I met Dave Peverett after a show in Jefferson City, Missouri in the mid 1990s when he was signing autographs for a few fans. He and his band were the nicest, most considerate rock and rollers I have ever had a chance to meet personally. They put on such an incredibly good show with only a couple hundred people in the audience. I have not seen a better rock and roll show before or since. Such a tragedy that he died soon after that.
Foghat is the pinnacle of rock and roll. It gets no better than Foghat, anywhere, at any time. They are the best. The current Foghat lineup rocks nicely, too. Long live rock and roll, when it's done right!!
As a teenager in the 70s, I felt Foghat was real rock & roll. I was mesmerized by Dave Peverett's antics as a singer/front man/guitar player. When I look back at those days, I think what a privilege it was to be there in that era of great music.
As I watch this now after hearing many times when it was new I get a whole new appreciation for what these guys did, they had moments in time to where they made history with their music rest their souls

The older I get, the more I miss the genuine rock bands of the seventies... what a decade !!!
This is rock and roll at its finest. Get these guys in the Hall Of Fame where they belong.

I love this group. Their sound is so unique. They have definitely influenced me. I believe the rock of the 70s was the greatest time for music ever.

I can't watch this without feeling a profound sense of loss over Dave Peverett, Rod Price and Craig MacGregor.
Jams that never fade away, just gets better!
