Thank you, Charlie, for showing Andrea the way to Floor Jansen and Nightwish! I hope with all my heart that your exploration together will not stop here. As you well know, this is only the tip of the iceberg. 🤘
Floor Jansen literally takes my breath away. It´s not only her voice but her stage presence is beyond anything I have seen. She was destined for the magic of Nightwish.
You should really show Andrea 'Phantom of the opera' from Beste Zangers where she performs with the Dutch Phantom Henk Poort. She asked for musical theater, and this song is iconic 😊 As always, much love from New York 🤗

Floor had been with the band for 10 months, joining the band as an emergency replacement singer while they were on tour in the US. She stayed on through the US, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, and Asia. Just weeks before this performance, she was asked and accepted permanent membership in the band. This was not a “trial” performance, this was a celebration of a choice well made.
Well Charlie, you are a true soldier of the Nightwish Army. You're doing a great job, spreading the Nightwish infection. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 🤘🫡
I’m proud to be one! It’s such a special band, and they’ve really changed my life in so many ways. AND listening to floor makes me proud to be half Dutch :) I’ll hopefully be in the Netherlands in the next year for performing and hopefully catching some in person Floor concerts.
Shout out to the drummer in this song , this is the 13th song of a 15 song set , stamina amazing hence the small breaks . I bought this CD as soon as i saw this performance and the whole concert is worth a listen
Floor gets 99% of the attention, understandably so. Can we say something about the band? Four man band. Yes I understand the track behind them...but four instruments pumping out that much sound? Impressive. And as a drummer/percussionist for 55 years (I'm 62), I cannot tell you how difficult it is to stay that much in the pocket with a double bass in 6/8 time. Jukka is the man. Wonderful reaction. Thank you
Floor studied not just at the Dutch Rock Academy but also later in the Conservatorium Tilburg theatre and opera. She also worked for some years as a voice teacher.
No, it's not Floor Jansen's trial for Nightwish. She started singing in the band in October 2012. She hits a C#6 in this song. Her range is C3-F6. Quite amazing.
I have to say that Tuomas Holopainen is definitely a genius, and I think that symphonic metal wouldn't be what it is today without Nightwish. Of course there are other pioneers like Therion, but I still think that Nightwish has paved the way for many bands in this genre.
Floor studied from 1999 to 2003 at the Tilburg Rock Academy and graduated there. After this she studied at the conservatorium one year classical singing and one year musical theatre. She never called herself an opera singer; she studied this for learning more techniques. She calls herself a "musical nerd" and loves challenges of which Tuomas, the composer and lyricist of most of the music of Nightwish, takes full advantage. From album to album he challenges her (and also his fellow musicians) more and more. At one point even Floor asked him "when I am allowed to breath?" but she managed it (if I remember well this was concerning the song "Shoemaker"). Her vocal range is insane: She can sing all from opera (watch "O mio babbino caro") to death metal growls (watch her with her former band ReVamp "Disdain" at Graspop 2010). This all together with her great stage presence and connection to the audience makes her a really great artist. And then you have to learn that there are two of them: Her younger sister Irene also is a great singer; when they both sing together it sometimes sounds like Floor is singing to herself.
Your comment “Floor can sing anything” is so right on 👏👏👍 Very few singers can actually “sing that infamous phone book” but Floor could; and she would still make even big strong burley hairy men Floorgasm and cry at the same time! It is awesome to hear, see, professional musicians give Floor and Nightwish the credit and appreciation they so sincerely deserve! And btw, you are a true Nightwish fan, lip syncing along and clearly knowing the lyrics - pretty damn impressive 👍 Tuomas is an absolute genius wrt composition but he matches that as a lyricist 🤯Blows my mind esp considering English is not his mother tongue (but then again he is Finnish 🇫🇮; they do not have “doing something half-assed” in their vocabulary!)
BTW, Tuomas Halopainen the keyboard player now writes probably 98% of their songs and he writes the orchestra and chorus parts too. Most Nightwish lovers call him the Metal Mozart.
Standing solid as a World Pillar around which the planet revolves, Floor hits "The Note," the crowd loses their shit, the band tears a hole in the fabric of Space-Time, and 82,000 people will never, ever be the same again.
Andrea, you’re going to love exploring the Nightwish catalogue & Floor Jansen - Enjoy the passion of these talented musicians! Thanks for sharing Charlie! 👏✨
Yeah she has to collaborate with the great Epica in order to be able to sing with choir in orchestras because Nightwish will never do that regrettably and I know why but I’m not going into it here
@@jonathanratliff4780 Who knows, maybe they'll do a special concert in 2026 when the band turns 30? A "One night only", just like Epica did for their 10th anniversary? You don't think they took the whole choir and orchestra with them on tour, did you?
@@darkiee69 On NW 28 year history they’ve never done one concert with choirs and orchestra live. In fact they rarely hardly ever even do Collabs which other great bands do often. Sorry not gonna ever happen… the feckless leader is just a too much of a narcissist a tightwad. Within Temptation, Africa, Syrian, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Dimmu Borgir and many others have on multiple times done this. Epica just did two more huge ones for their fourth and fifth in their history and in December will be doing two more. Have a great day
You sir are a true Nightwish ambassador 🤘I love how you sing along and get lost in this song every time. For me, it is a sign of real appreciation for this music. Thank you.
Charlie in this video you're the visual representation of how I feel when I show Nightwish to my friends haha Loved Andrea's reaction when she heard Floor hit that final high note. Thank you for introducing her to Nightwish and Floor Jansen.
That last note always hits me right in the heart. I don't what it is about it. It's like charging into a great battle or something. An emotional experience.
I know, right! I've heard this song a million times already as a Nightwish fan (though losing out every single time on tickets is getting old. It's freaking 2024, and I've never seen Floor live with Nightwish. It has become a bucket item now) and now several times with all these opera singers and vocal coaches responding to it. My emotional response doesn't change. It's such an amazing ending and rendition of this song. Epic. Btw, when she sings Monolith of Doubt with After Forever there's also a very special end that I could hear a thousand times and still love. In case you haven't seen it, there's a decent video on YT when After Forever performed live on the Dutch show Kopspijkers in 2002.
This song really came to life with the addition of the last part of the vocal melody by Floor. It is as if Tuomas Holopainen left that part out specifically to test his future singer and see if she is the real deal. A Floor performed! That ending is Majestic and one of the best build ups and crescendo's I have ever heard. (and I am a musician and I grew up with classical music and opera)
Floor took over in 2012 during the North American leg of a world tour, replacing Annette Olson who retired on medical grounds. Wacken 2013 was the first time Nightwish fans in Europe saw Floor as part of Nightwish (though many were familiar with her from her previous bands.)
Not only did Floor spend tree years at the Dutch rock academy, she did another two at conservatory Tilburg studying musical theatre and classical singing.
Nope, wrong, Floor and Nightwish knew each other well and already for more than a decade. She was the supporting act many time for Nightwish and even did duets with Mark in the past… further more, they are in the same music genre…
Nightwish Army PA Division here. To say Floor`s voice is impressive is an understatement. I`ve been listening to this band for over 15 years, through 3 female singers and never have heard a more powerful, wonderful voice. This concert was over 10 years ago and she has improved immensely. Show your friend the newer concerts Tampere, Buenos Aires and Wembley you can see her command of the audience is unbelievable. Also the Hellfest 2022 concert, Shoemaker is a good choice, she brings tears to my eyes every time and I`ve watched this concert countless times. i`m sure others have told you about Phantom of the Opera with Henk Poort, O my what a talent she is !! Great reaction and hopefully another member of our Army
Floor wasn't trying out for Nightwish at this time of the concert. She never tried out, Nightwish called her to bail them out 10 months before as their singer at the time wasn't working out. They were on tour in the US at the time. Floor hung up on the call at 1st as they called her during her sister's wedding. After that is said, thank you for introducing your friend to this great band. Love your videos
Hi Charlie, old subscriber here. Your enthusiasm to show Floor and Nightwish to Andrea is wonderful to behold! You want her to enjoy it as much as you do, that is clear. One tip: Seeing Andrea as a beautiful and great classical singer, I am very curious to hear her form and voice her opinion. She had the space to do so. But you might ad a touch more of waiting for her to speak out and elaborate. She might add details more specific to female singing. Or voice what she gets from experiencing Floor as a front woman in such a venue. The art of interviewing... 😅 I'd love to see more reactions from you two ensemble!
"This song brought me to youtube..." Me: "Oh cool, so he may know what's coming up, maybe a bit of band history" ...*proceeds to sing along to all the lyrics as well as any of the nightwish army* I'm always having fun seeing musicians talk about Floor's vocals (especially when they hear her for the first time). She truly is in my view one of the greatest vocalists to ever create metal music and they all together are some of the best musicians and live performing artists I ever had the priviledge of seeing.
Welcome to the world of Nightwish and our Valkyrie queen Andrea. Floor was not doing a trial session here. She was only filling in for the rest of the tour after the second singer was let go. She had been with Nightwish for only 10 months when this show was performed. This was her first really big show. 82.000 people.
Hello Charlie and Andrea, Nightwish Army Italian Division here. Andrea absolutely must see the video of "Phantom of the Opera" recorded live at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam (2022) by Nightwish, Floor and, as male vocalist, Henk Poort, the most famous Dutch "Phantom". Welcome to the Nightwish family !!
This is probably my favourite reaction video ever. I love to see someone like you who were once fresh to Nightwish now share this beauty to your friends!
Who wouldn't be just rocking out in the finale? Look at her after "THE note" at 14:30. She knew she nailed it, and is rightfully proud. The feeling of having 80.000 people at your feet, and commanding them from this huge stage, it must be so intense.
Thanks for reacting, guys....what a performance, right? Big props to the orchestra, the band, the choir, and, of course, Floor ! Such a difficult composition and score to master --- so many key/tempo changes.....isn't that a nod to the "Carmina Burana" in the piece ? Genius........
Singers sing what they can, Floor Jansen sings what she wants ❤once she sang the phonebook in a Dutch radioshow ❤and It sound like a real song ❤her voice just touch your soul and grab your heart ❤she is one of a kind ❤our Valkyrie queen ❤
11:41 What most people neglect to mention or think of.. this was the closing song of a one and half hour set.. outside.... Wacken Open air 80.000 adudience
One of my favourite pastimes is to watch professional singers and vocal coaches discover the glory of Nightwish & Floor Jansen. Thanks for making my Sunday morning! ^_^
Hey guys - thanks for another entertaining comment to Nightwish and Floor Jansen. What is highly remarkable in my opinion is the overwhelming consensus between all reactions of professional singers that I have seen for this song and performance so far: Floor is not only gifted with a huge amount of singing talent, she was also able to empower her talent by gaining really great skills in singing technique. Its not only about talent, its as well about a lot of work and practice to gain these skills. Nightwish always had great singers, but to be honest in 2013 I was not really that deep into Nightwish at all... but as I was in Wacken in 2013, I decided to just go to the stage and thought "hey well, it might be a nice show". What I didnt know at this time was, that there was a new singer in the band - as Charlie already stated, Floor was a kind of backup for the former singer of Nightwish and this was one of her first shows with the band. And I was in the audience that evening and nearly fell over backwards as I saw this performance. But let me say one last thing - sometimes I get the feeling, that with all admiration for Floor the band gets a little bit in the background. I still think, that Nightwish was always able to maintain a group of incredible musicians and the songwriting as well as their close to perfection performances are nearly second to none. It is a remarkable band with a remarkable discography and career. I am a little bit sad that the drummer and the bassman left the band - but they were able to find some new musicians with great skills and I still love the whole composition of great artists. And they still deliver great new songs. But - I believe that Ghost Love Score will always be one of my "all time favourites and life songs". This song made me wanting to learn to play drums (what a fantastic performance of Jukka here) and on top of that - my younger son was born in 2013 just 6 weeks after this show at Wacken and the official live version of this song came out in late 2013... and whenever the boy had any bad times, we sat down in front of the computer and listened to Ghost Love Score and he was always happy. So we do it still today (and still with him sitting on my knees 😁) as a "father and son experience" every few weeks and celebrate our passion for this incredible song and we are still happy every time listening to this song and especially to this version 🙂🥰. Thanks again and enjoy more of Nightwish (e.g. greatest show on earth). Cheers! 🙂

I like the looks on Charlie's face watching Andrea's reactions to Nightwish, like a proud dad introducing his newborn!
It’s funny seeing people adoring Floor so much. She’s great of course, but this song blew me away since the first time it came out in 2004 sung by Tarja, studio version. Never ever seen it live before. Nightwish is phenomenal, whoever the singer is
My favorite part of watching people who know about singing is the reaction to the switch right before the final belt. I am technically trained (though Indian classical, so completely different and not at a high level) and watch a lot of voice teacher / musicians reacts so gained some knowledge through just watching, so first time I heard the switch was what blew me away the most in an already amazing song
Great reaction 🤘🤘 How unlucky for those who have not yet discovered the magic that is Nightwish. Hopefully performances like this amazing piece of musical art, and the continuing efforts of reactors like yourself, many more will be made aware of the energy and joy this amazing band brings to so many.🤘🤘 Just an incredible adventure in songwriting and performance👍👍
Yeah, I was at the Nightwish karaoke experiment in Denver, the show just before Floor joined and they were without Annette, it was interesting to say the least and Elize Ryd and Alissa White Gluz who were doing backup vocals for Kamelot did their best and the set ended up fairly enjoyable, despite the extenuating circumstances. As for Floor, I'd first heard her with After Forever as I found them browsing a small music store my first year of college and got to see them at ProgPower USA on their only US tour in 2009, and man she delivered on Monolith of Doubt and Dreamflight. Her joining Nightwish is one of the best things to ever happen to my music collection.
Andrea is super chill, cute and on point with her commentary. I love what she said about learning from other singers, despite the genre. Music is too beautiful to deprive yourself of discovering new things due to genre bias/prejudice.
I was introduced to Nightwish after seeing a reaction by the Charismatic Voice (Elizabeth Zahrof), then I saw Floor Jansen in a whole new light after watching on You Tube the Baste Zangers show from the Netherlands. Where she really blew her fellow artists away with her sinnging abilities, from this same show her first performance she performed Vilja Lied ( with a metal / hard rock arrangement). She also performs a Phantom of the Opera duet with Henk Poort , which maybe a couple for you to show (Andrea). Also has some solo stuff during the pandemic (covers)...
Another soul snatched by the Valkyrie Goddess Welcome to your 1st of many( hopefully) Floorgasms !! Yea she can do it all from Lyrical to full blown growling , disney , pop , metal , rock ......all along with next level stage presence, if you see them live , i dare you to try and keep your eyes off of her. Anyway , Charlie you know where to lead her too
And this live, number 13 out of 16 songs. Mere mortals would be crawling on the ground by now..... She is definitely not human... The best live singer and performer of these times.
I've always found the 'Nightwish Army' term to be quite funny. If Floor ever ended one of her live performances with "and now we march..", we'd follow.
That was great! I'm with you, the belt part is my favorite too. It just comes out of nowhere and sounds so good. Often overlooked is how amazing the band is too. Everyone here is at the top of their game.
Nice to see Nightwish likers ❤🤘Nightwish is my top 1 metal band. I have all their albums since 1996. The master mind behind this beautiful music is our metal Mozart, Tuomas Holopainen (keyboards). And always love to see Jukka's drumming 🥁🥁I miss him in the band but the current drummer Kai Hahto is also great.
This is the best reaction ive seen in awhile. Love it. You both have a love and understanding of what Floor and others like her can do so its nice to hear your educated assessment of our Queen Floor.
The last two minutes of this performance is the greatest two minutes in music for me. Never fails to bring a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes. Only three pieces of music have ever brought me to tears. The other two were one off responses, but this does it every time. I'm not even a big Nightwish fan. Just this song and this performance, and to slim it down further, that one note.
Floor had joined the band about 6-8 months earlier as a temporary fill in for the previous singer. She was still a "stand in" at this point. This was the last big concert (83,000) of the tour. It was announced she had been made a permanent member of the the band after this last concert. Most people were first introduced to Floor as a front woman with Nightwish at this concert. Although many knew who she was due to her previous (smaller) Dutch metal bands. Floor is from the Netherlands, the rest of the band mostly from Finland. Floor is about 6'1", without heels.
This might be one of my favorite reaction videos to this song. The way Charlie subtly peeks over to her at those couple spots around and on “the note” to see her reaction is freakin awesome.
Charlie, thanks for spreading knowledge of these incredible voices to other opera singers. I hope you suggested Andrea watch Elizabeth's videos with Will Ramos. I'm 71 and I laugh when I tell people I listen to metal music and the misconception of what they think that means. This music is a natural extension of operatic and legitimate styles of singing. I could easily see stars of Broadway singing songs by Nightwish, Epica or Ayreon. I think I've mentioned Dianne van Giersbergen to you before. If not, she's a true spinto soprano. Formerly of the band Xandria and singer of Ex Libris, she is now pursuing her solo career. She works with Arjen and Joost for songwriting and producing. The song "A Symphonic Tragedy" is the best example of her voice.
Pitt I TOTALLY agree with you. My goal on this channel going forward is to share these amazing vocalisms with as many "classical" singers as possible, so we can kind of tear down the stigma about """""healthy"""""" singing and focus more on the best vehicles for expression. You're spot on. I've done some reactions with Dianne included. Tomorrow I'm streaming all symphonic metal, so this would be a great inclusion (prog metal but close enough)
That was awesome! Always great to see someone experience Nightwish and Floor for the first time, especially when they're a fellow artist, who can appreciate it even more than most of us. If Andrea is not familiar with Aurora, that would be another fun rabbit hole for her.
Nightwish Army Germany reports for Duty: Thank you for introducing her to Nightwish !! Hope to see some reactions on this Band.... Great Reaction !! I think our Queen captured another soul….:-) About Ghost Love Score: Standing solid as a World Pillar around which the planet revolves, Floor hits "The Note," the crowd loses their shit, the band tears a hole in the fabric of Space-Time, and 82,000 people will never, ever be the same again. And we still look at it in 2024 and wonder what happened that evening... Floor Jansen, First of Her Name, Queen of the Valkyries and Stonehenge, Lady of Nightwish and Protector of our Metal Realm. Long may she reign. Bow, mortal !
You know, I have seen so many performances of this same song. And still this single one feels special. As if a Muse was drawn to it, and gave it an emotional overload. Not that Floor or anyone else of the band needs that little extra. 😊
Thanks Charlie.. another soul snatched by the Goddess. For musical theatre with Henk... obviously Phantom.. Beste Zangers, Floor live shows or Nightwish and Dangerous Game
I want to say that I was at one of their concerts when she first joined the band. And i believe it was one of, if not the first time she ever hit that high note at the end. And it was amazing to see the other members of the band react to it.
I avoided this reaction for a few days so glad I decided to watch as a musical affictionado I know nothing about vocal gymnastics and know good vocalists are gifted trained and special watching her reaction was great being a singer herself thanks hope to see more

@robertdevries2045 Agreed
If I recall, I think Floor and Troy had already been made official members at Wacken but it hadn't been made public.
All the Floor's peformaces at Beste Zangers are incredible
Especially Phantom of the opera
Just for anyone who hasn’t seen it, Floor DID sing the phone book, lol:
ruclips.net/video/FtPpYbChVHs/видео.html
BTW, Tuomas Halopainen the keyboard player now writes probably 98% of their songs and he writes the orchestra and chorus parts too. Most Nightwish lovers call him the Metal Mozart.
Storyteller & Poet too!
he has always done that
Standing solid as a World Pillar around which the planet revolves, Floor hits "The Note," the crowd loses their shit,
the band tears a hole in the fabric of Space-Time, and 82,000 people will never, ever be the same again.
This is a great caption for that one moment
Andrea, you’re going to love exploring the Nightwish catalogue & Floor Jansen - Enjoy the passion of these talented musicians!
Thanks for sharing Charlie!
👏✨
Always a pleasure to spread Nightwish :)
Charlie's hype showing Floor is the same I get when I show Floor to somebody 😂❤️😁
You should let her listen to "Shoemaker"....
I concur
The pinkpop version is the best!
Oh YES, please do it 👍👍
I concur.
I was thinking that also I like Hellfest 2022
Preach Brother Charlie! Love how you keep introducing you fellow opera singers to Nightwish and Symphonic Metal.
It’s too fun not to haha. It’s like the best gateway genre for opera people.
next stabat mater dolorosa with Simone (epica) and Floor from retrospect with orchestra and choir
Floor singing Mio Babbino caro.
Thank you.
More like a 5th columist ( with Elizabeth Z).
This was song #13 out of a 15 song set.
Charlie in this video you're the visual representation of how I feel when I show Nightwish to my friends haha Loved Andrea's reaction when she heard Floor hit that final high note. Thank you for introducing her to Nightwish and Floor Jansen.
Haha it’s such a crazy phenomenon to see it for the first time. That was a blast. I hope Nicole posts hers this week too because we had a blast.
Lanternlight is waiting on you. very new NW-song. Breathtaking.
Welcome Andrea! I hope you continue your Nightwish journey, and more reactions for us!
Nice!
And do not forget Floor was maybe rather new to Nightwish, but she brought 16 years of stage experience with her.
I could never forget after forever Floor 👀
@@CharlieCalottaReacts Abd Re vamp, and Ayreon
Nope, wrong, Floor and Nightwish knew each other well and already for more than a decade. She was the supporting act many time for Nightwish and even did duets with Mark in the past… further more, they are in the same music genre…
@@janjanssen9629 But she hadn't been the singer of Nightwish for that long, about 10 months. She was the new one in the band, not new to their music.
newby here but just like how you guys just rnjoy and have respect for a fellow artist. refreshing
Welcome! When the tides rise all boats float. Musicians supporting musicians is what it's all about.
She expresses that at the end of the video :)
Nightwish Army USA (Pa) division thanking you for introducing Andrea to Floor and Nightwish .
"This song brought me to youtube..."
Me: "Oh cool, so he may know what's coming up, maybe a bit of band history"
...*proceeds to sing along to all the lyrics as well as any of the nightwish army*
I'm always having fun seeing musicians talk about Floor's vocals (especially when they hear her for the first time).
Every vocal coach I've seen watch her on RUclips wants to put her on a pedestal for her breath control alone.
Glad to see so many people being several steps ahead of me. Great reaction.
As many say : Great Singer sing what they can, Floor sings what she wants !
Been a minute since I've seen someone new react to that last note.
Love watching Charlie just gone from the beginning ( like me!)
I can’t count the times I’ve listened to this whole concert lol. Maybe my Spotify year in review will tell me
This is probably my favourite reaction video ever. I love to see someone like you who were once fresh to Nightwish now share this beauty to your friends!
love watching Charlie watch Floor.Although i am right there with him.
I lost count of how many times I've listened to this recording. I still get chills everytime, it's just insane.
Singers sing what they can, Floor Jansen sings what she wants ❤once she sang the phonebook in a Dutch radioshow ❤and It sound like a real song ❤her voice just touch your soul and grab your heart ❤she is one of a kind ❤our Valkyrie queen ❤
I've watched MANY reactions to this song over the last couple years and this is one of my favorites ❤
Great reaction! You both did a very good job!
11:41 What most people neglect to mention or think of.. this was the closing song of a one and half hour set.. outside.... Wacken Open air 80.000 adudience
Floor is unmatched, she is a godess!
Andrea seems chill, welcome to Nightwish!
Yeah good vibes all around, you’re not wrong!
Hello again, Charlie. It does my heart good to watch and listen to you introduce other artists to our beloved Nightwish with Floor. Thank you.
I can see Charlie is a fan, and fir Andrea, she's digging all the effects and vocal. Great reaction!
Nightwish is phenomenal, whoever the singer is
This masterpiece song is an epic movie to all senses
Inly because Floor 's presence
14:15 the jealous "come on!" Lol I freaking love it! I almost fell out of my chair first time I heard it.
Great reaction 🤘🤘
How unlucky for those who have not yet discovered the magic that is Nightwish. Hopefully performances like this amazing piece of musical art, and the continuing efforts of reactors like yourself, many more will be made aware of the energy and joy this amazing band brings to so many.🤘🤘
Just an incredible adventure in songwriting and performance👍👍
Floor had been 10 months performing live at this point. Seattle in Oct 2012 was her debut IIRC
With Nightwish, yes. She'd been singing and performing in a band since 1996.
@@fnglert Obviously
Yeah, I was at the Nightwish karaoke experiment in Denver, the show just before Floor joined and they were without Annette, it was interesting to say the least and Elize Ryd and Alissa White Gluz who were doing backup vocals for Kamelot did their best and the set ended up fairly enjoyable, despite the extenuating circumstances.
As for Floor, I'd first heard her with After Forever as I found them browsing a small music store my first year of college and got to see them at ProgPower USA on their only US tour in 2009, and man she delivered on Monolith of Doubt and Dreamflight. Her joining Nightwish is one of the best things to ever happen to my music collection.
floor jansen and hank poort performed the best version of "the phantom of the opera", the greatest show on earth is also a great song
Nah, that was definitely Tarja, Floor is ok, but she's not Tarja by a mile
Thanks for this excellent reaction to the epic masterpiece, Ghost Love Score.
You’re welcome!
Please let Andrea watch more Floor, would love to see those reactions.
Andrea is super chill, cute and on point with her commentary. I love what she said about learning from other singers, despite the genre. Music is too beautiful to deprive yourself of discovering new things due to genre bias/prejudice.
Andrea's voice is extraordinary too..and she is the most beautiful and charismatic lady ever..
Out here spreadin the good word, like those of us that brought Floor to you in the first place. The cycle continues
You already know!
It never gets old when professional musicans see Floor the first time. Love it.
Any time someone asks me what I love so much about music, I play this song for them.
Another soul snatched by the Valkyrie Goddess
Welcome to your 1st of many( hopefully) Floorgasms !!
Yea she can do it all from Lyrical to full blown growling , disney , pop , metal , rock ......all along with next level stage presence, if you see them live , i dare you to try and keep your eyes off of her.
Anyway , Charlie you know where to lead her too
Welcome to symfonic metal and Nightwish, our queen Floor is amazing
And this live, number 13 out of 16 songs. Mere mortals would be crawling on the ground by now..... She is definitely not human... The best live singer and performer of these times.
I never get bored listening to Nightwish, I've heard this track over a 1000 times & still find it awesome!
Emppu, Tuomas, Marko (
@@CharlieCalottaReacts Well, that's not very embarrassing. That was meant for the Jinjer reaction (though it fits here too).

Hahaha no problemo, both bands. I love that Jinjer is just such a TIGHT ensemble. Reminds me of Wintersun too
Nice to see you back my Dude
Appreciate it
Nice to see Nightwish likers ❤🤘Nightwish is my top 1 metal band.
I have surely heard this song 100 times and i still get goose bumps at that final note from her.
Charlie I still get a chuckle to your reaction to Yours is an empty hope.🤘🤘🤘😂
That moment is forever ingrained in my mind XD
That would be awesome. We finished our gig together, but maybe I'll have her on virtually for some more artists :)
That'S really one of the best reactions I saw to this performance so far, andI have seen A LOT :D Nightwish is just something else
Nightwish Army Germany reports for Duty:
