Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War have taken their time to develop both Thor's and Loki's character in a way that was logically sound, well written and motivated, and earned. Because the show's writing was extremely poor quality and unfortunately retconned any continuity successes in prior installments while also derailing anything legitimately consistent about Loki's characterization after ep2. They didn't even know the canon they were supposed to be writing from, the director didn't even know that President Loki had also been written as genderfluid in his own printed series, and they utterly dropped the ball on Kid Loki's alleged "nexus" (hint: it wasn't what they had him say it was on screen). This is my favorite Disney+ Marvel show w/ Mando & Grogu in 2nd place. 🤗 Tom Hiddleston is such a great actor. I've cried a few times watching this series but then one scene later there's a hilarious moment that really keeps the whole tone light enough to still have the humor along with that existential dread feeling the TVA just reeks of, haha. It's so well written. I really hope season 2 will be even better!🤞
This show was rivetingly fantastic! That neither world of variants was fun but also featured the yellow ThanosCopter that Deadpool Yoinked along with the Infinity Gauntlet (comic version)
I love them both, in how they completely revamp the atmosphere into other genres and dimensions. I imagine how you’ll know a friend no fan of super hero movies at all, but you know they would enjoy any of these shows really much. With the Marvel Legends with the heroes introductions you really don’t need to see more and jump right in.. and how this might be the hook into the MCU for new fans.
The best part is he’s not even a proper variant. He was set off his normal course due to a third party meddling with time, the other variants are implied to have set themselves off the beaten path
“Please confirm, to your knowledge, that you are not a fully robotic being, were born an organic creature, and do in fact possess what many cultures would call a soul.” Feel like a broken record, but I love how the guy who thinks Vision has no soul got to write Wanda’s downfall. Sorta how it happened in comics too actually 🙃
5:41 Loki is the same age as Thor (1500 years old)and even by D.B. Cooper standards being about 40 years ago is a weird thing for Loki to say, "I was young" as if he was younger.
@@MegaDrain Loki was born 1000-ish years ago per the first movie and Thor said he was 1500 years old in Infinity War. Ragnarok was great but not very consistent.
They've always been a bit loose about their ages , so they're not tied down with the movies etc. But, it's always been that Loki is younger , but since they all age differently than us it's probably hard to tell the difference in appearance.
He and Thor were probably no more than a year or two apart per the first scene with them as kids in Thor1. As beings who can potentially live "give or take 5000 years" (Loki, The Dark World), in 2012 he was just over 1000 and for him that's still young. But I get what you're saying, by his own standards.
Loved Loki. On the outside he’s bad but it’s like inherently he’s always meant to do good in the end. I really adored how he found friends and someone he loved through Sylvie, Mobius and variants. The stakes were high like beyond the entire universe level high and the mystery of the TVA was suspenseful. Not to mention the ridiculously good OST. I miss this show so much, I want season 2 already!

They didn't even know the canon they were supposed to be writing from, the director didn't even know that President Loki had also been written as genderfluid in his own printed series, and they utterly dropped the ball on Kid Loki's alleged "nexus" (hint: it wasn't what they had him say it was on screen).
You'll drive yourself out of your mind trying to patch all the plot holes these people created.
@@muirryzgar5027 That's why you shouldn't look into the plot holes! I would know best, because after looking far into Marvel's plot holes and whatnot, I lost my mind and have since been trying to recover :'D
I have hope they'll fix and fill them, but for now, I like to live in denial and pretend they don't exist for my sanity's sake :D
“Us as a child, us in the future, and us as an alligator.”
Oh I get it, some child that not a lot of people know, Allegiant General Pryde, and a random alligator lol.
(Btw the kid Loki has also been rumored to be played by none other than Finn Wolfhard himself!)
that is definitely not Finn Wolfhard
It’s Jack Veal, googled it
@@RhinoBuckeye yeah i know. it's that not a lot of people know him until now
@@banjobill8420 it’s a rumor.
Loki is such a hilarious character I love his sarcasm so much and I hope he has it in season 2
"I'm gonna burn this place to the ground".And Loki did it.😢
“I beg your pardon”
Hands down, Loki’s most iconic quote.
"Do a lot of people know they're not robots?
.....what if I was a robot and didn't know it?"
Watching this supercut just makes me want to watch the series all over again. The repartee is just SOOOO good.
i recently rewatched it and i loved it!
Loki just dismantling and mocking the whole time keeper thing before even the reveal is why hes so smart and hilarious lmao. "oh those lazy timekeepers what are they waiting for"
"I don't want anybody out there to forget what you are."
"Oh your only hope of capturing a murderer?"
"no, A COSMIC M I S T A K E . "
He developed greatly in this series
One of the best in all time
Thor would love this kind of loki
Sad that he even has loki's tattoo on his back
Making Owen Wilson Loki's work buddy was the best decision Marvel made since giving Robert Downey Jr chance as an Iron Man.
IRONICAL TRUTH - Loki is more loved and popular than Thor.
man i fucking love thor though
I loved him since the first time he appeared
I really wish Loki was using more magic trough the season. We rarely saw any of his illusions, or clones etc, and I think it's a hug missed opportunity....
He uses more of them in the second season
Considering how long Loki has lived and how much he would have spoken, that stack of paper is considered really thin
I'm 28 and I'm 100% certain that stack wouldn't even cover half of my lifetime.
Here after season 2 finally after crying now only loki can make me smile again
This show became my entire personlity for like- a month-
😂
For me it was like a year..
"i was just standing up to make a point 😡"
"I'm sorry, go ahead"
"But I won't be as meaningful now 🥺"
well... Loki being a frost giant and the God of Mischief definitely makes him a good few millenia old, so why does the stack of everything he's spoken in his life so small??
Loki sometimes acts like a literal child 🤣
"why does the stack of everything he's spoken in his life so small??"
Maybe he repeated himself a lot..? :p
Mischief is childlike
Ah....and mischief is a youngster's delight
This series was really underrated. Tom has a wild way of making you HATE him one second, then drawing you back in… Can’t wait for Season 2.
What amazing and wonderful series. I've always loved loki.
"Every time I start to admire your intelligence, you say something like that." 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loki Loki!
Stands on a rock to introduce himself. What a diva.
I wanna say I really appreciate your editing on this. Rather than showing clips one scene at a time you divided them to make it more entertaining for a video. Great job! Your editing made this video extremely enjoyable! Well done once again!! :D
thank you so much for the kind feedback. it means a lot ❤️
Bingo
"Please verify that this everything you've ever said". XD That part had me dying.
I loved Loki so much. I watched it twice. I had no idea the series was renewed for a season 2. That’s such amazing news. I’m so excited for season 2.
i watched it twice too. once when it came out and once this summer
His character development is so satisfying to watch
Loki's smile at 14:10 is priceless LMAO 😬😬😬
Loki and Tom Hiddleston both need to be protected!💚
Why does Hiddleston "need" protection?
relax clown@@l.a.3479
I love how TVA Loki says what he could do before Ragnarok happens and it is actually all they had to do to make it happen
Loki is so cute when he slept in that scene, he is epy and he's sleepy ❤❤❤❤❤
Loki is the best, glad they gave him his own show.
Surprising since the one in the show is a variant from 2012.
Loki's Memory: If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now.
Owen Wilson: 🍺
Loki: No!
🤭😆🤣😂
This is my favorite Disney+ Marvel show w/ Mando & Grogu in 2nd place. 🤗 Tom Hiddleston is such a great actor. I've cried a few times watching this series but then one scene later there's a hilarious moment that really keeps the whole tone light enough to still have the humor along with that existential dread feeling the TVA just reeks of, haha. It's so well written. I really hope season 2 will be even better!🤞
Wait I just realised Loki said "Oh believe me you can smell the colone of 2 Tony Starks" like holy shit he knew.
loki is something else
@@MariaTheMarvelVideoEditor oh I'm sorry I'm just seeing this comment. I completely forgot this and I'm again surprised.
I literally can’t wait for season 2, I can’t wait to see more of his mischief :D
oh me too!
This show was rivetingly fantastic! That neither world of variants was fun but also featured the yellow ThanosCopter that Deadpool
Yoinked along with the Infinity Gauntlet (comic version)
This video shows that Loki is the best always.
I really respect the amount of time and effort this must have required
Thank you so much, I appreciate it more than you can imagine! ❤️
“WHATS A FISH” GETS ME EVERYTIME 😭
WandaVision was great but LoKi is on another level, cant wait for S2
I love them both, in how they completely revamp the atmosphere into other genres and dimensions. I imagine how you’ll know a friend no fan of super hero movies at all, but you know they would enjoy any of these shows really much. With the Marvel Legends with the heroes introductions you really don’t need to see more and jump right in.. and how this might be the hook into the MCU for new fans.
Damn, I wish I had standards that low. Would've been nice being able to enjoy either show's atrocious writing...
The best part is he’s not even a proper variant. He was set off his normal course due to a third party meddling with time, the other variants are implied to have set themselves off the beaten path
i like how Loki just smashes the cup and says "Another!" like Thor
“Please confirm, to your knowledge, that you are not a fully robotic being, were born an organic creature, and do in fact possess what many cultures would call a soul.”
Feel like a broken record, but I love how the guy who thinks Vision has no soul got to write Wanda’s downfall. Sorta how it happened in comics too actually 🙃
i love lokis iconic hair flip everytime he falls lol
5:41 Loki is the same age as Thor (1500 years old)and even by D.B. Cooper standards being about 40 years ago is a weird thing for Loki to say, "I was young" as if he was younger.
are they the same age? i always thought loki was younger
@@MariaTheMarvelVideoEditor That scene in Ragnarok where Thor tells the story of Loki stabbing him, he says they were both 8.
Loki was my second favorite work of phase 4
"what if I'm a robot and I didn't know it" Ahhh! Loki😂😂
Watching this makes me want to rewatch Loki again, and I will!
now i want to rewatch it too!
What movie is that????
@@lunavaleria1528 “Loki”, Marvel’s tv series in 2021. 🤭🤭
Only when we thought he isn't coming back after Thanos killed him... he came back!!!
kinda
Actually Loki is dead by the hands of Thanos. The Loki we see in the series is actually 2012 Loki.
@@ricardoortiz4870 ya that's why maria said kinda :)
Oh, I know he was coming back. It was too early and quickly in the movie for him to die. I just wasn’t sure how they were going to bring him back then I saw the part where he escapes.
I’m still holding on the hope for Gomorrah and Window too
"ANOTHER!!! *smashs the cup on the ground breaking it*"
Loki, I know you might not wanna hear it... But you're actually like Thor..
STOPPP WHY WAS LOKI'S LIL, "hey! hey! hey!" SO ADORABLE!?!?!
I love that he was considerate enough to ask for Casey’s name before threatening him
Him actually speaking in Latin, Latin of all things as a Nordic god made me lose it awfully
“ANOTHER!” *throws glass* just like his brother
Loki is carrying the MCU (literally)
2:25 “for the record, this does seem like a ‘killing me’ type of room” made me laugh so hard
Loki has always been the best character in the MCU. He never fits in anywhere, so you can you him in any story.
Watching those clips after s2 finale allowed me to connect the dots and everything makes sense now .
Happy that my video helped :)
I still think the pile of everything he ever said is too small
way too small for loki
Maybe they where only capable of bring what he said in the last two days? 😅
@@nayelivalenciana2304 that or the print is really, really, really small and the paper is incredibly thin.

The thing I love the most about this show is that it's the only one in recent memory with a big reveal that actually paid off...
Best MCU series by 1000. Never laughed so hard, was so invested, in any Marvel series. Best writing of any Disney+ show!!
Marvel shot themselves in the knee with this show.
Loki set a high standard of quality, everyone was expecting something mind blowing, and got Shang-Chi, Eternals and She-Hulk :D
Well I guess not every project can be great.. 🤷♀️
Shang chi was good and eternals could have worked as a series, even as a movie it wasn't the worst. I'm not defending she hulk tho XD
