This is such an important scene. In age of ultron tony has no armours so logically he gets the extremis armour. this proves it! it should have not been cut

Somehow I think this scene is a bit better than the theatrical version as it shows a bit more of Maya after she was shot.

RIP Extremis armor and crazy powerful iron man suits.
Why cut this scene, but keep an amputation in battle in the final product? I may defend this as the best Iron Man film to date, but this scene should have stayed.

Because it made absolutly no sense. Instead off wasting her time with the email and last words to him, she could have crawled the one additional meter to the flower and stop the explosion and then send the email. She was far off her last breath. If it wasnt for the explosion she propably would have survived.
It was a stupid scene, if only for *+Kommo1* 's observation.

Anyone seen a deleted scene with Don Cheadle in the VP's office with the secret service agent who finds the gold "injector" device in the VP's drawer? If so, please post. I was the agent, but the scene was cut and only barely shown in early promo videos. Gutted when it was cut, but a great day on set regardless.

Is this girl suicidal or something? I mean she could've lived. I never really got her character besides being Tony's ex.
Originally she was the main villain of the film all the set up of her being Tony's ex and creating extremis was there. My guess Killian like "Mandarin" would had been a fake puppet to hide her real involvement even kidnapping Pepper would make more sense could has been jealousy. But rumor is Ike Perlmutter wanted it changed because girl action figures don't sell.

Do any of you fucking realize the absolute shit Marvel just left in the cutting table? This scene would have been the true start of the extremis plot line!! Holy fuck we would have gotten an extremis enhanced Tony just like the comics!
If marvel had kept this in, the following would have happened:
So Tony finally goes home after the events of the house party protocol, instead of going to a doctor to get his shrapnel removed, he would likely have gone and experimented with extremis.
Like the comics, Tony injects himself with a heavily modified form of extremis, this gave him the ability to directly connect to his armor which allowed extreme strength, speed and agility.
If MCU Tony did inject himself with a modified version of extremis, he would no longer need the arc reactor in his chest, his PTSD would have likely been gone (extremis also helps heal mental trauma by it's own) and he would have begun development of a newer, better and more durable suit.
This new suit wouldn't be nano tech right away, it would likely be reminiscent of the mark 46, except much more powerful in all it's aspects.
The new mark 43 would react with Tony as one, erasing any input delay, it would also be directly connected to his mind and Jarvis would likely no longer be required as extremis could use Tony's brain as a computer.
By the time civil war happened, Tony would have been able to take down each and every single hero in Steve's team within a minute or so.
In the comics Tony became so fast with his extremis armor That the extremis enhanced person that was fighting him couldn't even detect him.
So cap wouldn't be able to touch him, Hawkeye wouldn't be able to hit him, ant man would have no way to get into his suit since the new suit would be completely sealed off from the outside.
Cap would loose the airport fight and be sent with Ross into the ocean prison.
By the time infinity war rolled around, Tony would have likely fucked up thanos really bad, his speed alone would make Tony insanely dangerous and combined with the suit being hardwired into his brain, the suit would immediately know what to do before Tony even knew he needed it.
He likely would have won his 1v1 against thanos or wouldn't have been stabbed.
There is two outcomes, one where Tony would win and the other where plot would say he didn't.
Endgame wouldn't happen, Tony would have been alive and likely retire the hero gig and pass it on to Rhodes.
Either that or he would have continued without a relationship with pepper and capitalize on extremis like the comics depicted him to do.

I found this from DenofGeek’s “25 Deleted Scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies”. It was #16; seemingly grouped by movie. Their reason why: “It’s just not vital plot info. We can assume that Tony kept all the info he wanted after he eventually busted out of that bed-frame-and-cable-ties dungeon.” 🙄

this is a super creppy dead scene. Im shock how violent this scene is. She goes in a human been to a stain in tha wall in 2 seconds. Dont forget this is a family picture.
