- Why would you ever use Iron Remover on a Weather Tech mat? In this video, Yvan explains....
Iron Remover
Don’t let rust or paint damage ruin the appearance of your vehicle. If left untreated, rust can spread and cause a tremendous amount of damage that can be costly to repair. Iron Remover is a powerful and effective way to dissolve ferrous oxides from painted surfaces and wheels. Iron Remover utilizes color change technology to show you contaminated surfaces during your car wash process. This car wash product is specially formulated to help remove iron particles from your vehicle's paintwork without having to do so mechanically.

I got a BMW with 4k miles from the dealership. Nearly tore my groin the first time I ever got in it after the dealer detailed it b4 drive-off. Felt like olive oil on the floor mat 😅
Yikes
Sweet! I just wandered in here. Yes!
Thanks for coming by!
Look at that old man on his knees, scrubbing the floor, while young nick sits there and critiques him 😅
Age is just numbers
This is why i subscribe to this channel!
Thank you
Great idea, thank you 👍😁
You’re welcome 😊
I'd love to see a video from you on towel management: how many towels I need, what type of towels for both personal and business/weekend warriors, and the rotation of them from use to laundry, with some economical tips!
great video idea! thank you
was hoping Nick would do the actual work, since he is a young "☕boy"...
Yvan insisted:)
Nice Job Gents!
Glad you enjoyed it
More great experience shared!
Glad you enjoyed it!
New knowledge!😊👍
Thank you.
I had a couple firearm magazines start to rust a bit on the outside. Added some iron remover and nearly all of the rust came off!
Right on!
Why not use a drill with a brush attachment? Definitely more efficient
For sure, we like to keep it basic for folks without all the tools :)
Plus, sometimes you can grab a hand brush and knock it out versus grabbing a drill and attachments. I have both options and sometimes I’m just grabbing the hand brush.
What kinda hand brush are you guys using?
@@1ahozzusually a tire brush..
Nice Work!👌
Thanks 🔥
...and that's why you're Yvan Lacroix.
lol
Can you sparingly and gently use Iron Remover on fabric if there's a rust stain? How should it be followed up to remove the chemical and odor?
Yes, but extraction may be required to remove the purple trace of the iron remover.
Is your iron remover safe on plastic cladding?
Yes
What kind of brush is that !!!
It’s a Chinese brush we were testing out, pretty sure they private label for other companies and we get all kinds of stuff sent to us all the time from different companies so we tested it that day
I just placed my first order with you for both the iron remover and the clay towel. My question is to ensure the product and clay towel are safe to use on ceramic coated ppf. I guess I should have asked before I ordered, but the question hit me later because my car has xpel ppf and the wrap is coated with a ceramic coating for ppf. I am sure that despite a ceramic coating on the ppf, iron particles easily embed in the ppf. Thank you.
We demonstrate Iron Remover with the towel in this video:) Just be extra careful in direct sunlight, work in small sections, you don't want to spray the Iron Remover on willy nilly and let it get a ton of dwell time. And as always with the decon towel...no pressure. Thanks for the support! ruclips.net/video/8mWSo6QwHvw/видео.html
@@diydetailofficial Awesome! Thank you. Great explanation video for my question. Quick beads is really cool. One final question. The ceramic coating on my ppf is modesta. They have a product called M2 Blast Maintenance Spray. I presume it can be used like ceramic gloss? It’s instructions are its a quick detailer type maintenance product for their ceramic coating.
I havent used it, but DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss will Go a great job at maintaining it.
When i open a fuel tank door i have a little rust spot from rain and water accumulating at the bottom...i sand it a little and put some chip paint and it stood for a while but got off pretty soon
Can i just spray it with iron remover and wipe it off... will it hurt the bare metal under the rust
The DIY Detail Iron Remover will not damage it, and will help. That said a proper repair is best.
Was wondering how the interior clean and protect works on weathertech mats. I struggle with cleaning and keethem looking good ( especially driver’s side that is more used).
Is it slippery?
It works great, and not slippery.
@@diydetailofficial ok, it’s going on my next TOC order.
Would interior ceramic be an option?
@steveclark2426 yes DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating is a great option
Good use case ! Typically Nick let Ivan do the work, might hurt the ugly mullet.
Thanks as always for watching
You can't smell a video🤭
Lol
Using a $30 brush with iron remover? 😬
We got those sent to us to test out :)
@@diydetailofficial gotcha, have fun then I guess 😂
Very odd comment. I guess could be said for a $10 wash sponge on a $400k Ferrari
Wait 🤔…. Use all clean to clean the rest of the mat?? I thought you had already USED all clean on all the mat and it didn’t come off… *sniff sniff* I smell some marketing BS here
We tested all clean on the rusted area, to me it was rust, Nick insisted it was dirt. Once it didn’t budge, we did it with DIY Detail Iron Remover followed by DIY Detail All Clean on the whole mat.
First!!!!
Thanks Humberto!
Can I polish my vehicle with only a rotary & DIY Gold standard polish (& panel prep) to get the paint ready to accept a DIY ceramic coating or do I require a DA also? I ask because I only have a rotary. Thank you in advance!
Absolutely, that’s all you need to prep the paint😀
@@diydetailofficial - Thank you!
@@diydetailofficial - Should I just use the yellow pad or should I also use the red jewelers pad & wool cutting pad or is that unnecessary? Thank you again!
