Hey guys, enjoyed the video alot. We are East Texas transplants to NC. We miss our Texas, but love the mountains Been here 3 years this fall, 2021. If your ever back this way, you can look me up Pisgah Baptist Church in Casar, NC.
@@jameswedgeworth5300 Absolutely! Zach and I have been talking about doing a trip up there! Ill remember this comment!
Great video, good to see u got ur mojo back 🙂
Me too! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing...Stockers count...
Anything that bends the rod counts! Thanks for watching!
Nice trout
Thanks Killer Fuzz!
Love that Orvis fiberglass rod ~~ great choice.
It's a hard rod to beat. It's really fun to fish!
Are waders needed in September (cold water stream?) or can I wet wade? I'll be in town for a wedding but plan to get out in the mornings while everyone is sleeping the prime fishing hours away!
I would base it on the outside temp. If its hot outside, you can leave the waders. Also neoprene sock go along way with wet wading! Hope this helps and good luck!!
Heading there in a couple weeks. Any fly suggestions?
Green Inchworm patterns were the best. Frenchies and pheasant tails worked too!
I’m going to be in gatlinburg for the day tomorrow. Any suggestions where to go? I live in Michigan but I’m on vacation and will be going through there. Anything helps, thanks man
You can head north a little in Gatlinburg to the greenbrier cove rd. It goes along the little pigeon River If you want to fish the smokies. Otherwise the Dudley creek (downtown gatlinburg) is full of stockers. They stock one day a week where you can’t fish, but any other day is great. Grab your Gatlinburg license and have a great time! Also any bright patterns work for Gatlinburg. Most popular midges work in the park.
what net are you using?
It's a fishpond net that we did a paracord handle on.
Nice catch , I just checked out your channel and i subscribed , maybe when you get time you can check out my channel also thanks
I'll check it out! I'll be in wyoming next week on vacation!
