It was through you I found Bodyslims and I will be forever grateful. I have 1 lb to lose to get to my goal and I haven’t been this weight for 30 years. Thank you Carla, you’re not good or great, you’re brilliant! X

I started at 132kg and i'm at 103 now. I have set my ultimate goal to something in the 70-something range. Achievable or not, i don't know, but it's the target i'm aiming at and working for. And that's probably where i will feel i don't need to loose more. But i'm doing it incrementally. My nearest goal is to go below 100Kg, two digits. Then i'll go in 5kg steps.

⭐️ 🌟 💫 I have done the same thing. As I lose pounds I keep my original goal of losing “15 pounds” because losing only 15 doesn’t feel as overwhelming as saying or thinking I need to lose 60. 4 sets of 15 seems easier than 60. I’m already over half way there. Thanks for your inspirational videos.

🌟🌟🌟 My original goal was to get to 92kg which is what I weighed when I got married. After Bodyslims and daring to dream my goal is to get to 55kg which is the middle of healthy range. I have no idea of sizes for clothes as I don't remember being a healthy weight in my adult life so I guess I'll find out when I get there! I started at 135kg so more than half of me to lose, 24kgs down so far. I crossed my legs for the first time the other day without thinking and let out a little happy squeak. Sitting comfortably in lotus position is next!

🌟 I decided on my goal weight of 140 lbs because when I was at 120 lbs I was too thin; and at 160 I felt too heavy. I'm currently at 300lbs. I just signed up for the next BodySlims cycle starting September 20, 2023!! 😊

When I was 59kg people would call me fat. HA! I lost weight back then and went down to 57kg a UK size 10. One day I saw myself in a shop window and decided I looked too skinny. Ah the good old days 🙃. My favourite weight to be is between 59kg and 63kg more than 64kg I start to feel fat and don't fit in my clothes. At the moment I'm 81.5kg came down from 90.6kg and I'd be happy to be 75kg at the moment. Everything else will be a bonus. Ultimately I would like to get back to normal, definately 65kg which is 10 stone. Initially I'd just like to look normal so 74kg I should look normal.

I'm seeing the same thing for myself recently. This is a great video! I just started my weight loss journey 2 weeks ago, and I didn’t have a goal weight. Now I have one in mind, and I can always adjust it. I didn’t really weigh myself before, but I was weighed in February, and was unhappy I had gained weight since I last checked when I was newly postpartum a year ago. I was like 222. I haven’t weighed myself regularly, but I did yesterday, as I could tell I was losing weight and I would be happy to see that I wouldn’t be still up in the 200 pound range. I was 206 yesterday!
I am eating until satiated and am intermittent fasting for 16 hours a day, so my weight loss wasn’t unhealthy, but it seems like that is quite a lot of weight loss in 2 weeks if I had been at 222 two weeks ago (I definitely felt like I was still that heavy). I’m looking forward to being out of the 200s, hopefully within 2 weeks!
Unfortunately, my husband and I are going to start trying for our second in august, so hopefully I will be at a much better weight by then. I think I will be in a pretty good place by then.

Thank you for posting this, it’s motivating me to light a fire under me to get back on track for my goal. I made to one-derland and had slacked off the last 2 days. My weight goal is 120 pounds, it was the last known weight I remember feeling comfortable in my own skin. I’m getting more comfortable and feel more energetic . My highest weight was 228 and at 196-199 depending on day. I know being consistent is key. ⭐️⭐️🖤 when friends comment on weight loss and how I did it I tell them about your channel.

@Carla I really appreciate your videos so much. You are such an inspiration and you are also so down-to-earth and relatable. I think you are a lot younger than I am but I wonder if you think you’d ever dealt with any body dismorphia? When I look back at my health/weight journey, I think at my heaviest, I hadn’t entirely realized how overweight I was. Ironically, now that I’ve lost weight and gotten closer to my goal, I find myself at times more self conscious and sensitive about my size, which logically doesn’t really make sense. It throws me off by bumming me out but your talks are boosting my mood and approach again. Have you ever dealt with anything like this?
Thank you for all you share. 🌌🌠🌟✨💫

Hi Carla, I too am a few pounds off at the arbitrary figure I plucked as my goal weight. I have felt far more content about my size since fitting in a UK 14, I am now prob a UK12. I appreciate the goal weight that suited me a few years ago may not be the right figure now, x amount of years on. Like you, i too want to build some muscle once i reach maintenance, and I had forgotten it weighs more, so i do need to bear that in mind. Thank you for your video.

I also really like how you went about deciding how much weight you needed to lose gradually. I'm 165 cm and 86 kg, and I think 55 kg would be a healthy weight to reach, but I might change my mind in the future if I feel comfortable and happy weighing a little more or a little less. ⭐

I have about 25 kg to lose altogether and have found you so inspiring. Thank you. For the first time in my life I have a way that seems effortless to lose weight. Very sustainable. My plan is just to keep in a calorie deficit. A week ago, for the first time I went over my calorie goal, but it was easy to see things objectively and get back on track. ⭐ That's awesome, Carla! Thanks for sharing. It all seemed totally relevant, so I didn't feel that you were rambling, at all. I really appreciate hearing your thought processes about both of your weight loss journeys. I have been overweight, since I was a child, so I'm not even sure what's possible, with this body, in terms of goal weight. I'm sure there are many others in a similar position. I was 295 pounds at my heaviest and I've considered trying to get to half of that, which would be 147.5 pounds. I don't know if that's Looney Tunes, LOL. I seem to have plateaued for the past few years, so under 200 seems like a good short-term goal, for right now.

Right now I am on track to pass my goal which makes me even more motivated.

I 'm in my mid-50's. I've shed 9.4 lbs and have another 13--22 pounds to go to make it to my goal weights. I set 2 numbers for that. The higher goal weight is good and is one I weighed in the past. The second number is still within my official healthy BMI range, and will be for, ,in case I want to keep going. ......perhaps after a chosen "plateau" ....to get used to it.
I thought of your videos and it MOTIVATED me to get in my 1 hr walk today, despite being much more tired and sleepy than usual. :) I am also getting into the joy of simple healthy cooking ....and colorful salads, thanks !!!! Last summer, I saw many people talk about losing lots of weight (100 pounds or more) while maintaining their skin tone. They were doing it with IF and some with low carb so I’ve been experimenting with that and it does seem to work (I lost 34 pounds last summer and losing the rest this year now).
