Two simple rules when driving a sedan like a Camry: 1. When entering or exiting a driveway, always be on an angle, the closer to 45° the better. You won't scrape. 2. When you enter a car park that has concrete buffers, always reverse into your parking space. You'll never scrape. If either of these 2 rules are too hard for you, or you can't be bothered to make that little bit of effort, buy a Forrester or a Tuscon instead.
Why are most reviewers failing to mention that the Australian Camry Hybrid requires 95 octane premium unleaded petrol? That adds real money to the running costs. I'm glad this guy actually mentioned it as a "sour note" because most are skipping over it. If the real world economy figure is 4.6 L/100 km on 95 octane petrol, that's roughly equivalent to 5.5-6 L/100 km on 91 octane in running costs which is far less impressive.
I bought this for myself for personal use. I always liked the camry, and I know it's very reliable and very fuel efficient.

seriously, that is good to know. because, rhat a big let down
This is the second Camry review I’ve seen that’s incorporated a plush toy. Hmm.
This really needs to come to Ireland / UK. It fixes the outdated aspects of the pre facelift completely. Really getting tired of only SUVs here.
strange Canada uses reg gas i just bought a se love it and drives great 1000kl. per tank
Crunching the low nose? Why not use monitor/ front facing camera?
They put the steering wheel on the wrong side!!!
Amazing cars ,this will no doubt continue selling like hot cakes
I love like sedan and Ute and not like suv
the new one is way better
Did you say made in Japan for the Aussie market? 🤞🤞
Yup.
Singapore, Taiwan, GCC Middle East, Australia and New Zealand will be getting their Toyota Camry from Japan
The only problem is recently and continued here is the requirement for 95 unleaded. For a family car that's not really acceptable.
From what I understand it's to meet the new Euro 6 emissions standards, the same with the Suzuki Swift 2024.
I've used regular fuel on my 2021 Camry for 250,000kms and still get 4.6L/100km and lower on highway. zero issues
It's a high compression Atkinson cycle engine. Ideal would be 98.
Oh 95RON...a bit of shame. Good to know tho
It’s very hard to believe this because I thought Toyota could do better.
95 isn't critical
Its not much more expensive than 91. Far out people are picky. You're getting 1000km+ out of 50L
New cars are so expensive these days. What ever happened to the $30k family car!?.
1995 is gone dude. She ain't coming back.
heaps of the great Chinese cars around mate
@ lol “great” if you love 0 star safety ratings 🤣
At least go for a Hyundai or Kia
Can’t do Uber comfort😢
it is included in uber comfort. but someone said the car needs 95 petrol.
Yeah, new uber car
Hmmm 40k for a Camry is pretty interesting
And it’s very basic for the starting price.
@italia8647 not a bad thing though...less thing to go wrong with time
The boomers will love it and will wait 2 years for the pleasure 👍
this one drives like sport sedan.
Oooh not only the boomers ❗
You mean indians @bjsimon802
Cant match the beauty of the Hyundai sonata
The Sonata will never match the reliability of the Camry.
@turbo-e3cToyotas reliability that people saying is way too much exaggerated.
@limelight777 it isn't exaggerated. I'll get 600,000km out of my Camry. Korean cars don't
its a severe pity that Uber in their ultimate global wisdom reserve Uber Green only for full EVs from April 9 2025
madness
Wow Uber understands that a hybrids are basically petrol cars👍
@limelight777 way better than ice and diesel
Especially when cars like the Camry Hybrid create less full lifecycle pollution than some EVs
Same running gear as a 2012 Camry hybrid a little bit better fuel economy 45k drive away for a Camry no thanks
And you have to use premium unleaded (95 RON)
YOURE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD TOO!!!!
i think last year model looks way better then 2025 model, i have 2020 sx and it still looks better then the new 1
