I actually walked down the aisle at my wedding to Jeff Beck’s version of this song. So moving. We are all forever grateful for his impact on the world.
One of the greatest electric guitar performances of all time. Jeff Beck was the messenger of eternal healing. Bringer of love and joy to world of music. Modern guitar phrasing owes everything to his brilliance. God Bless Him.
What an amazing rendition of Nessum Dorma on the guitar. So, so beautiful that it does literally bring tears to the eyes. And Jeff just takes all applause in humble stride. Rest in Peace, Jeff Beck. You will always be remembered as a maestro of the guitar.
I think Jeff Beck is actually playing his soul through his guitar. He lays it all out. Expertly. Every time. He was such a soulful musician. No one else like him. Completely unique. A past-master of tone and timbre. RIP Jeff! 3:59
brillant is an understatement. the tone, the pitch, the control are incredible. and to do it to a 100 year old italian opera. Where has Music taste gone? to the highest level ever performed. Truly a master of the guitar..... One with the guitar.
My dads favorite song. He shared it with me from his hospital bed on his deathbed asking to have it played at his funeral. My dad was a brilliant guitarist also. Breaks me apart to listen to it but it is so beautiful I have to listen to it again and again
Interesting coincidence, I took my Dad to hear Turandot, his first and only opera, a year before he died. He loved this aria, and I always think of him when I hear it.
For being so outlandishly talented he seemed to be a pretty down-to-earth guy. I am so glad I got to see him perform twice, and I got stuck in traffic next to him one day and told him "You're F'ing, GREAT!" and he gave me a thumbs-up.
Jeff Beck, may he Rest now forever in the Light of our Lord God in Heaven. He is the most innovative guitarist of his generation and beyond... right up to this very day. His skills and artistry have him enshrined within the Echelon, and among the Greatest Guitarists of all time..! I'm very glad that I've witnessed this..!
Hell, I cried when I heard this when it came out on the album. Now, hearing it after his death -- well, I'm just a mess. How can sound be so beautiful? RIP to the greatest. Giddy cries of God from his finger tips ....
I absolutely get sooooo emotional and cry when I listen to Jeff playing this song. There is absolutely no one greater then Jeff on that guitar. I miss him tremendously.
Jeff Beck, master of the whammy bar. Could play any style. The way he plays it's like someone singing to you. This is so beautiful. Gone too soon. RIP.
A rock guitarist “gone too soon” at 78 years old. Think about that. You might hear that again only if JMcL dies at 78, but he’s not really a rock guitarist.

Never again, a rock guitar like that of the legendary Jeff Beck, will be more exciting than the voice of a Tenor, in this wonderful Aria by Giacomo Puccini.
I am hopeful as well, lots of young talent out there. The challenge for them is to balance technique with taste and melody as Beck did! I had the good fortune of attending this Crossroads. My God! Nessun Dorma! Wow! The piece always gives me chills and tears, when the right tenor sings it, but this shook me. Beck demonstrates the vast difference between a Class A musician and a garage hack who need to turn up the volume to drown out their equally vast lack of talent. Bravo, Mr. Beck!
