Garbage. Camry is taking big steps backwards and most RUclipsrs are desperately trying to frame it as a positive. While this platform may work for some trim levels, the XSE is now a joke. Going from the 8th gen V6 with 301 hp to 232 is an insult and terrible joke. Heck, the 3rd electric motor adds a puny 7hp. The front grill looks like garden lattice. The loss of real gauges for another digital screen shows cost cutting. Treachery is afoot. Seems my 2023 V6 Camry XSE will be my last Camry unless Toyota can pull their head out of their 3rd point of contact.

Great review! These new Camrys looks awesome! It looks like they took the interior from the Crown and incorporated it into the Camry, only it's too bad that they didn't bring over the extremely versatile dual access center console from the Crown as well - that would have made the new interior perfect! it will have a less reliable 4 cylinder turbo that will never go for as long as the older naturally aspirated V6 without repairs. Toyoats reliability is going to go down some with all these new turbos and battery replacements that will be needed at some point. The days of seeing 20+ year old toyotas on the road will sadly be gone.

The only bit I don't care for is putting the 12 volt connector in the console compartment rather than in the under the dash cluster with the USB connections. It makes for a longer and more obtrusive path for the cord for components that are located on the dash or suction-cupped to the windshield. Other than that, I love it.

Let's see how Toyota handles this engine for long term of reliability. In this case, I still trust Toyota than other brand making hybrid engine.
Hybrid engine is somehow better than Turbocharged engine, regardless it is Lexus or Toyota; it will wear down quickly or require more maintenance. We cant avoid that. Only thing we can avoid is DO NOT BUY TURBO ENGINES!!
I would like to get one of Sequoia or Land Cruiser of 2024, but both of them with turbocharged engine, and I dont like those turbo; Sequoia even crazier with mild hybrid assisting on top of that. It causes more stresses compared to Land Cruiser.

You want a car that you can drive for more than 100,000 miles or 10 years without any major expenses? Toyota is killing that plan by making ALL cars HYBRID. The pricing is definitely good, I hate that the XSE is only in Black or this chimsey boy racer red color. Would have liked a tan or lighter color on the XSE. Also no digital rear view. Gonna wait for more details on the Crown Signia, I am sure it is going to be more expensive, but I like the look better. Also gotta see if the JBL is still crap or if it has been improved.

Same Camry as the existing just refreshed front fascia. New tech updates also.

Toyota at first was reluctantly against the EVs. But, this all hybrid Camry is making it known that it will have to comply with rhe emissions standards of the USA, if you want to sell brand news cars in America. COMPLY! This is the first of the 9th generation, huh?

All I wanted to know was What is the difference between the XLE and XSE?
    Is it the style?
    Is it the standard options?
Is it the size of the engine?
I was looking for a cut and dry list or explanation of what the differences were.
That's what was inferred by the title.
Does one come with nav standard?
    Is it the exhaust?
    Can you help me out?

Avoid both and do not buy the 2025 Camry. Same exterior likeness as the 8th Generation Camry except the front fascia changed a little and no more rear fake vents. The recent Toyota Corolla front fascia is similar. Made the tail lights design worse. Interior is uglier. Strange shaped cup holder, brought the Infotainment Head Unit into the dashboard which is good but not seated in very well at all with a warped cover over the screen. Misplacement or assignment of Hazard Light switch no longer centered, the button is smaller and harder to find. Steering wheel is very strange looking. Appears to have a full digital instrument cluster which I do like. Still have the overrated and not Premium JBL sound system. Will the 9th Gen Camry have better high res cameras and backup camera, automatic folding side view door mirrors? Sorry, I have no intention of buying any Hybrid or EV. Bring back the Naturally Aspirated gasoline engines such as the V6 and V8, I might reconsider. The 2025 redesigned Camry is terrible, more disastrous than to like. As for the 8th Gen Camry just need to purchase Ottocast U2-X Pro dongle for Wireless Car Play and Android Auto. I'm happier and more satisfied with my 2023 Camry XSE V6 fully loaded and will definitely pass on the 2025 Camry. Again, Toyota does not care about your life as Toyota keeps using those Horrific and Dangerous Bridgestone Turanza EL440 tires for several years now. Shame of Toyota endangering peoples lives. Remember to call the Toyota Crown the Clown.

@Toyotajeff love the look and drive of the crown as well. Only drawback I find drivers seat cramped and center console too wide making right knee uncomfortable for long road trips

The new Camry looks more like a Lexus (front nose looks like the Crown). I don't like the green color on the XLE. I would like to see it in White.

I like everything except the gloss black on the interior. It always going to look dirty and reflect sunlight. Matte black would have been a much better choice.

Great Video Jeff…my lease on my 22 RAV4 SE Hybrid is up in January 2025…I have owned several Camrys in the past and the only reason I Leased the RAV4 was because I had ordered two cameras, and neither one would come in by the time my lease was up. So I took what I could get and that was the cavalry blue RAV4… I do miss my Camry and it was white with the cockpit red interior… Now that RAV4’s are getting priced out of my budget… I love the looks of the new Camry. I am also pleased that it has gone hybrid with the AWD option. I will note though I don’t know if Toyota is doing the right thing by making the Camry hybrid only as I do realize there are people that do not want a hybrid. Sales will tell. Looking forward to seeing one in person at the New York international car show in April… Didn’t realize how much space was on the Camry because cargo space is something I need and with a 6 inch ground clearance with the Camry versus the 8 inch ground clearance with the RAV… I think it should be OK here in the north east winters. Was looking at the cockpit red interior for 2025, but when Jeff said it’s available with a blue interior and a black exterior, I am anxious to see how sharp that looks… Jeff, keep these videos coming as I always look forward to your review on Toyotas

I’m not mad that this shares a lot with the old one but they could’ve called it a refresh like in 2015. The dash is literally the same as the old one..
