Just took on a lease for a 2025 Camry SE after I test drove one! Was gonna lease a 2025 Civic Hybrid but I took a liking to the new Camry's overall ride comfort even with 18 inch wheels. If all goes well I might pay it off when the lease ends, or lease another one but on a higher trim.
Make sure to put the lights in auto mode and then unlock the car, they will turn on after you press unlock. Works for most 2020+ cars. (Saw you had only drl mode enabled)
Lights above visor mirrors work better than lights directly to the sides of the mirrors, because your eyes have the same problem that caused you to have to adjust the Brightness level of your camera to make dimmer buttons visible in the video: With the lights directly on either side of the visor mirrors, your eyes will adjust to those lights glaring right into them by contracting the pupils, and the result is that you won't be able to see yourself in the mirror (just as your camera couldn't 'see' the dimmer buttons because it had adjusted to the brighter elements of the upper dashboard). Compare it to any car with lights on either side of the visor mirrors, and you'll see what I mean. With the lights above the mirror, they illuminate your face without making your pupils contract, and you thus can see yourself clearly in the mirror. It's a great little attention to detail on Toyota's part.
Wish they'd just put in some decent fog lights instead of the appearance only "accent lights". They did that on the RAV4 XSE as well. We have a '25 XSE on order. A few notes. The trunk light is bad, as noted. As a $ 25 option, you can get an LED bulb. Not sure if that helps or not. It happens to be on the one I am getting. Maybe it was a supply chain issue, but IMO, stupid to just not put in the LED bulb on all of them. They could have put a couple lights in there too. The XSE has the two LED's per side on the headlights, whereas some of the lower trim levels have a single one. (Not sure exactly which trim levels). Seems to be a thing with these modern LED headlights - the very sharp horizontal cut-off on low beams. My BRZ has this too, and I hate it. If you are going up or down a hill, strange things happen, as you have pitch black above the cut-off and bright light below. Sections of the road vanish in front of you. Plus on any bumps, the cut-off line bounces around a bit too. The highway institute rated these lights as "good" and the glare factor for oncoming drivers is in the acceptable range. (Seems most LED's are hard on on-coming traffic.) Great job covering all the facets of the lighting. Yes, it seems like they could have put some approach lights on the XSE. I have them on my Forester and really like them. Ditto having those door panel lights on the rear doors. My old '98 Accord LX had those on all 4 doors and it was a nice touch. Always interesting to see where they choose to cut costs and try to differentiate between models. Perhaps saving a few perks for the Crown line.
Sorry but the xse even with the premium plus package is garbage. All that money wasted, spend another 12k and buy a real luxury car if you can afford it.

Mike is the best in the business for detailed reviews. Period.
Facts
The little pointy hand lights up😆...hilarious!
I am from the Middle East, and thank you for the photography and explanation. You are a good man.
Thank you so much Mike! Been waiting for this 😁
Awesome video! The night time review looks so cool!
Mike great night time review… I like how you roll the window sticker at the end. Thanks!
More night time videos! Thank you! These are always super helpful
I think this XSE trim is the best looking. The perfect balance of pizazz without going overboard and looking gaudy.
Thank you for detailed review Mike , this was very helpful cause I want to buy this Camry as my everyday vehicle.
Nice review. Not a lot of folks do a detailed night review of vehicles.
Great review! I'm disappointed that there is no color ambient lighting. Oh well, maybe next year.
Heads up btw. Put the lights in AUTO. Then unlock the car, It'll turn them on for ya. Amazing video
Put the link for the illuminated finger pointer please.
Is that the heavy metal color? Can you get the outside accent lights on the XLE model? Good video

That’s not how Lexus/Toyota lights work. They only turn on the parking light. I own Honda/Acura and GM they turn on the actual headlights.

I don't see the exterior accent front pumper lighting option in the dealership website... 🤔
mike keep up the Great videos and reviews! I'd also like to ask, which car has your favorite interior lighting?
It is hard to beat the Genesis G90 :)
Does it come in different colour interior.
Is it the same as the xle awd?
Very nice video, so the front end accent lights do not act like fog lights?
No, not at all. They are very dim and only made for looks not visibility. Thank you.
Does the add on accent lighting turn off with the drl stock off. Or do they always run. Is there a way to turn them off if so.
1:18 yes
@MikesCarInfo thank u. I thought only the stock drl turned off

Night vid for civic touring 2025
Surprised Toyota did not include $25 optional accessory Trunk LED Bulb (on $44K car) to illuminate entire trunk.
I have it in my loaded xle
Is the light auto leveling?
@@giad117 no
Nice headlights and taillights. Everything else seems to be below average for a 40k car.
It's just missing the LED trunk light
@@Livin_is_life it is still a poor design even with a brighter light.
As well as missing a center console light. Rear usb plugs should be illuminated. Cmon on Toyota. Its the small things.
Really wish you could not have the moon roof
you can get an xse without any interior packages
t's a beautiful car but not a flagship compared to the outgoing Avalon! IMHO.
Lmao 😂😂😂😂 in my eyes 😂
Sorry but the xse even with the premium plus package is garbage. All that money wasted, spend another 12k and buy a real luxury car if you can afford it.
Your idiot this best look car out there
the point is the luxury vehicle will not be as reliable as the camry.
SU NARRACION DEL AUTO ES TERRIBLE....
