Hello! My name is Samery, I'm a 4th degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and I am a 6-time US Collegiate National Champion. I train in Sparring, Poomsae (forms), Nunchucks, and Bo Staff. Hi Queen! I just did this video along with another the past couple of weeks. I am a second degree black belt in TKD however I can’t afford to take any classes and haven’t in probably 4 years now:( I am so happy I am able to keep practicing and continue to do a sport that I love so much and you’re one of the reasons I get to!!! i have a question very important tho
is taekwondo, effective for self defense in real life scenarios where u have no choice but to defend yourswlf or fight back
I know of 2 people who used it for self-defence. One is a girl i know(the story is from a third person), she was creeped on by a guy at the disco and she beat him to a pulp. Knowing her, i believe it to be true. The other one is a guy, who like the girl in the other story went to tournaments. He had problems with a guy because of a girl and the guy pulled a knife on him, if i remember correctly. The guy with the knife was beaten to a pulp.
