Mike, One use I get is just the joy of sitting on the tractor and doing something it is kinda a mental release for me. How is Melissa doing in the Crossfit Open? Thanks again for the videos.
Great video. Why not move the clocks ahead 30 minutes and leave them year around. That way it would split the difference on everyone that is for or against.....😊
Thanks Mike appreciate it nearly have enough money for the deposit on my first tractor it will be around the rk 37 size probably be orange as there is no rk dealers here 👍
Hey Mike, You sure can get after it! Do you have a crown on your driveway if so can you show how it's done in a future video? I've learned so much from you, thank you for your videos. Tell Hunter my wife and I said hi! 🚜🚜🚜✌🏻️
Long before the term prepper my father told me. Get a farm and be self sustainable because within the next 30 years you are going to be faced with a collapse. He went on to say these countries can't keep spending more money then they are making and not expect to end up in trouble. This was just about 30 years ago. At the time I had a good job in the city and kind of dismissed what he said. I wish he was alive today to tell him that he was bang on. Recently I left my job and started homesteading/logging with the goal of self reliant. My initiatives can be seen on my channel. Not sure where this is going to end but it must be better then where I was.
Mike, last year when you announced your partnership with RK for some reason I recall you mentioning it was a one year deal....when do you turn the RKs back in and are you impressed enough to buy one of them?
Awesome! Keep up the good work making the best use out of that equipment. You have access to a lot of great tools most folks don’t have. I enjoy watching and plotting and scheming what implements to get next!
Howdy Mike , i see you don't have a quick hitch on the 55 , i really like my quick hitch for when i'm alone . I have a problem , we use the back door to my house and it's a circle driveway but it's low where we graded it ourselves when i moved here to the family farm but it gets muddy and i want to put some rock in this high traffic area , what do you recommend I use ? I think maybe one truck load would fill it in and more , we've had a wet season here in south east N.C. and i'm ready to fix it but i don't know much about different rock and i'd really appreciate your advice
I have one question. Are the back tractor tiers loaded ? I have a Ford 8n with a loader and man is she front end heavy. Thank for your videos. Keep up the great work.
yes , the RK 55 rear tires come filled with something that won't freeze and puncture resistant i think , most all rear tractor tires have water and or some mix so they don't freeze , I don't think they're full just a certain amount in the rear tires , your local tractor dealer should be able to tell you about your tractor tires
I know because I have subscribed to your channel quite a while now that you love running your tractors. The thing I've noticed is that you use one hell of allot of gravel on your driveways and that must get a bit expensive over time. (add fuel costs and your time too) Not to mention that it must be getting a little old to be constantly just a tad OCD on your drive's looks. :-) Would it not be better just to pave your main drive & parking area? It would give you more time to maintain your beautiful woods and keep yourself in mountains of firewood. I'm just curious I guess, why you haven't decided to pave?
Thanks Mike... DST, LEAVE IT ALONE. That's just me. Animals don't need DST, neither do humans! The human biological clock should NOT be messed with, with respect to when to awake & when to sleep. OK, that is my " rant " for the day, now I feel better. Lol... Nice job back blading with the scraper blade. I rarely use mine, I back blade with the 73" bucket now... Where I live, up here in the highlands of N. Central VT., a 4 x 4 tractor, fully chained is an ABSOLUTE MUST. Earlier back in '00 - '01 I tried the '93 F250 with the 8' Fisher Plow trick. It proved to be an " utter failure " in more ways than I can possibly explain here... I maintain a insanely steep 350 ft. d/way along with a 1/2 mi. of class 4 road that gets me to the town maintained class 3 road, then an additional 2/10's of a mi to the mailbox. Most folks up here have a tractor amongst their arsenal of equip. Some folks have older tractors, gas and/or diesel or a combination of both tractors with rear drive only. Typically they run chains nevertheless. I have been wanting a set of forks for many a year now, real handy for bringing out short lengths of trees for processing without dragging them through the dirt. I have a neighbor down below that welded a pair of removable leaf springs to the underside of his bucket for short tree removal as as well. What I don't like about that setup is how far out the weight distribution is beyond lip of the bucket, one needs to think & act carefully in that respect. Thanks for the demo on your various implements, very enjoyable to watch... Best, Bill on the Hill... :~)
Something that is NEVER pointed out in these videos, I guess because of the sponsor, if you are paying good money for a tractor, buy a brand with a decent dealer network (and a good local dealer) where you can get parts or service in a reasonable amount of time and you don't have to scrap your $20,000 tractor after the warranty runs out.
What is "real work"? I thought skidding out 5,000lb logs, grading and maintenance on 1/2 mile of driveways, maintaining 2 miles of trails, tilling, brush hogging, firewooding, food plotting, land clearing, and snow plowing were "real work"?
@@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans I look at maintaining trails, food plots, grading, tree cutting, and brush hogging at my farm on the weekends as a vacation from real work that I have to do during the week.
i have the rk55 and still find many different uses for it in your videos. i appreciate you taking the time to do all of that camera work and sharing the videos, they are great learning tools. yall HAVE A DAY 👍👍👍👍👍
george maddox, my rk55 only has about 20hrs on it so it has not went through a regen cycle yet. the only issue i had was 2 wires were crossed from rhe factory which caused it to blow the headlight fuse. rk took care of it. so far i am very pleased with it.
YA;LL WORK LIKE THE MAIL SERVICE ,, YA;LL WORK ,, IN RAIN ,SHEET ,SNOW ,,, KEEP YOUR HEALTH UP ,,,,BLESS YOUR HEARTS
Lots of Odds and Ends accomplished Nice!!👍👊
People that don't have a tractor don't realize just how useful they can be. Even with the littlest chores. I cant imagine life without one👍
Mike, you are a good man, thanks for your efforts and say hi to Hunter
Great demonstration, Mike

Very helpful for a tractor newbie like myself. Thank you!
Every vid shows more and more how sweet this RK deal is...just as beautiful as that weather and xtra daylight
A 3 point hitch is invaluable!!
You're a happy man, loving the simple things in life. It's good for the soul and those around you.
Thanks for my Sunday morning video 😊
Mike-You summed it up so well at the end as to why we do what we do. Thought I was hearing myself talk! LOL
That back blade turned around does a really nice job leveling the stone on your driveway. Thanks for sharing that tip.
Thanks for sharing, it is a huge amount of work moving camera's, editing and I for one appreciate it. God bless
Keep showing the basics. More the better! I still have a lot to learn on my new RK37..
I wasn't in the market for a tractor untill i started watching your videos.....👍👍
I'm a beginner and learn a lot with your vids. Thanks

Loved the video Mike, great job 🏴

I have a 25 year old John Deere 455 that I need to replace the transaxle in. It's just a lawn mower on steroids but I miss it so much!
Mike, did you go downstairs at the end of the video?? LOL
Lol no thats Melissa's thing
Mike,
Do you ever wish the grapple's bottom "forks" were longer? Sometimes it seems like they could limit your work because of the short length.
Mike, any guess what a tote of wood would weigh in at? When freshly split that is?
I did a video on that, about 1600lbs
did I miss the big split athon where you were going to split as much wood in a hour I hear you mention about splitting some wood in the near future
@emit gem finally got to watch it thank you

Do you still have your kubota? If not what did you do with it?
Here in Arizona we stay on daylight savings time all year long. Waste of time changing clocks 2 times a year!
in the long run, is gravel really worth it, over paved driveways? or is there some non-financial reason people prefer them?
What's your thoughts about John Deere compact and subcompact. Especially the quick attachments?
Never had a Deere so can't really say
where's your quick hitch???

Do you treat your property for termites?
Get your self a land plane - so much better than a blade for driveways
Have one
What do you think about putting landscape fabric under your driveway to cut down on the amount of gravel re-applying times?
Have a day brother.....
Thanks Man!
Mike, I cannot figure out why 10 people do not like this; I'd like it better getting behind the wheel of such nice tractors, but come on !?!
