      Buster Wolf and Trinity Geyser were actually inspired from OVA3.
      Trinity Geyser = Terry's first fight against Jamin. That part where they do their ground projectiles? Jamin slammed the ground with both of his hands.
      Buster Wolf = Terry's rematch against Jamin. Remember when they clashed their fist? Terry did an explosive move to blow Jamin away (and killed him)

      @@WhatIsMatter101Krauser saw it only once when he's watching Terry fighting Kim Kaphwan. After that he challenged Terry where Krauser won due to Terry's fatigue in the earlier fight. After losing his confidence, Terry managed to got back up and challenged Krauser again where Terry got surprised as Krauser also learned the Hyaku Seiken Senpuken which showcases Krauser being a combat genius. Finally Terry managed to beat him using his new move: The Power Geyser.

    To be clear though, the version he's using in City of the Wolves is the upgraded version he made that he used against Geese to defeat him and as shown here, when he fought Wolfgang Krauzer...the "Hadou Senpuu Kyaku/Wave Motion Whirlwind Kick", instead of leading with his arms as in Senpuu Ken, he leads off with kicks as in his Hadou Senpuu Kyaku.

    Im glad someone actually made this and pointed it out!!!! I instantly realized he was using the Hakkyokuseiken, fused with the power geyser. This is how I know they are truly making this game with love and giving Terry his due as the Undisputed G.O.A.T of Fatal Fury
    Man created his own G.O.A.T technique and im glad SNK finally brought that back, would bebnice if they also added the Hakkyokuseiken punch and kick later on as separate moves for him but one can hope

  • @alexandrelau79

    Legal a SNK colocar a versão do Terry desse golpe. Na verdade esse é o golpe mais forte. A técnica secreta que o mestre Tung Fu Rue ensinou para ele e que o Geese queria aprender. Eu também fiz esse movimento para ele no Mugen.

  • @KOF-Family
    @KOF-Family Месяц назад +8

    As a KOF fan it really threw me off watching him performing this move in the animated films. Thinking that it was a wrong move since Terry does not use it in any of the games... Joe owns this move and it's his signature special attack, so I remember thinking, not only it's an out of character move, it somehow also minimizes the speciality of Joe.

    • @josephparaiso9503
      @josephparaiso9503 Месяц назад +3

      That's why Terry created the Power Geyser. Senpuu Ken was like his starter move and since his creation of P. Geyser, he kinda rarely use it. (Or may he find it too flashy to use? Or.. maybe he realized that he's the type who defeats opponents with lesser but harder hits?) Now in CoTW, he found a good way combine both Senpuuken and P. Geyser.
      (btw, you probably noticed that no Hakkyokuseiken practitioner fights the same as it is more of a Chi mastery rather than a fighting style. Terry, Andy, Jeff, Geese, Cheng, Shun'ei and Meiten fights with their own styles. )

      That is true, it looks strange after you know how those games evolved... but you can just take it as a display of creative liberties by the time that anime was made. If you pay attention to the timelines, Fatal Fury 2 (that introduced the super) is from late 92 if I'm not mistaken. And that first FF anime, I don't know the exact release date (only that it's also from 92) but there are chances the makers didn't have an idea of the super. Or maybe they knew it (if it came after FF2) and still wanted to force a connection between Terry and Tung through a move.
      Also remember that SF2 anime where Ryu has the old Yamcha hair, that invented a total unique lore and redefined the Hadouken, the energy concept, etc. It's a romanticized exaggeration of fighting game moves that is a little similar to the style of those FF animes.

    • @2Good2BeTrue45
      @2Good2BeTrue45 28 дней назад

      Uh no. Hakkyokuseiken is the master of the wind and Terry was a master of the style before he even met Joe, and he mastered the punch and kick variations in order to defeat Geese. He had to upgrade to Power Geyser because Krauser mastered the Seppu Kyaku, same as him but had greater control and mastery of the technique.
      Joe has always been third string in the group. He has his whirlwind but it never never be on the level of the Hakkyokuseiken. You gotta upgrade your knowledge of Fatal Fury

      Concordo, se eles quiseram usar de referência ficou muito diferente. O que dá pra dizer que é uma era uma referência direta seria o do Krauser (Gigantic Cyclone) ou do Tung (Senpu Gohken) a partir do RBS (executam de formas diferentes mas é clara a referência). Já esse (salvo se animação for mais do que o mostrado) ele só dá dois chutes e aparece um furacão NA FRENTE dele e em seguida faz uma power geyser no meio desse furacão.... Eu achei muito feio
