Every taxi driver in Stuttgart picks up 2 or 3 famous people each year. I met a taxi driver who picked up Elizabeth Taylor at the airport in the mid 70s.. She was with a lady friend.
The driver could speak English and she seemed amicable so he asked her about her films. He was a good listener and she answered all of his questions in depth. It took about a half hour to get to the destination. She gave him the biggest tip he had ever gotten.

Harrison Ford has to have been THE luckiest actor of the 20th century -- Han Solo and then Indiana Jones? NOBODY in Hollywood history ever got better roles than these, and nobody in Hollywood could have brought those characters to life as well as Harrison Ford did. For once, the casting directors "got it RIGHT!":

Taylor in the movie "Taming of the Shrew" was spot on! I didn't know I married the spoiled temper tantrum prone baby of the family with my 1st wife. I definitely fell in love with and Married her ambassador. After 3yrs of temper tantrums, embarrassing public behavior, endless ultimatums, threats shes gonna kill me in my sleep, while she was at work one day, I just packed my army duffle bag, took polaroid pictures of everything in the house as it was while she was gone to cover my ass from her evil, vindictive pettiness. Divorced in 1 yr flat. I bought the movie "Taming of the Shrew" and put in the mailbox with a post-it note that simply said "Watch this and know exactly why you will never carry my last name again in this lifetime". 😉😉

The CHEMISTRY between Taylor and Burton was undeniable. Especially on screen. Bogart was a serial monogamist. Bacall was his soulmate. Sinatra was a heartthrob, and a playboy. He met his match in Gardner. Eroll Flynn patted like a rockstar before they even existed. He had a great onscreen chemistry with DeHavilland. Elizabeth Montgomery was a "player' whose private life was nothing like her public on screen one. Clark Gabel was also a "player," and an Alpha male. He had on-screen chemistry with almost ALL of his "leading ladies." Chaplin was a borderline pedophile and a womanizer. Harrison Ford's affairs were tame compared to the others. Calista Flockhart finally tamed him.
