In this fishing video I got trout fishing in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg! There is a small creek that runs straight the middle of this urban tourist town that is full of fish! I go try my best to figure how to catch these fish in the middle of the city! After a lot of trial and error I figure out a little pattern with the help of a fellow angler! Follow along to see how it all goes down and if I can catch these big downtown Gatlinburg fish!

Bigfoot sighting by the creeks in downtown Gatlinburg

one of my best memories of my late grandfather was on the same river in Pigeon Forge. We were staying at what is now the Creekstone Inn, caught a nice trout right below the hotel and cooked it on the riverbank for dinner. I am sure you can't do that now. He passed in 98, everything in that area has changed since. Thanks for bringing back some good memories Alex.

Little Tip: There is on the street parking for free there by the river on River Rd if you can find it. Usually during the week it's pretty available. Great place to fish year round. Also, below Norris Dam all the way to 2nd Baptist in Clinton is some of the south's best trout fishing. Some of my fav places to go

I love how the guy stocking just chucks them in from way up there! Hahahahaha

Love seeing ya dive into some multi species fishing man! Trout fishing is a BLAST! You got some really great fish too, not just numbers but some good quality for stockers for sure!!!

  • @chrisrus53

Great video!! I was in Gatlinburg in May of 2021 and wondered how the fishing was. I don't remember seeing anyone out then. What a blast!! Can't wait for our waters in Iowa to open back up.

  • @JonR35

Thanks for this! Visit all the time since I'm in Knox. Deff gonna try this

  • @joespafford6499

Definitely some irony and fishing under the aquarium, and those are some beautiful fish you caught in that first hole. And then going to that one under the bridge where you just hooked into some good ones. Those are really nice but they were acting all kinds of crazy. Great content as always. And I really enjoy the fact that you are so excited about this new species and fishing for them and learning. I personally use a black a pink crappie jig and I do alright with size and quality

  • @Redneckrino

Man that is awesome I have always wanted to fish those streams. Thanks man for the great content 👍🏼🇺🇸

  • @maryannegreenslade78

I think those last three fish you caught were the biggest trout I have ever seen. Congratulations!

  • @c.shoefish

Awesome video, I know EXACTLY where you were this video. When I was visiting over the summer, I saw a ton of trout in there and was wishing I had a rod with me .. great video bro.

  • @X2PowerBatteries

    Such a fun adventure!

  • @roanoke_yak_angler

Glad to see a cherrywood!!!!. I use two 6' Berkley Cherrywoods with okuma 2000's on them I use for trout fishing(one rigged with micro crank or spinner and the other a micro plastic). I also have a 6'6" medium fast Berkley Cherry wood that I have used for 8 years now as a ned rig rod. Dude your gonna be a trout master in no time!!!

  • @billycraighead9814

Alex It's good to see that you are doing some trout fishing. Now it's time to try the fly rod.

  • @dannybarnhill5704

I’ve been wanting to do that for years. I’ve been all over that area and have seen countless big trout in those waters. Gonna have to go get it done now.

  • @DoubleDigitAngler

Brings me back to my adolescent days fishing the streams

  • @scotthurley4967

Love to smallmouth fish, but that trout fishing is awesome too.

  • @staz6530

We were in that area 2yrs ago. Fished the streams, but no luck. I'm still learning myself. We fished Douglas lake, too. No luck either the lake was down in March! But had a great time🎣

  • @mikegardiner3934

hey Alex! Dude that’s my old past time, catching trout in helen, Ga and NGa streams!! Man, I miss that. I haven’t been in prob 4yrs. The first thing I was going to say is grab a panther martin tiny spinner and you’re in business. Another ole faithful option is a tiny pink worm below tiny spit shot. I love that cause it’s a visual bite !Great vid!
