Great rock blues band - Видеоклипы
Foghat should be in the rock and roll hall of fame. If you don't enjoy this, you don't understand real rock and roll. These guys are guitar Gods legends.
I agree, I didn’t realize they weren’t in the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame. That sucks
‼️‼️‼️ Rock and Roll Hall of Shame is a joke , and all true classic rock fans get it. Many in the Hall of Shame don't even deserve to be there. Many more great bands , solo artists , aren't in. People I know can't stand that joke in Cleveland. I would NEVER , EVER , even go look at the place. ‼️‼️‼️
You bet!
RRHOF is a fuckin joke ! The surviving member (only one) I'm sure doesn't care anymore !!!❤
The hero’s of my youth!
Saw Foghat 6 times, saw them with this lineup open or coheadline with Blue Oyster Cult 1981,what a great night, only memories now😢,never heard anything of Erik Cartwright before or after his time in Foghat, but I liked him, excellent guitarist, RIP LONESOME DAVE AND ROD 🕊🕊🕊
Foghat: pure rock and roll at its most fundamental basics. We jammed to Foghat like no other band. There was no band like them.
Great job by Erik Cartwright
Slide?
while i like Rod Price, this totally rocks! almost like a different era from the 70s...
Ahh the old days. No back drop just straight ahead rock and roll.
I saw this tour with BOC.. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
Craig MacGregor was the absolute FUNKIEST white bass player ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
him and mel schacher- great styles!
Lonesome Dave was a Great singer and showman Foghat was Great and if there no in the Rock and roll hall of Fame yet they should be.
Amazing! I was young teenager at this Concert! Brings back fantastic memories of when concerts were general admission and tickets were $15.00 no higher than $20 per ticket. I've seen them over 6 times since. Mizner Park amphitheater was the last one a few years ago. Tickets were $85 each. Still play their songs on my guitar almost daily. They rocked! Thank you for posting!
Saw lots of bands there from 78 thru 83, Foriegner, Boston, Kansas ,Van Halen, Doobies, Rush ,Molly Hatchet, sportatorium was a below average barn that leaked when it rained & you navigated big puddles in the gravel parking lot, didnt care, thats where the Rock n Roll was man!🎸👍
Foghat was my first real concert at 17 years old. On March 25, 1978, they played the Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston with Judas Priest and BTO. I'll never forget that night!
I was there!!🎉❤ So many bands, I saw at The Sporto!! I was 16 then. No Rod Price or Tony Stevens. Erik Cartwright and Craig Macgregor Certainly made it work, allong with " Lonesome Dave" Peverett and Nick Jameson!! What a Night!! RIP, Dave & Rod!😢
Saw so many great shows at the sportatorium. cheap trick, black sabbath, van halen, kiss, bad company ELP, yes, grateful dead, outlaws, aerosmith, blue oyster cult to name a few
Saw them when I was 16 years old on this tour. Joe Perry Project opened. Cape Cod Coliseum.
I saw them when I was 16 also (1979), Pat Traverse Band was the opening act, with Tommy Aldridge on drums. At the IMA Sports Arena, in Flint Michigan
I saw the J. Perry Project open for Jeff Beck at the Cape Cod Colesium and Foghat with the Johnny Van Zandt band and the Outlaws in the old Boston Gardens. 😉
Mi primer vinilo de rock fue de FOGHAT en vivo.
Grandes y eternos rockeros de talla mundial.
CLASSIC FOREVER.
Slow Ride temazon.
had foghat live on 8 track. the best of the 70s
Great concert.wish they would release it on dvd.
McGregor slayin it!
Thanks for the flashback. I attended many Classic Concerts at the Famous Hollywood Spotatorium and this was one of many. Boston, Alice Cooper, Kiss, The Cars, Rush, Styx, The doobie Brothers, Ted Nugget and so many more I can't seem to remember concerts. I also saw Foghat at the Miami jai alai I beleave in 1980 .Eddie Money opened for them.. what great Rock N Roll. 😂
I was there
I forgot how good Craig MacGregor was!
Hell, yeah. Killer bass lines. RIP
Craig is a legend
Piledriving melodious bottom end!
Smokn' show !!
I've literally seen a thousand shows and never saw them..
Kills me to this day.
Stone Blue Album should get even more love than it does.

I saw ZZ Top open for Foghat in 1977. It was before ZZ Top got all commercial. But Foghat put on a rockin show.
Great concert
❤Foghat, this was a cool line up
The real foghat brilliant .
Rock and roll at it's finest! RIP Lonesome Dave, Craig and Erik!
And Rod...
@@darinclark1853 You have to have seen Rod Price live, he blows you out of the concert hall.....RIP Rod
RIP ROD PRICE ⭐
saw this guy on lead , great player, he played slide on a little Chiquitta guitar, you back of guitar magazines all the time, wish i could have seen stone blue tour , that was the only good lp that came out after the first2/3 check out the 1st lp, it has all great songs from start to finish rip, dave/ rod, love and miss you D Jan S
same never saw regrets
I saw this lineup in '84 , absolutely lethal!
Great concert by this legendary band, thanks for posting this gem!!
ROCK IN HEAVEN LEGENDS .... 🎸🎸🤘🤘💪💪🙏🙏
I really wanted to see this concert real bad and was curious about how good Erik Cartwright was gonna be. My mother would not allow us to go see concerts at the Hollywood Snortatorium until Van Halen 1984. Within a month of this Foghat concert Rush had the infamous tear gas incident and she read about it in the paper.
I was there🎉
Oh wow, that’s awesome
Missed them at the Sportatorium but caught up with them at the Miami Jai-Alia (now a casino) with Eddie Money the opening gig.
That was a great show!
Missing THE MAN Rod Price in this set.

What?
I love foghat but this looks like a combination of spinal tap and boogie nights
I wonder why Erics guitar sound so flimsy....
My guess is it’s the strat tone. I always felt Foghat was more a humbucker/les Paul band.
@@squigsmusicRod Price played a Strat in later years
Who's playing slide and where was Rod at this time ? Great vid thanks
I believe in 1981 this was the band lineup
Dave Peverett - lead vocals rhythm guitar
Erik Cartwright - lead, slide guitar
Craig MacGregor - bass
Roger Earl - drums percussion
Nick Jameson - keyboards backing vocals
Rod left the band after the 1980 tour due to exhaustion. He'd alluded to it in an interview in 1979 so the band were not surprised.
No Rod Price in this lineup. When did he join?
Price joined Foghat when it formed in London in 1971. He played on the band's first ten albums, released from 1972 through 1980. Price's final performance with Foghat before he left for the first time was at the Philadelphia Spectrum on 16 November 1980.
why is rod price not with them?
Because Rod left the band.
@@Georges_Video_Library thanks never knew he left.i only know there 70s records after 80 im not knowing.i did know the return of the boogieman album.think that was 96.abd 97 rhey did the albany concert outdoors at the fair
Great Record @@GRILLBUOY101
Left because he didn’t like the bands direction. I saw them twice on this tour. Erik Cartwright was a damn good guitar player and I love the “Girls To Chat And Boys To Bounce” LP
@@Cape-Dweller ok cool i will check it out ty
Love Foghat, but that damn square guitar is ugly!
I agree. Any Gibson or fender would’ve been better
They're a blues-based band and he's copying his idol... Bo Diddley. He also had that same style guitar.
Yes, he is trying to be clever and emulate Bo Didley however, American Rock Audiences at this time would have been COMPLETELY oblivious. It is corny!
Yeah, never liked that Bo Diddley guitar shape, but Dave's shirt is a bigger crime against the eyes.
Que importa que marca de guitarra era, lo que si importa es la calidad de quien la toca.
una maravilla de blues rock!
Roger ain't Roger without that beefy mustache...
