I made my own rotary tool, and I had to do tests to correct the image distortion measurements manually! Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us! I use lightburn on my sculpfun s9, and I had no idea that there was a rotary tool function in lightburn. Greetings from Brazil!
Heeellppp
I have another question everytime i flip my picture 90 degrees the width and hight flip and it makes my ingraving come out bad it look to skinny pr to wide how can i fix that from happening or from it changing width and high when i rotate photo

That’s awesome 🤩
move the rollers further apart to increase stability

Thank you so much for this. Just for myself to make sure about the material. What material is the cup you engraved on, made from?
this was stainless steel.
@@SeamsLegit thanks very much for replying.
Great video. My image is stretching once it starts etching. Any idea why?
Adjust the diameter in the program. If you tell it the wrong size circle it will distort
How are you measuring your diameter with a ruler?? What are you actually measuring? I use a caliper is that the same as you’re doing with the ruler
The total diameter which is the widest part of the circle :) and yes callipers do the same thing, just more accurately
So the rotary is not plugged in to the Y axis? My atomstack R3 pro roller needs to be plugged into the Y axis motor
It has one place to plug in then in the program just tell it that you are using the roller :)
I have another question everytime i flip my picture 90 degrees the width and hight flip and it makes my ingraving come out bad it look to skinny pr to wide how can i fix that from happening or from it changing width and high when i rotate photo
it could be the speed that you have the rotary set at. but since I havent yet had this issue I can't be sure
Okay thx
This also happens to me??? what do you do?
I wish I can set my laser outside in just afraid of thieves 😢
My suggestion. Put in o a wheeled cart. Them just drive it inside when finished foe the day :D
@@SeamsLegit that’s not a bad idea thank u
Was the material stainless?
It is stainless steel
What spped and power do you use
3mm/second. 100,% power
3mm/sec
Mime dose mm/m
Mine*
You never went over your laser settings. Power, time, speed etc
3mm/sec 100% power
😲It must take hours to engrave that showed in this video... @@SeamsLegit
