We went to Burger King, ordered 50 cheeseburgers and they actually accepted all of our coupons. About a week later, our parents got a phone call from the bank. They had recorded us on the ATM video camera. They couldn't really do anything though, and we've had a good laugh for 40 years now.

The workers are required to give food for valid payment, which includes free codes. Even the owners would be compensated by corporate for these free codes. McDonald's make billions every year. This video probably just made some people want to go get McDonald's as they watched. I'm sure they'll be just fine.

I found an exploit in the Subway Subcard System that is still in the System today (I reported on that over 2 years ago). The thing is, when you have a Subcard, you can set your Birthday date. On this date, you will receive a email with a QR Code, for one free Cookie. But you can change your Birthday everyday and get everyday another QR Code for a free cookie. Also the QR Code is just a sequential number that goes up. So you can "predict" the next code and make your own QR Code. Like I said, I brought it to Subways attention, multiple times, over 2 years ago, but they haven't fixed it. Feel free to use it, I guess...

man I accidentally discovered an awesome exploit at a local mcdonalds years ago. they had those McDoubles, basically a double cheeseburger with only one piece of cheese. for some reason it didnt cost anything extra to add extra patties to the burger. and adding cheese was cheap, so we would buy two burgers, add ten patties to them and a bunch of cheese, then ask for extra bun (one free extra bun per burger) it was awesome. one night i ordered a single burger with 30 added patties. it cost me 2 dollars. it also shut down their production for quite a long time while they cooked it hahaha. after that they modified their system so you couldn't make any changes to their "value range" items. good while it lasted.

There was a period in the last few years where Panda Express had an exploit for their surveys. When you filled out a survey, you could bring in the receipt with the "survey complete" code and get a free entree, turning a "Plate" into a "Bigger Plate" for free. When you got to the first screen that asks for the order code at the top of your receipt, you could just hit "Back" in your browser, then go back to the survey page again. Doing so would restart the survey, but it wouldn't ask for the code, and it'd only give you 3 simple questions instead of 15 or so. But it'd spit out a "survey complete" code as usual. I had been using this exploit daily for about a year until they fixed it lol.
When Maccas did their last Monopoly promo here in New Zealand, the app would read the "chance cards" that came with stuff like drinks etc. and randomly generate properties or coupons on the app, and you could show the coupons to the cashiers in the app and get the free food from them. The things was, the app and cashier had no way of communicating that the coupon had been claimed and relied entirely on you manually clicking the box to say it had been used. Needless to say, I just showed cashiers the same four coupons on repeat and ate for free for like a month.
McDonald's exploit: If you go into extras menu for ice cream you can order infinite peanuts. I've done it, the manager caught on the second time when I ordered 99 bags of peanuts. Good to know if your homeless I always figured.

My McDonalds exploit was having a monopoly token for food but the cashier not asking for it, essentially making a loop of free food.
For a lonnnng time none of the Mcdonalds locations where I live actually took the coupons if you used one in the drive thru. So I just kept using the same coupon over and over again. They've started to take them more often now. However they STILL never take the coupon if you use it at the kiosk inside. INFINITE COUPON LOOP!

I found an exploit in the Subway Subcard System that is still in the System today (I reported on that over 2 years ago).
The thing is, when you have a Subcard, you can set your Birthday date. On this date, you will receive a email with a QR Code, for one free Cookie.
But you can change your Birthday everyday and get everyday another QR Code for a free cookie.
Also the QR Code is just a sequential number that goes up. So you can "predict" the next code and make your own QR Code.
Like I said, I brought it to Subways attention, multiple times, over 2 years ago, but they haven't fixed it.

Most company executives think developing a program is a simple thing that takes just a few days (debugging and all). Upset with the costs of hiring coders, they often push for the fastest development for reduced costs.

man I accidentally discovered an awesome exploit at a local mcdonalds years ago. they had those McDoubles, basically a double cheeseburger with only one piece of cheese. for some reason it didnt cost anything extra to add extra patties to the burger. and adding cheese was cheap, so we would buy two burgers, add ten patties to them and a bunch of cheese, then ask for extra bun (one free extra bun per burger)
it was awesome. one night i ordered a single burger with 30 added patties. it cost me 2 dollars. it also shut down their production for quite a long time while they cooked it hahaha. after that they modified their system so you couldn't make any changes to their "value range" items. good while it lasted.

The irony of the Germans being from Hamburg is immeasurable.
There was a period in the last few years where Panda Express had an exploit for their surveys. When you filled out a survey, you could bring in the receipt with the "survey complete" code and get a free entree, turning a "Plate" into a "Bigger Plate" for free. When you got to the first screen that asks for the order code at the top of your receipt, you could just hit "Back" in your browser, then go back to the survey page again. Doing so would restart the survey, but it wouldn't ask for the code, and it'd only give you 3 simple questions instead of 15 or so. But it'd spit out a "survey complete" code as usual. I had been using this exploit daily for about a year until they fixed it lol.

When Maccas did their last Monopoly promo here in New Zealand, the app would read the "chance cards" that came with stuff like drinks etc. and randomly generate properties or coupons on the app, and you could show the coupons to the cashiers in the app and get the free food from them. The things was, the app and cashier had no way of communicating that the coupon had been claimed and relied entirely on you manually clicking the box to say it had been used. Needless to say, I just showed cashiers the same four coupons on repeat and ate for free for like a month.
Oh my, and Maccas has also restarted their monopoly promo here in Australia. Please tell me this exploit still works, i hunger for free nugs

If you go into extras menu for ice cream you can order infinite peanuts. I've done it, the manager caught on the second time when I ordered 99 bags of peanuts. Good to know if your homeless I always figured.

This reminds me of the time me and my friends in high school figured out a way to get any sandwich for free from Mcdonalds. We did it a few hundred times before they changed how they verify emails. Even then it just took some extra time to verify them and then boom free coupon for any sandwich, any value. Fed a couple hungry highschoolers for months.
As a cyber security professional, this made me laugh my butt off.

McDonalds has some really great special offers that are more or less permanent, but if you buy most things from their regular menu it is very overpriced.
