I absolutely love Lord of the Lost and I am so happy they won our NF. They are an established band from Hamburg, playing as a band since 2009 and since 2016/2017 in the current line up. They have a lot of stage expirience and even got to support Iron Maiden last year and will do so again this summer 😊 This song is on the softer side of their spectrum, so if you like I highly recommend you listen to songs like Loreley, Haythor, Priest, Blood for blood. And the Word you were looking for is scaffolding 😊 Love from Cologne ❤
You seemed to vibe witht he faster parts. When singer was almost rapping. And of course the chorus. It's a powerful song, maybe a bit too much ups and downs for me, which makes the song structure somewhat exhausting. The same with if there was no change at all. 🙂
Loving your added percussion, Urika. Yes, I think you liked the screamo. Should do well.... esp if competition from Australia's Voyager doesnt make it to Final.
Please, don't tell anyone, but.. the hair is fake. 😉 The singer does have long hair, but not that long and that shiny. So, don't be jealous. If I got it right, the ponytail is an homage to Lady Gaga. Regarding the vocals.. I think you are right.. something is missing... Maybe it's also because they are know for being a great live band. And on the Eurovision stage they can't play their instruments.. they have to fake it.. and to that they are absolutely not used to. They can't act and play as they normally would.. I don't know if the other band members could at least do some backup vocals. Btw.. If you want check out "LORD OF THE LOST - For They Know Not What They Do (Official Video) " It's totally different from blood and glitter, but it has a great chorus/choir... Not really backup vocals, but there the vocals work really well together.
The ponytail is very visibly fake, tangling and behaving as cheap synthetic. :D Blood and Glitter is very thinned down Lord of the Lost, but For they know not what they do isn't exactly their "usual song style" either...
@@emapelikanova478 I know, I just wanted to show her the choir, which sounds great in my opinion. (And I know that there is not LOTL singing. It was just about Chris' voice in combination with other voices. )
ohh that's why his hair looked so shiny hahaha! And yeah, that's the difficult part for a lot of bands in eurovision, they can't play live like they're used to, which is a bummer :/ But I'm definitely gonna check out some of their other stuff as well!!
@@emapelikanova478 but like, what is their usual style? Like, when i get asked, i just say a few songs beause they just dont really have a usual song style i feel like? (i nornally take: voodoo doll, la bomba, annabell lee, blood for blood, loreley, dry the rain and viva vendetta but like, even there you dont really have everything?)
@@dagmar0904 I take as their "usual" style albums Antagony (this has Prison, one of the most popular songs among fans) and From the Flame into the Fire (here's La bomba), since it seems to me, that they experiment more in the later albums, which is more hit or miss to me. But to others it can be their classical arrangement albums or newer albums which define their style...
My absolute favorite this year!
Same for me 🎉
