You can typically go on without operation for a long time as long as it is not bothering you. But if the hernia is trapped outside of your body and cannot be reduced (gently pushed back in), then I would recommend you see a doctor as soon as possible. You should either save up or invest in health insurance. Certain repair techniques can be done cash for about 3000$.

I feel like i got this inguinal hernia during my lower body workouts doing it everyday which really wasn't a good idea. I just wanted to know if thats what caused me to get this which never happened to me before?
I had the laparoscopy procedure done for inguinal hernia when I was 7 years old. Both right and left side. Boy did it hurt when I was conscious again. However, im 25 now, and I fear that maybe I might have a recurrence of hernia. Im very athletic, and play a variety of sports, and recently started working out again. Mainly just push ups, and dumbbell lifting. However, today I did no physical activity, but I feel movements around my groin, and testicle area, and so im quite concerned. Very little pain, but not enough to call it pain, so I guess some "discomfort" would be more accurate to describe it. However, throughout my day so far, it comes in go, and last no longer than a minute. Still just some movements basically around my groin, and testicle area, but again im kind of concerned. I'll wait for 48 hours at least then ill declare to go for a check up. Since this is the first time I felt this way, ill play the waiting game. Maybe just my body being weird today.

In the case of a reducible inguinal hernia, why is it not possible to push/massage the hernia hole closed after the intestine is back inside the wall? And how is it that the intestine continually falls back to the same hole? Can it not be massaged away to another area?
the hole is an enlargement of the normally tight and tiny hole through which your testicle descended. in indirect hernia the intestine follows the same route as the testicle. the hole cannot be massaged closed because the previously normal tiny hole has become a tear that will only close either by covering it or by stitching it or both.

Thanks for the video i just noticed the symptoms and your video helped me to know what the problem might be, also, why are smokers more prone to reocurrance?
even i hv same questions
Fred Torres Maybe smoking is another way to get a hernia smh but I know a lot of people who don't smoke who get them also
Fred Torres Smoking relieves some strain in muscles and tissues but thats what you dont prefer always. If you are a regular smoker OK but dont smoke occasionaly.
Coughing
smokers' biological systems for building collagen and scar tissue around and through the mesh is are inferior to those of non smokers.

Can inguinal hernia cause pelvic pain?
That is what I was wondering because my brother has pelvic pain.
Can this cost constipation?
start taking stool softeners at least a couple of days before surgery and keep taking them for several days after.
the opioids etc in the anaesthetic mix will constipate you and you risk popping the repair if you push while pooing.
i got my bump above my testicle to the right side and a bump on inside of thigh. Its a bit sensitive to touch. I thought i developed a giant acne pimple cause its sensitive to the touch....but that doesnt make sense. never had an acne this big. I applied some acne lotion and itch cream...i hope it goes away on its own cause the city i live it has shit quick access to good doctors.
