One of the things I think is funniest about lots of movies' ad-lib moments is that what you see in the finished picture often isn't the actual ad-libbed moment. They do an ad-lib, the director likes it, so they film a full proper rehearsed version of the scene with the ad-lib. The most famous of these is the "Indiana Jones shoots the swordsman." Yes, Harrison Ford had the runs, and pulled the gun to pretend to shoot as a gag to end filming the scene quickly; then went to use the bathroom. But that wasn't the filmed scene you see in the final movie. Spielberg & Lucas liked the joke enough that they then properly did the scene. (The prop gun wouldn't have fired in the originally-planned version, so it would have been a static prop, not a blank-firing pistol.)

One of the last scenes in Civil War.. Stan Lee: Are you Tony…Stank? Rhodie: Yes, this is Tony Stank! You’re in the right place! (Then Don Cheadle ad libs with): Never, never dropping that, by the way. Table for One - Mr. Stank! Please by the bathroom. Absolutely brilliant. It was so good that even RDJ cracked up in the scene. 😂
Hey folks.. This is one of the best ones you have done ☑️ in a while , in my humble My opinion …. Great job…. Who ever thought of this.. gets kudos !!!!
When Rhodey and Nebula are on the planet to acquire one of the Infinity Stones and Rhodey meets dancing Peter and thoughtfully says, "So... he's an idiot..." Cheadle nailed it! Gets me laughing every time!
Disagree. Batman says that line as an introduction. It's not Bruce Wayne as "himself" saying, "I am Batman." He's in costume and is talking to a perp that just asked, "Who are you?" Tony says it as a confession and ownership. Confession that, yeah, he did the things and that the PR story was BS. Ownership, because it's him admitting to himself and to the world that Iron Man is his new persona and purpose.
"I am Iron Man" really is the perfect bookend to Tony's character. It was the perfect end to an era in the MCU, though I can't wait to see what they do with RDJ coming back as Dr. Doom. The only thing that tops that is the potential interaction between Deadpool and She-Hulk in the future, whether it be a movie or episode, where one of them breaks the 4th wall, and the other steps in and says something like, "Wait, you see them too?!?"
Benedict Wong was one of the most underrated characters in the MCU. I hope we see more of him in more active roles doing cool stuff as sorcerer supreme.
No, Thor smashing the mug was not improvised. It was a whole running thing in the movie that was mostly cut. His deleted introductory scene at the start of the film was him on Asgard drinking from a goblet, and then throwing it into a fire and shouting "Another!". Then he repeats this process in the diner. Then he later feels bad about it, and asks Jane if he can have a mug from her place, and gives it to the diner owner to apologise. It was to show character growth. They just cut most of it.
These ad libs make the MCU characters feel more natural which is probably why the humor doesn't feel forced like it did in the last (hopefully) Aquaman movie. Imagine if these were all done overly serious; that would be fine for intensity, but certainly not for endearment. Thor: Love and Thunder...now that's a different story (yeesh).
As much as this channel makes me smile and laugh…. Nothing today or for the next week or month will make me smile more than about 30 minutes ago when I found out my gf finally got to go home from the hospital after nearly 5 months having breast cancer. Thank you Lord! ❤️

I didn’t know that ALL of these scenes were improvised, WOW!
The Andrew Garfield "I love you guys" improv is just really really sweet
👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 I loved this video, and I would have loved it even more if you had finished the story about Tony's line "I am Iron Man" in "End Game."
Best unscripted moments in the MCU. So ... basically the Robert Downey Jr. Show? 😄
Not crediting the magic of saying “I am Ironman!” to Black Sabbath and Ozzy is insane. We all know why it’s badass.
"I am Ironman" is basically a reuse of the improvised "Batman" line..."I am Batman."
Disagree.
Batman says that line as an introduction. It's not Bruce Wayne as "himself" saying, "I am Batman." He's in costume and is talking to a perp that just asked, "Who are you?"
Tony says it as a confession and ownership. Confession that, yeah, he did the things and that the PR story was BS. Ownership, because it's him admitting to himself and to the world that Iron Man is his new persona and purpose.
Rdj is the king of improvisation
Also bring back Madisyn.
There’s NO WAY “Another!” was improvised. 🤯
As much as this channel makes me smile and laugh…. Nothing today or for the next week or month will make me smile more than about 30 minutes ago when I found out my gf finally got to go home from the hospital after nearly 5 months having breast cancer. Thank you Lord! ❤️
Why is gamora tony stank hey squidward
If Drax Saying "why is Gomara" was unscripted its brilliant
