    I have used both loreal and the ordinary peeling solution. They both works great. I haven't noticed any difference from these two. Only reason i bought loreal is because is was on sale buy 1 get 1 free which brings it to the same price as the ordinary. For people with sensitive skin loreal is probably better otherwise I would just use the ordinary.

      In a peel I agree that it is counter productive, but when it comes to regular skincare then majority of consumers do want a sensorial experience provided by the fragrance and find the ones without it boring. Even more so, many products without fragrance would have a less than ideal smell of raw ingredients, which most people would refuse to tolerate.

    I'm sort of on the fence about the peels, I remember the first time I saw some pictures of the chemical peels and learned about how effective they are, but everything else that can send your entire body into full on alert so to speak and I'm talking about any bacteria, and I know that not all bacteria is bad but you go that deep into tissue it can set you up for some bigger health problems. I am a little interested in in the superficial one the doctors used and I am also curious about if any medication can cause reactions, I don't think I take anything that powerful but I just try to be cautious and I usually ask lots of questions too. Thank you doctor's for always bringing about very valuable information and helpful information as well.🌟

I’ve been getting peels for about 20 years, and many years ago I was always told to stop tret 1 week prior to a peel. In the past few years, I’ve been told that the thoughts on this topic have changed, and tret can be used leading up to the peel (and actually boosts the peel’s effects). If you were tested for both but were only allergic to propylene glycol, it sounds like propanediol should be safe. • @StefanieMorgan-b3r
      @StefanieMorgan-b3r Месяц назад +2

      If you are prone to PIH, there's no guarantee even when in office, that you won't cause pigmentation issues. If you do anything at all, I would go very superficially depending on your goal (pigmentation, wrinkles, acne, etc ). It's integral to use a pigment inhibitor for weeks prior to any peel. I have Melasma and because I am a Fitzpatrick level 3 (typically level 3 and up can have more difficultly with PIH), I only use superficial ones and then avoid the sun like a vampire. Hope that helps ❤️

      @@StefanieMorgan-b3r Agree. They wouldn't even do a peel on me the first time I went to a salon because I didn't have a skin care routine packed with all of those pigment inhibiting ingredients and was only using SPF in summer. Now I do lighter peels more often and have an arsenal of serums to back them up.

      @@Gem-n-life Yes! Numbuzin No. 5, Naturium Tranexamic Acid, Facetheory Exoglow, Remedy Dark Spot Serum, Fade Bright by Platinum Skincare (this one I don't recommend for sensitive skin because it contains alcohol), Queen 7 in 1 Serum. These all contain more than one pigment inhibitor which I think is better than just having one. Urban Skin RX has a product called Cysteamine as well which can be safely used with any other active including heavier hitters like Hydroquinone. Hope that helps 🥰

    I had several chemical peels at my dermatologists office for my dark spots und hyperpigmentation. We did several treatments with increasing percentages every other week so my skin has time to calm down in between treatments and it did exactly nothing for me. My skin did not even react or peel or flake. Hyperpigmentation also looks the same, no result. I am wondering what they put in that chemical peel because the percentages were quite high…🤔
