I love this video. Thank you so much!! Seriously THANK YOU!!!!!! I have been searching for a microneedling stamping video for at home users from a legitimate source. I did stop my Tret 3 nights before. And then avoided 3 nights after. I used Vanicream SPF 35 mineral for a few days post needling. Then went back to my normal spf on day 4! I kept my cleanser the same bc it is La Roche Posay Toleriane line, the gentle hydrating one. And felt for my first time it was a success. I only stamped at .25 bc I wanted to be gentle and not go HAM on my face first time out😂(I have an adjustable one). But next time I will try the .50.
I appreciate the explanation upfront and the "exercise for the skin" comment. Reading up on this the first reaction is "there's no way this is healthy long-term" but it sounds like it's better than doing nothing at all.
She is right about the retinol. I'm a male and even after shaving the retinol stings, so definitely don't apply it after microneedling, will be like putting salt on a slug.
@@doctor-abby I have problem with oxalates and high dosage of vit C can hurt my kidneys - can I still use this vit C moisturizer or it would be a bad idea? Can I use something else instead? Thank you
Very detailed and helpful video. On the Banish website, the 3.0 is featured and I would like to know what is the difference in that and the 2.0 that you demo. Also, do you use the 3.0 the same way you demo - not repeatedly stamping an area but just moving slightly next to for the next stamp. Thank you!
This was very helpful! If i pull the upper eyelid skin up over the bone could I lightly do this on that area? My upper eyelid skin is what I’m most concerned with.
Oh my gosh, so helpful and you have beautiful skin by the way! Question: after about 8 uses, do you replace the whole banisher wand or just the head portion where the needles are? Its not clear on the website as it states to “replace the banisher after 8 uses” so then why sell separate replacement heads? Or am I confused about this? Thanks!!
Yes. It used to be that we thought you had to avoid any procedures for 6 months after accutane but metanalysis 8 years ago showed that you don’t have to wait as long as the procedure is not fully ablative (which microneedling is not)
Looks like my comment disappeared. I am interested in Billie Sensi body lotion because it has allantoin in it. Would it be safe on my face after microneedling or do you recommend something else? Want to try allantoin as I’ve heard super interesting things about how it promotes collagen. Sorry if this is a duplicate!
Was also interested in Honest Head to Toe Healing Ointment with 0.5% allantoin right after needling, but wasn’t sure if it would be comedogenic. (I tend to get cystic acne.)
Hello, very good Video and Information. I am using a Dermapen for first time 2 weeks ago by making circles and get really red. For 2nd use I will try by stamping with the pen and even bought an justable and manual Dermastamp for the neck. I want to go 1,5 mm on neck for my 2nd time, to See fester results. But then stop for summer because of the sun. My question is: I want to lose my little hanging cheek and little double chin. I have Dermastabilon and want to put that on that parts to work in with microneedling ir after that. Would this work? I dont want to let inject Dermastabilon. Thank you. Greetings 😊
I have a scar from an accident, I need two layers of stitches after it happened. It happened in October, is it too early to start microneedling and do you recommend it in general?
@@doctor-abby thank you! I've been using silicone patches for a while, when do you think I could start microneedling? I've also been wearing sunscreen everyday(did that already though)
Thanks for this video. I will use on my acne scars. Is there a stamp that you recommend for the thighs? I lost weight and have loose skin on my upper inner thighs that I would like to try microneedling on.
i see people using the Dr Pen which is what i have just gliding over, is that not how it should be done? Assuming not as you arent but its also a diff device so figured id ask
Dont we have to clean that device after putting it into alcohol..or we can apply just after taking it out from alcohol ..will it not affect the skin ..also is it ok to not apply any serum or anything on skin before this procedure can it be done at night ..i have really sensitive skin is it ok to do it …please reply mam
Yea, it can be used for hyperpigmentation(darker skin patches) and hypopigmentation(whiter skin). Stay below 1.0mm for pigmentation. It gets painful after the 1.25mm depth and higher

i feel this is not a selling point not expensive somthing you do at home very honest love it
I need this for my acne scars. Thank you! 😁
This video gave me so much confidence to do this at home. THANK YOU for letting me borrow your confidence 😂
Glad it was useful :)
I prefer Dr Pen, it’s less painful, I have tried stamping with the pen and it is a totally different sensation, more painful in my opinion.
Opposite for me dr pen is agony and very aggressive micro stamp at home much better I feel more in control
This video is so so helpful. Thank you!!
Glad it’s helpful:)
Thanks for sharing, Dr Abby! Great info! 😍
Glad it’s helpful
very helpful, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Thanks! Glad it’s helpful
thank you. I was a little afraid but this helped. I will use on my neck as well
Thank you so much for sharing. 💛
Can you do under the eyes for wrinkles? What is the best treatment for under eye wrinkles? Thank you!
You cannot go any further than where the eye bone ends. You can't get too close to the eye, no.
She is right about the retinol. I'm a male and even after shaving the retinol stings, so definitely don't apply it after microneedling, will be like putting salt on a slug.
Can you explain what to do days before and after doing this at home as far as using actives? Thanks so much!
Skip actives that night (vitamin c and gentle moisturizer ok) and can go back to regular routine the next day

Hi plz answer me 😢 i have rolling scars which length of stamp should I use plz answer me mam 🙏
Would start with 0.5mm
@doctor-abby thanks doctor for your kind reply 😊
Thank you for sharing ❤
I want to ask you question which is better electric dermapen or derma stamping or there are no big difference?
As long as it’s a stamping device then it’s all the same

Does this stamper have a needle depth of .5 mm for certain? I went to the website and it doesn't list it anywhere. Thanks so much Dr. Abby!!❤
Yes
Such a game changer. Faded my hubby's boxcar scars! Now his skin is low maintenance.. thanks to Banish
This was very helpful! If i pull the upper eyelid skin up over the bone could I lightly do this on that area? My upper eyelid skin is what I’m most concerned with.
You have to be extremely careful around the eyelids because the skin is so thin there
I would save up if you can for upper blethroplasty.
Excellent 🥰🥰🥰
Would you avoid the undereye if you have/are prone to milia there? Main concern would be making the milia worse.
good question, wish she answered this
I would use a nano needle .20 for soft eye area. Then microneedle .25 around orbital area. Much safer
Oh my gosh, so helpful and you have beautiful skin by the way!

The old version you had to replace the whole thing after 8 uses by Banisher 3.0 has replaceable heads
I do everything as you recommend. There are ver good results. I want to switch to twice a week. What do you think?
Usually once a week is recommended just to give your skin more time to recover
@@doctor-abby thanks, I'll do that❤️
Thank you
thanks!
Thanks! I'm allergic to alcohol is it ok to use hydrogen peroxide or anything else?
Yes
@@doctor-abby thanks!
how often would you have to replace the Banisher? won't the needles get dull after a few uses?
Generally 8 uses
How long should it sit in the alcohol
Can I use coconut oil after Microneedling Derma Stamp
Thank you
Yes
What product should you apply after to reduce indent acne scars?
Vitamin c and mineral sunscreen if going outside
Is it okay to do this while on accutane? My skin doesn't have any acne, but I am supposed to use accutane for another month.
Yes. It used to be that we thought you had to avoid any procedures for 6 months after accutane but metanalysis 8 years ago showed that you don’t have to wait as long as the procedure is not fully ablative (which microneedling is not)
Can i use in nasolabial folds?
Yes
Can I apply tranexamic acid serum after instead of vitamin c?
Yes
@doctor-abby thank you!

Yes should be fine after microneedling
Any ointment can be occlusive and be comedogenic in some.
Thank you so much!

The longer needles will give more effect but still home microneedling requires many treatments to notice significant tightening in the skin.
Will this help with 11s? Can’t do Botox.
Yes it can soften 11s. Also add a serum with argireline after
I have a scar from an accident, I need two layers of stitches after it happened. It happened in October, is it too early to start microneedling and do you recommend it in general?
Would start silicone gel sheeting at night and could do microneedling or laser at any point. Excellent sun protection too
@@doctor-abby thank you! I've been using silicone patches for a while, when do you think I could start microneedling? I've also been wearing sunscreen everyday(did that already though)
Hi doctor can i use normal niddle or safty pin on face?
Not for microneedling no. Too wide of a needle
Oh my god no.
does it also work for eyebrows?
Yes
Thanks for this video. I will use on my acne scars. Is there a stamp that you recommend for the thighs? I lost weight and have loose skin on my upper inner thighs that I would like to try microneedling on.
I'm curious about this too.
I would say the deepest needles because it's thicker skin
How do you avoid hyperpigmentation with micro needling? I know some ppl with darker skin can experience that.
Can i wear peptide gel afterwards?
Yes
Hey i did micro needling at night around 2 am....i wanted to ask if its okay to use sunscreen after 9 hours later
Yes
What happens if i dont put anything on after derma stamping my face.
(Btw im nearly 17 and i have atrophic scaring on my forehead and sides)
No need to put on anything after
Did you said it works for melasma ? Why other youtube doctors said no . So confusing 😢
It can help for melasma especially if followed by tranexamic acid or vitamin c or other ingredient that helps hyperpigmentation
i see people using the Dr Pen which is what i have just gliding over, is that not how it should be done? Assuming not as you arent but its also a diff device so figured id ask
I haven’t tried the Dr Pen but my understanding is that it’s mechanical so that would explain how it could glide over skin
I use steam from the kettle, but I'm guessing you could microwave?
How many times a month you do microneedling ?
For face usually once but if you have acne scars then can do once weekly
Can you do lips?
Yes
Titanium or stainless steel needles?
Titanium are preferable. The Banisher has gold plated titanium
Is that microneediling healing pigmentation?? Is that painful.
Yea, it can be used for hyperpigmentation(darker skin patches) and hypopigmentation(whiter skin). Stay below 1.0mm for pigmentation. It gets painful after the 1.25mm depth and higher
Which numb cream to use
An over the counter lidocaine numbing is sufficient but can also be done with none if you’re using 0.5mm needles
The alcohol disinfects but does not sterilize.
