I just listened to Jeff Jimmy Page Joe Perry Flea w/Metallica doing train kept a Rollin and I was literally brought to tears. It was so powerful and moving and amazing that I just couldn't contain myself.. To much emotion!!
The one and only guitar player. He is the greatest player to explore all the possibilities that the electric guitar could hold, and a pioneer of astonishing virtuosity. My life has been with his innovative music for nearly a half-century. Deepest salute to him. Overflowing with love and gratitude for him. So lonely and my heart is crushed. I don't know what to do. Miss you , Jeff… I have nothing but gratitude for him. Love you Jeff..
Jeff did not simply play the guitar. He commanded it, he controlled it, he made it do the impossible. He mastered it like no other. He was second to none. He was humble, polite, appreciative. He had a unique and a spiritual special gift. No other comes close to achieving all that he did and gaining the respect he so deserved .
One of the most amazing things about Jeff Beck, besides his amazing skill, musicianship, use of dynamics, etc. is his gorgeous, soaring tone. No one makes a guitar sing like he does!
@@MrSlytux At School, Jeff Beck wanted to get a guitar, and he came in at age 14 with some bits of wood and some wire from who knows where? He was a year older than the rest of the class, because his mother wanted him to stay a bit longer in school. She was a trained pianist and did not want him to play "Pop" music! It was lunch time and Jeff strode in to the back of the room, and sat on the floor of the Art Teachers store room and fiddled with the stuff he had brought in. The class was in awe of him because he was a year older than we were, and soon the boys who knew him best passed the message to the rest of the class that Jeff was trying to make a guitar! He longed for a guitar and was to see a TV programme of Les Paul, and knew that was the guitar he really wanted. In the mean time he was trying to make his own! Suddenly we heard some blues notes come from the store room. No one could understand how he had made those sounds, as in 1958 there were no miniature radios around to sell to the public!! One of the greatest talented musician has left the planet. Dear Jeff, you leave an empty space in this world, but however we feel your music in our hearts and souls. Thank you for giving so much pleasure to all people in the world.
I'm crying while listening especially the first part...it is so sensitive and powerful at the same time ...his music will last forever in our space....💫
Music can be diminished by flashy, technical displays of frantic technical stunts that have nothing to do with the composers' intents. Jeff OWNED the melodic touch and unparalleled technique that made his strat the lead vocalist. I will always treasure the way his music can soothe my mind and soul.
It's all true what people say about Beck's musicianship. But, no one talks about the elephant in the room; Beck, when he plays, is the iconic guitar player that everyone wishes they could look like. He's just "it". Aside the music, he's just a gorgeous, beautiful, iconic masterpiece of guitar god beauty in physical form. He and Hendrix will probably the representation of the guitar player, of today, 2000 years from now just as Michelangelo's Adam is as today.

I agree. An orchestra like this could really bring a rock guitarist back down to earth but Jeff just soars above the orchestra like it was always meant to be.
Nobody has the kind of control, the sense of timing and melody, the range of styles, the touch, that Jeff Beck has. He is the Zen master of the electric guitar.
Absolutely beautiful. The man,the music. He was so talented. He is sorely missed. He reminded me of my big brother who also played guitar. Jeff passed a day after my birthday just like my brother David. I hope they meet in heaven. My heart is broken.
This is a wonderful music in the classic arena today....and Jeff Beck interpretation is so breathless....who would believe that he had this classic style....is softness in the accords....speaks to the hearts of classic instrumental lovers....by its unique beauty......long live this this classic music In the world of music... to play with a big orchestra is not easy.....but our Jeff Beck did it......with a cry....unique person Maestro Jeff Beck....

Jeff’s such a beautiful player. The way he controls the attack of notes with his fingers, the expression with Whammy and the use of volume pot is just masterful. No one else controls the electric guitar like him. He’s in a league of his own. You realise how little you know when you listen to him play. It’s a moving and humbling experience.
Totall agree with everything you've said, this here is hauntingly beautiful, so humble so engaging it saddens me to think that his guitar is silent now, but at least we have all these great u tube clips, I visit this Zucheero clip nearly every day one of my absolute favs him Jeff and the Orchestra, music doesn't get much better💎🙏
Jeff Beck as I always says is a great voice throught the guitar he plays. No other solist in the world can play with his voice as Jeff Beck play with his guitar. Bravo...bravissimo
Jeff Beck has the sensitivity & hearing awareness of a top classical musician-evidenced here with his instrument’s relative volume to the orchestra, on the fly-(those volume swells require him to continually monitor the overall balance of the presentation-And he does this effortlessly; A consummate professional Such lyrical playing with emotion! His mum would be so proud of him, especially at this particular concert event.-Legitimate Italian opera culture. 👍
Have seen Jeff several times but listening to this, the man blew me away yet again. There is no doubt in my mind he is the top of the tree when it comes to guitar playing, nobody else comes close.
Jeff is great. I had the chance to see him once. Unbelievable experience. The first song reminded me of the tone and style of Mark Knopfler. Brother in Arms.
Have seen Jeff several times and still never enough, when you watch him play like this you realise what a great loss it is in him passing. God bless you Jeff you have given this world a gift which have enriched our lives and left an everlasting tribute to the guitar.
Jeff Beck's ability to switch between chorus and lead vocals, his empathy, which creates a magic without capturing it, what is that other than love for a world that resonates towards him in sound.
There are some artists who become more famous after they are gone. I think Jeff Beck is one of those artists, musical guitar playing artists. Incredibly diverse
Jeff Beck is the greatest all-around guitarist with his tone and overall skills to play the singing sound whatever the music calls for. When you listen to the best, it's impossible to tell who's got the best, technical skills. It is more a spiritual question of feeling, and all of the ones I am thinking of are fantastic guitarists, and it's only this spiritual touch that makes it possible to talk about it. The other best ones agree. I just say thank you all. You have given us hundreds of hours, fantastic music. Thanks.

Ride on white horse 🐴
Jeff Beck is inimitable by virtue not only of his unique playing, finger picking and using the volume control (I wonder how many of those he wears out?) but through his ideas, expressive musicality and wonderful modesty, politesse and consideration for fellow musicians. If you add that he translates all this into a magical potion of great beauty you can see how he eclipses many who are famed but become so dull when compared to his bright light.
True, his playing is pure instinctively, he is painting musical landscapes and has the ability to translate his feelings trough his guitar, no one plays like Jeff, its just awesome.
" Caruso" il brano più bello tutto il repertorio di Lucio Dalla ! Jeff Beck , ha eseguito la perfezione questa canzone , degli 80 . Bravo anche Fazio ,che ha ospitato questo mostro della tecnica del suono e della chitarra elettrica 🎸 😇🙏🎶
Beautiful song of Mr. Zucchero. I am impressed by many great guitar players in the world. But only one can make me cry. Only one can play silent, wispher and loud, can play the quitar so in the service of the music. Thank you so much, mr. Beck.
Yes, Jeff Beck, legendary guitar player~ Chills and stir of emotions for me. What a beautiful surprise to hear with Zucchero, who I discovered was a very popular loved musician the first time I went to Italy 1990, I fell in love with his "Joe Cocker" blues/rock style too. Loved when they both said "Rock" despite the rest of the Italian Jeff couldn't understand! lol
A far cry from Over Under Sideways Down, or The Train Kept A'Rolling, or I'm A Man, or Freeway Jam, or El Becko, or People Get Ready, Shapes of Things, or even Jeff's Boogie. I've been following this guy since I saw him on Shebang on KTLA with The Yardbirds, I think in 1966. No one in this world can play like him. His style has continuously evolved over the last 52 years. He has such tremendous finness but with no nonsense verve and definitive attack. He plays the microtones like they're just common place. Truly a legend in his own time, (who builds hot rods on the side). Once again he gives a masterful interpretation of a beautifully classic piece. Thanks again Mr. Beck, you've given me 50 years of purely sublime musical enjoyment.
Indeed well said. To choose "the greatest" is to welcome nothing but arguing taste. Following Jeff Beck as well since the Yardbirds, however, I've never seen / heard anyone else continue to innovate as he has. Jimi likely would have, but that Supernova is not with us. God bless, Jeff Beck is.
Amazing. Does Jeff Beck really exists or am, I dreaming? This is what you can call perfection. Never too loud, always with the right tone in the right moment, such a humble person despite his greatness. Zucchero's Dunne mosse is a great song while Lucio Dall's Caruso is a masterpiece of the italian music, with Jeff Beck the orchestra and Zuccherro's voice really an awesome performance.
In a world burdened with complexity and endless tragedy....From afar an Angel brought Jeff Beck & Zucchero onto the stage of magical music that grips listeners with amazement and emotion🎉🎉🎉
We need not care what the blind nor deaf to art and beauty say. They are the pedestrian ignorant. Meaningless lives. Thank you jeff beck for your dedication and unparalleled contribution to the beautiful and exquisite. Your music has brought tears of delight to my very soul. Thank you sincerly
So many of you have eloquently expressed such a deeply appreciated respect for Becks Greatness through many distinctions. He was a living breathing Masterpiece who will come to be recognized as the Greatest who ever Played. Beautiful song of Mr. Zucchero. I am impressed by many great guitar players in the world. But only one can make me cry. Only one can play silent, wispher and loud, can play the quitar so in the service of the music. Thank you so much, mr. Beck.
This song is not from Zucchero but from the man introducing in the begining Lucio Dalla. The title is Caruso, the second one indeed is from Zucchero
I AGREE 100% NO ONE COULD DUPLICATE HIS SOUND. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM...
The first song is Caruso by Lucio Dalla! ;)
So true about the crying. Beck is one of a kind 🎸🎵🎶
I dread the day that Jeff stops doing his stuff but I hope that's in the distant future. Long live JB!
Magnifiques interprétations de la part de Jeff, avec finesse et sensibilité.
World class guitarist.... in a league of his own!
For sure ❗
Yes, Jeff Beck, legendary guitar player~ Chills and stir of emotions for me. What a beautiful surprise to hear with Zucchero, who I discovered was a very popular loved musician the first time I went to Italy 1990, I fell in love with his "Joe Cocker" blues/rock style too. Loved when they both said "Rock" despite the rest of the Italian Jeff couldn't understand! lol
Semplicemente meraviglioso...la tua chitarra....la tua anima. Nessuno come te. Riposa in pace Jeff. 🙏
❤from Texas
Once in a lifetime indeed, thank you for the music Jeff.
I was so moved that I cried.
No one gets the tonal quality, the envelope of the sound, the emotion, out of his guitar the way Jeff does.
Jeff lived for this, an instrument in an orchestra., so melodic, dynamic, very touching. He has gone yet his legend lives on.
Beautifully said.
Me too. I'm 70. The Truth album blew my mind and I never recovered.
@@archiguitarchi Ditto :)
@@archiguitarchi same with me
I missed this one, Jeff Beck is a light that always shines
ihave been a jeff beck fan ever since the first time i heard him in 1967 and he is the greatest.
fed1126 yes i do
I totally agree.
With age + he has gotten better
The world was lucky to have him.
This is one of those Make you wanna cry kind of things.... Just beautiful.... I could listen to this over & over again Amen
To die for... respect, man, great respect to both Luciano and Jeff
Jeff can make such delicate sounds, it brings tears to my eyes. Thank you mr. Beck
How he plays and his songs are his legacy. He is truly a Guitar God. God rest his soul. I miss him beyond belief.
Lubię tego słuchać, jeden z pięk iejszych utworów muzycznych.
Au firmament des guitaristes de légende. Merci Mr Beck.😍
Jeff Beck come sempre è un grandissimo artista, in grado di condividere da signore un palco con chiunque
He's my Top Ten...of legends
What a performance. Magnifico. What a pleasure to hear the composition with Jeff Beck.
Never expected this! Amazing!
I was watching this, just stunned once again at how good Jeff is and I thought Zucchero has a really great blues voice as well.
Le meilleur guitariste du monde...
This is why I love Beck. He can play with anybody. Who else can play Scatterbrain and then play Nessus Dorma!
For sure 👍
Beautiful music, Jeff is a brilliant musician and a really nice guy with it. What a lucky audience to have been there that evening.
Genio único Jeff!! Su Strato habla ,canta, susurra, se emociona!

Please, please Jeff produce an album that is dedicated to classical music, there are so many melodic tunes that could be blessed with your talent.
