In the U.S. there's always the screaming woman in the background; in South America there's always a doggo trotting by...lol
In the uk, there’s always an old man/woman who will turn to you and say…
“There’s something you don’t see every day”.😂
In Japan they just start taking pictures with their Nikons
We call the doggo "caramelo"
In Russia, life just carries on and no one notices.
Either way there's always a b*tch somewhere 😂
ASP: "Don't sit in cars on your phone."
Me sitting in my car watching this video: "Got it"
LoL yes I sit in car on phone. Yet I understand he's mentioning a vulnerability
😂
Sometimes, you just can't wait to watch ASP. 😁
hopefully you are armed and ready
🤣🤣🤣
Sometimes they pick a victim that waited their whole life for that moment to defend themselves and it makes a great video.
Some of us are still WAITING! Sigh.
@@ODB11B….Just don’t forget, in the US…a great deal of legal trouble and potentially a ton of cash to defend your actions come with it. It’s not free.
I think the phrasing of "waited their whole life" could be interpreted that they wanted a defensive encounter to happen to them. Most people who train to defend themselves severely hope they never apply their training. IMO I'd say they prepared their whole life.
@@JKYLEM1000agreed. this describes me. I train regularly and am completely ready for such an occurrence should it ever happen.. but I hope and pray it never comes.
@@JKYLEM1000 Sure but look at the people who "defend" themselves against people who just knocked on the wrong door.
Dog: “You gonna eat that?”
BEST COMMENT OF ALL !!! 😂
LOL
probably give him worms and mange.
Gotta feed my kids. 🦴🐕
Ahahahahahaha!!
I believe the only way to stop crime is to stop criminals. We all have that right and responsibility to protect ourselves and who we love.
Good bro
Versus the current democratic way of thinking in the United States that claims that the only way to stop crime is to make law abiding citizens criminals aka take away rights from everyone.
And to be completely honest, that feels like a lot of what the current republican way of thinking in the United States goes towards as well. Usually different types of rights, but still morally wrong way to handle it.
@@justjeff386wrong way to handle what? Shooting a guy pointing a gun at you? Let's not forget the context
The only problem with this logic is this: what defines a criminal? Is it purely a legal basis? Do you really believe someone is only "bad" if they've broken some law?
My brother, an ex marine was attempted car jack. My brother shot in cold blood in the ribs, went on to fight and kill the shooter with his hands. The shooter had a long rap sheet, been let go by they system over and over.
Your brother is a "former" Marine. There is no such thing as an ex-Marine.
There's an old proverb that states:
"Once a Marine, always a Marine". 👍
Glad your brother is ok. You didn't say it ... but the way you talk .. he is alive. Sounds like a good guy.
@@gregdzialo9998 I’m sure they meant exactly the same thing as you just said
@@gregdzialo9998meaning they’re no longer actively deployed. My cousin was a marine and lost his arm in combat and could be considered an ex marine or a retired marine, to him I doubt the wording would matter too much, because he’s still a marine, just not actively.
@@nathanbelofsky6911
FYI: "Marine" in reference to such a service member is always capitalized. 👍
My late father, Capt.R.E. Dzialo, USMC (Ret), & Vietnam combat veteran, was a former Marine even when still living, & is interred @ Quantico National Cemetery, Virginia. He never recognized the phrase "ex-Marine" during or after his career & I will always defer to his authority of experience.
Love how the criminal element always hang around to help their fallen comrade...
😂😂😂😂😂😂
lol
No honour amongst thieves.
LOLLLLLL
Like never😊
Surprise MF!🤘
Carjacker crawled away like a feral stray cat in an alleyway, FAFO
Hey John. The defender was an off duty cop. I live in Argentina and speak Spanish. When it says in the article Policia Bonarense. That means he is a police officer from the province of Buenos Aires. So he would have been in his car with his pistol loaded and probably between the seat and the consol ready for instant action.
He had all the moves of a cop ; an excellent one
@@stevendouglass8795 Yes. Those cops have a tough job. BA is a war zone. On a par with Baltimore or Chicago.
Do the cops there typically wear body armor? It's easier to be bold in a gunfight when you have armor.
@@dwaneanderson8039- It’s also easier to be bold when you know you’re not going to get run through the legal system for taking a necessary life-saving action.
@@dwaneanderson8039 They were basic ballistic vests while they are at work but not when they are "de Civil" or plain clothes.
Dog walks in like a curious lookie-loo, then trots daintily away. Nice.
Probably saw his essence leaking out and kept moving.
I love all the words you used in this sentence.
I figured that the criminal saw the dog, kicked his legs out thinking that the dog might go to him, and the dog reacted.
Fidel the dog prefers cold cuts.
Ahahahahahaha!!

As do I...😉,🤫 reminds me my back is hurting and could use a good table shower 🚿 also 😅😏
Me too
I so love to read "...[perp] briefly regrets..." YAY.
That doggo had a heck of a story to tell his fellow strays. Ran so fast as soon as he saw what happened so he could be first to tell LOL
About the discussion about the perp and his gun: his gun wound up at his feet AFTER he was first shot and must have flinch dropped/flung it to its final resting place. As he was crawling stumbling away from the good guy he was also crawling stumbling towards his firearm and got damn close to it before the good guy exited his vehicle and approached with gun up. I think that prevented the mortally wounded carjacker from trying to reach for it, besides his rapidly failing body.
Love a feel good story to start the day with! 😊
Very good lesson! I just shared this to my friend that is all ways unarmed and sits in his car watching RUclips almost everyday for hours. Situation awareness is a learned behavior. I’m still learning. Thanks for your work and posting lessons.
I do it all the time, and have NEVER had a problem.
@@davidharrison7014 major importance of where you live.
@@davidharrison7014you'll NEVER be a victim, until you are. You can base your behaviors solely off your own experience, or you can wise up and learn from others' experience -- which is the purpose of these ASP videos.
Great video with my morning coffee.
Because of your channel, I now always have the car running if I need to be in there at all and I always pull away if someone starts coming towards me. I have always been cautious and aware (not paranoid) but this has been added to my safety plan. Sadly, no place is safe. Thank you for all of your content!
the world is just a little bit better then yesterday after this....
Not anymore. Iran just sent out a drone strike in Isreal.
I like that you recommended that if you’re in your car waiting then have it in drive. I’ve wondered about this a lot. Thank you.
. . . but not for extended periods
I don't like "keep in gear" because you're more likely to accidentally let up on the break and hit someone or something than you are to get carjacked. Especially if you have kids getting in or out of the car and all the distractions that they can bring. Obviously, it also depends where you are parked. More important is ensuring that you have clearance to drive away.
Leaving in drive is a terrible idea. You are a million times more likely to get into an accident than a gunfight
He won’t carjack again, will he? Gotta love it !!😎
Lmao dam the dog realized what happened and he got tf out of there 😂 he said don’t shoot me
Love tosee the bad guys pay dearly
It’s a good thing you have an unlimited supply of vids from Bueno Aires!!😮🤣🤣
"Oh, I'm sorry. Was that yours?" 😉😁
That dude that ran could've won the Indianapolis 500 in tennis shoes.
Doggo's like: "Dinner is served!!!"
FINALLY you mentioned (briefly) that it’s possible he had another gun. Seeing that a perp dropped A gun does not mean the threat is eliminated. It’s a bad idea to put that in peoples’ heads.
With what’s happening at the border I would expect this type of crime along with dual rider scooter and motorcycle robberies to rise in United States.
Situational awareness is more important now more than ever.
Was talking to my lady about the same topic this morning 👍🏽
@@hon3st249 was talking to my man about the same topic this morning. I one upped you. What ya got come on back. 😘
Really? U expect moto robberies to start happening in the US? I think you watch too much news buddy.
@@duckweathermcoc8731 well, _I_ watch too much activeselfprotection. 😁
everything comes back to "the border" when all you watch is fox news.
People in dangerous environments develop that vigilance and they’re constantly on alert. I know this from experience because the society I live in went from a peaceful island to a hell hole within a few decades and I developed the spider sense just by being emerged in such an environment. I naturally developed the habit of looking over my shoulder whenever I’m in a crowd, I constantly check my mirror whenever I’m on my bike and I don’t let people come too close to me and I always check peoples faces in a crowded spot to see if I spot any half wits. This vigilance was drilled into me without consciously putting an effort into it.
Which island
that's nice but u also need tools & plans
Sounds horrible. I’m sorry you have to live in constant fear.
In the US there are also a lot of afraid paranoids who think they have to defend themselves behind every corner
@diggeler caution≠fear my friend.
“ magic pocket super computer” 😂
He looks like a dying Daddy Long Legs that can’t get its footing 😂 Hi-larious!!!
Beautifully done.
I needed this today. Thanks 😊
This is so perfect. Thanks.
"Briefly Regrets" My new favorite line from this channel
Lmao that dog is trying to get to work damn it!
I love when you show videos with happy endings 😊 thank you
Love the Oz scarecrow legs they get when the hurt sets in.
Just downloaded your app looked up the ammo website. Started watching u years ago, fell away for awhile watching again thanks for posting knowledge
The pooch being nosey had me laughing 🤣
Flawless, go good guys!
LOVE IT!!!! More, more!
I love a warm fuzzy story before bedtime.
Thanks
Great outcome.
I love a story with a happy ending!
Good man
Situational awareness is everything.
I always love to see the good guys win.
Turd dirt naps always a favorite..❤❤❤❤
Great job 👏
The dog looked like he was smiling.
Man, the guy who got shot started playing QWOP in order to get away.
John. You forgot to mention how fast 💨 and wisely that Dog 🐶 got out of the danger ‼️ zone and protected his/her ASP.
Well done!!! SWEET
Great buddies
The crook was all macho pulling out his big gun but got humbled by a quicker smaller gun. Size doesn't matter it's how you use it that counts.
Dude could've been enjoying a lunch break but then the assfault challengers pullup. Great vids
The accomplice went from 0-60 mph in 3 seconds faster than the car 😂
The dog coming over the help was hilarious
Absolutely beautiful video.
Just love the outcome here...
This makes me happy!
carjackers had to back their car up 5 inches just to make sure the target was properly alerted
Hahaha.... I love it when the bad guys take the sidewalk temperature challenge ❤😂
Gotta luv a happy ending. 👏👏👏
Minivan of Danger ... great band name.
LOVE IT!
The Dog was interviewed later on and admitted he watches ASP and when he saw the shooting he said to himself "Not my Circus Not my Monkeys" later he added "Whoof Woff" 🤣
Great video.
Thank god
Excellent reaction time.
The defender was waiting for someone to ambush. 😆
I love feel good stories
respect to the best
At the beginning of this channel you had a video where the lesson was to keep your door locked. I took that to heart and reprogrammed my car to LOCK when put in drive and NOT unlock in park. This came in force when i pulled into a C-store and heard sirens. Moments later a car smashed into the front of the store. Dude jumped out with a gun. Dude ran up to my van and amazingly didn't shoot through the window. When he couldn't get the door open he noped over to another car at which point the police got him.
*’When keeping it real goes horribly wrong’*
The tips provided on this channel are great. When I am 'Driving Ms Daisy and waiting for the ms to return from the store, I always keep the doors locked and remove the seat belt. That way I am one step closer to a silent draw. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely love this one
And I love that John's head is on a post... My wife noticed first and I told her it's not a post. John lost a lot of weight...
Honor among thieves?
Methinks not.
The dog is fearless. The perfect house dog.
Every time I see these two on a video I think of that terrible shooting in the snow.
Doggo had his back. Good Dog!
I love these kinds of videos 😅😊
I love how he always says “briefly” 🤣🤣🤣
How can you tell?
Thank you Citizen for improving the World.
I bought one of those magnet holsters never installed. I need a good recommendation for a left-handed holster for 9mm Ruger. I've observed same side draw faster than cross draw. Open to holter suggestions.
Beautiful...
Got ‘em!
i always look around when i sit in my car, prepared to engage should it happen. Another thing i think helps me is the bad guy cant see what im doing or if im in the car as my vehicle has limo tint everywhere except the windshield so walking upto the car you wont notice a gun pointed at you unless you stuck your face to the window to pry and peer through that 1%glass
Imagine finally looking through the glass just to see a gun barrel pointed at your head lmao.
Calm down with your super cool, non existent limo tint that you practice samurai moves behind 😅!!
sure bud
Hell yeah
All cowards want an advantage, in size, in number, in weapon.
Wow I am really glad I live in Canada where we never have to worry about this kind of shit happening.
"Feets don't fail me now!" Man, that dude took off... 🙂
"The mini van of danger"!
Nice to see justice.
I have dark tint on all my vehicles… helps to keep them guessing who and what is inside .
