You know what Florian, I have been using iPad (Original Pro and now 2020 iPad Pro 11” like yours) for very long and never came across a detailed analysis/review like this mate. That problem Vs Solution comparison was so amazing. I use mine for media consumption, web browsing, emailing, chatting (MS Outlook, TEAMS etc), casual use. Except for my office work (Because iPad is still not computer contrary to what Apple says), I do not touch my laptop. IPad all the way. My wife is jealous of it and complains, i spend more time with iPad than with her :) :) :) Well done mate.
Awesome Review Bro....I just have one question, what about iPad pro cameras does it perform as good as iPhone and what about lidar scanner,it seems size of lidar scanner is slightly bigger than the one in iPhone pro models
Hi there! The cameras are ever so slightly worse than the ones on the latest iPhone. Not a big deal and for the types of photos I take with a non-dedicated camera, they're great! The LiDAR topic is actually really interesting! I originally got this iPad specifically to develop for the LiDAR sensor! Surprisingly, from my testing, the range is identical to the one in the iPhones. However, the iPhone's LiDAR is higher resolution than the iPad's. Not sure if that's documented somewhere officially but I can say it for sure based on the raw LiDAR data from my iPad Pro 2020 and iPhone 12 Pro Max. I didn't get my hands on an M1 iPad Pro, so it's possible that it has the same "higher-res" LiDAR as the iPhones. Hope this was helpful! :)
Hi Ernest :) I use an Apple Watch Series 7 LTE and the personal hotspot of the iPad. Then I just connect the watch’s Wi-Fi to the iPad’s hotspot and set the watch to auto-connect to personal hotspots. It’s a bit of a hit-and-miss but most of the time the watch will just turn on the hotspot on the iPad and connect to it automatically once I walk away from my iPhone :)
