Actually, when Rachel asks Chandler where they should go for coffee and he responds with "Where?", it's because during the filming of that scene, the "Central Perk" set was in the process of being either partially or completely demolished by the production team. My 2y/o so was trying to take a box thru the open baby gate in our kitchen. He couldn't get it to fit bc he wouldn't turn it to its side.. Matthew knocking the drawer into his head is by far the best blooper. Jen’s reaction is real because she’s covering up her laughter which makes the scene even funnier! 😂
A couple of my favorite lines were said by Chandler… 1. The one where Monica gets out the photo album to see Chandlers girlfriend from camp. She asks if he broke up with her and Chandler says, “No, we’re still together” 2. The one where Monica and Chandler hear Ross playing bagpipes from across the street. Monica asks, “Why is your family Scottish?” Chandler answers, “Why is your family Ross?” Soooo funny.
Don't forget when Ross and Monica found out they had kissed when she and Rachel attended a party Chandler and Ross had at their college dorm. Monica: "You were my midnight mistery kisser??" Ross: "You were my first kiss with Rachel??" Monica: "You were my first kiss ever???" Chandler: "What did I marry into??" 😂😂

Friends was ahead of its time - content, camera angle, and effort wise. Nothing has been made similar to this quality before or since. It’s too bad future generations won’t understand just how groundbreaking this show was.
Big Bang Theory came close .. tho too bad the female characthers weren't up to par as iconic & well played as the male characthers .. Like all the 4 male characthers were so distinctively funny & well played but the female counterparts were 'meh' .... Sheldon Cooper hard carried the show unlike Friends ... where 6 characthers are well played each one is outstabding is hard to pick one as favorite ...
@@voneychiu2828 I'll throw How I Met your Mother in there too, as well as Modern Family - both and TBBT came close to Friends. Only close though - but not on par.
When you consider that each episode took at least 5 hours to film, and the writers and cast would re-tune and improve each line for the audience, reshooting until it was just right, it's no surprise that the end result was such an wonderful show. The amount of work and effort everyone put into every moment made it the great series it was.

It's funny you say that, I haven't been able to watch the series after his passing and I was watching every day, it just doesn't feel the same, but I will watch it soon, its the ultimate comfort show
I always appreciate Matthew Perry's end of series "sure, where?" coffee line because it brings me laughter in my tears as they say goodbye. Otherwise it would just be pure tears and sadness. I'm glad he always bright the funny, even though they all had their moments, he's always been the "funny" one and my favorite. It's too bad the struggles he went through in his life. But I'm glad he had the amazing support of the other 5. Without them who knows where he'd be today.
I have seen all 10 seasons of Friends a number of times and still laugh. Matthew Perry was always my favorite. Sad that he never ended up doing anything as big as Friends again. Still love this show
Have you ever watched The Whole Nine Yards and The Whole Ten Yards? Pretty good, funny films starring both Matthew Perry and Bruce Willis. If you haven’t seen them I’d recommend them.
I forgot that Billy Crystal and Robin Williams were in an episode. Also, it would be a miss to say RIP Matthew Perry. He and the cast are a huge part of millions of peoples lives. He brought us joy and sadness in Friends. We will miss him. But we will forever be grateful for his portrait of Chandler Bing. God took a good one from us 🙏

If I had to pick one episode I could not because they were all hilariously funny Nice to hear they were true friends off set Rest in peace Mathew Perry 🙏🏼💖💖💖💖💖 This is the one where your hearts and ours the fans are definitely so very broken 😔💔💔💔💔💔
My favorite Chandler scene has to be the bathtub scene, with Monica going under water every time Joey came in! The whole thing was comedy gold - but the coup de gras was when he was ordering the chicken and he said, "... and a coke - AAH!!! - Diet coke - !" Like he was kicked, or pinched, or something - he did that SO perfectly!!
The “PHOEBE” “why does she keep making that noise?” one is DEFINITELY one of my favourites because that moment connects so seamlessly. It’s like a string of really funny moments. First it’s about Amy getting Emma’s name wrong again, being corrected by Ross, Amy interpreting it as him asking for Phoebe, Phoebe correcting Amy AGAIN and Amy finally believing it’s some weird noise AGAIN, and that it’s the second time that Phoebe’s made “that noise”. And to top it all off that’s the majority of Amy’s first impression of Phoebe. It’s just one of the funniest moments imo!
Matthew Perry actually requested to have the last line in the series. “Before that final episode, I’d taken [co-creator/EP] Marta Kauffman to one side,” Perry wrote in his memoir titled “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing”. “‘Nobody else will care about this except me,’ I said. ‘So, may I please have the last line?’ That’s why as we all troop out of the apartment, and Rachel has suggested one last coffee, I got to bring the curtain down on Friends.”
The lamp, the mocking of Paolo, the prank on Jen, the bagpipes - David was the best actor out of the cast, period, and he is a comedy genius! His quick wit, the perfect lines delivery, his perfect comedic timing, creativity, and movement when making up his hilarious and brilliant expressions and poses were second to no one, sorry Matthew Perry. Perry had sarcasm, but David had everything! The lamp bit is so simple, yet so brilliant (and sorry but Matthew holding it would be a natural reaction of anyone who would be given the lamp, so it's nothing, instead the act of giving Chandler the lamp in the first place is brilliant because that started the whole joke, and that was David!). David was the greatest thing about the show!
Matthew Perry’s line asking,”Where?” is so much more significant to them because the set of Central Perk had already been taken down. You can see then exchange looks about it. This might have already been explained but I just love that little nugget. He was so inspiring. His comedy writing always shown through!
According to his autobiography, Perry asked Marta Kaufman if he could deliver the last line, which he had already come up with. Ross' reaction is real.
One of mine is when Joey & Ross get locked out up on the roof & have to climb down the fire escape. Ross "Oh, my ankle" when he jumps,m then, "Ooo, a quarter" which is on the ground after he & Joey did heads or tails.
I’ve been a big Friends fan since I was 14 and I’ve seen every episode at least twice. There’s still a few scenes that I get emotional about every time watch and one of those scenes was when Ross says Rachel’s name instead of Emily’s. I’m not a very emotional person honestly but that scene still gives me chills.
@@Tattedlady60 oh yeah, that’s a good scene too. Another really good one is the one I call the lobster episode lol (season 2 episode 14) where Rachel watches the old prom video then walks across the room and kisses Ross. I just love it! I haven’t seen it in a while but it’s one of the best scenes of the whole series imo.

Quietly, I remained until a tank of gas was sparking as the car dragged the metal across the concrete / blacktop. You are loved by us, we naturally and instinctively have your backs as we are all family now!!
i did not realize richard branson was so good at improv. "why is no one else here wearing one?" "...they're all tourists!" perfect lol
My favorite guest line.
Chandler was the one character that I related to. So alike I'm so many ways. Matthew definitely made the show. Rest easy Matthew you will be missed greatly!
Same!
I've gone from watching clips with happy nostalgia now watching them with mixed nostalgia with sadness... rip Matthew Perry 😢
RIP Matthew Perry. His character along with Monica were the more mature members of the cast, compared to Joey and Ross. Prayers to the family.
Christina applegates Emma-phoebe name situation is hilarious to me. “Why does she keep making that noise” 😂😂😂
Plz reply to acknowledge that I've made you aware the scripts could be written on anything, including the dinner bill they both thought the other pick up spot.. It's forever!
RIP MP. The last to speak, and the first to go.
We will miss you.
Watching this made my heart smile. I hate that Matthew Perry has left this earth way too young. Such a funny man who has left behind more fans than he probably ever knew he had.
💔😥😭
RIP Mathew Chandler Bing Perry, You were funny and brilliant. What a guy! Rest easy brother 🙏❤
R.I.P Matthew Perry you will always be remembered for all the people you helped. And an amazing actor…. Thank you for the good times, the comedic timing, and the improvisation. Could you be anymore perfect..?❤
The drawer hitting Chandler's head and Ross handing Chandler the lamp have always been my favorites. 😆
The lamp cracks me up every single time, they are both so hilarious in that scene 😂
@@vickieden5022 agreed!!
Mine, too. That face he makes is just hilarious.
yes, the lamp, is my favorite! David was a comedy genius for improvising that!
Never thought I could experience the loughs of joy and tears of sadness at the same time. R.I.P Matthew Perry!
"It tastes like FEET!" is one of my favorite lines, in one of my favorite episodes. 😂
I love how Joey just kept eating it "What's not to love?" 😂
Chandler hitting himself in the head with a filing cabinet drawer was a blooper that made it into the show and one of my favorites
When you realize Matt had the first and last lines of the entire show. 😢
What was the first line of the show. I've watched so many seasons of reruns, I dont remember. It's just always on.
@patriciasisson84 "There's nothing to tell! It's just some guy I work with" - Monica talking about Paul the wine guy. Not Matt
The first line was Monica
friends will always be my comfort show. i will never get tired of rewatching all versions i can find
David is just perfect, he deserves more acknowledgment than he got. Chandler is the best, so witty and good at comedic timing
No new teeth appts yet.
I love the cheesecake scene with Chandler and Rachel when Rachel drops hers on the floor! 😂😂😂
And then joey casually dropping in “what are we havin”
@@iriswaldenburger2315
Apparently Joey brought a fork everywhere just in case, LoLoLoL 😂😂😂😂😂
that is one of my top 10 favorite episodes.
"U have to stop the qtip when there's resistence!" Never gets old 🤣
I think that's why it was such a hit.. that chemistry was unmatched and even till today
I imagine robin williams and matthew perry are now exchanging funny quips in the afterlife ❤
The Chandler moments hit different now.
Matthew Perry RIP ❤
“No you said it wrong you’re stupid” never knew it was improvised 🤣🤣 the line from Friends I still use. We all miss you MP
Seriously! How do they manage to not laugh at their hilarious improvs? 😂❤
Ross imitating Paolo is hillarious honestly 😂😂😂
I loved all the characters. Chandler was my absolute favorite. So much so I named my puppy after the character. My puppy would do some crazy jumps when excited. Just like Matthew Perry’s brilliant character. I’m rewatching the complete series. In honor of Matty❤
It's funny you say that, I haven't been able to watch the series after his passing and I was watching every day, it just doesn't feel the same, but I will watch it soon, its the ultimate comfort show
Absolutely number 1 Matthew saying which coffee shop. Best way of ending the show. As well it was his last joke he said.
The best is Ross "falling" down the stairs. Aniston's reaction is even funnier when you know she had no idea.
❤️ Friends ❤️
I will always lol remembering Chandler, Joey and Ross discussing Joeys tailor.....
"Yes, yes, it is..... In prison!" 🤣
❤😂Yes, this one AND Phoebe say, “My eye, my eyesssss!”
The take away from this is the Matthew Perry is a brilliant comedic actor
RIP Matthew Perry... thanks for everything 🥺
Joey getting water thrown in his face, gets me every time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"And you left the toilet seat up you bastard" 😂😂😂😂
RIP Great Matthew Perry 🥺🥺🥺😔
Chandler taking the lamp will be forever my favorite lol. 😂
I love this show. It's always been one of my favorite shows and I always looked forward to seeing each episode when it aired.
I have seen all 10 seasons of Friends a number of times and still laugh. Matthew Perry was always my favorite. Sad that he never ended up doing anything as big as Friends again. Still love this show
He didn’t remember any of it either. He was on so many drugs while he filmed the show
@@kerrycoyle1906 He did remember most of it. It was just somewhere between seasons 3 and 6 that he didn’t remember.
He had quite a lot of success as an actor even doing films with A list stars.
@@SmittnKittn007 That’s a lot
Have you ever watched The Whole Nine Yards and The Whole Ten Yards? Pretty good, funny films starring both Matthew Perry and Bruce Willis. If you haven’t seen them I’d recommend them.
We gonna miss you chandler bing 😢.. rest easy.. ❤
I'm going to miss Matthew Perry
The comedy, acting, and ability to connect with us is priceless.
RIP Mr. Perry, you are, and will always be a true friend and talent.
May you be at peace, and you truly have had the last laugh. ❤
God took a good one from us 🙏
One of the funniest shows of all time the whole cast was amazing !! Each of them truly fit their character
Thank you for the laughs !! If I had to pick one episode I could not because they were all hilariously funny
Nice to hear they were true friends off set
Rest in peace Mathew Perry 🙏🏼💖💖💖💖💖
This is the one where your hearts and ours the fans are definitely so very broken 😔💔💔💔💔💔
Not having Williams and Crystal improvising for a lengthy time but instead following a script would have been a travesty! 😂❤️
So Matthew delivered the last line ever of Friends of the script... RIP you legend
Christina Applegate was extremely funny in Friends. She definitely deserves to be on the list. I pray for her now that she's been diagnosed with MS.
That's Selma Blair not Christina Applegate
@@lucindamiao722 actually both were on friends. Both have MS.
@@mojo3067 sad

Both! And what's MS?
@@karlimo4034 multiple sclerosis
David was the greatest thing about the show!
god i love this show, i’ve seen every episode so many times and it never gets old
The last line of the show was for the king of comedy! RIP Matthew 🙏🏽
Matt and David. Absolutely brilliant. Just superb.
Chandler was always the comedic genius in the show. His character was written perfectly. R.I.P
Can't believe Matthew Perry is gone! Heartbreaking!
Rest In Peace Matthew Perry, our favorite jokster.
Matthew Perry’s line asking,”Where?” is so much more significant to them because the set of Central Perk had already been taken down. You can see then exchange looks about it. This might have already been explained but I just love that little nugget. He was so inspiring. His comedy writing always shown through!
That last laugh line hits harder now... Good night mr Perry, we'll try to keep it down.
i love how jen aniston is caught breaking in multiple scenes that aren't bloopers.
As an italian guy, that Paolo line meant "Look at the moon, look at the stars, look at all the most beautiful things"
Thank you. I appreciate you letting us know that.
@@moshegelb7353 thanks
@@ninatlm7282 ur welcome :)
"Look at the moon, look at the stars, look at the beautiful things."
Guarda tutte le cose belle = Look at all the beautiful things
May Matthew Perry rest in peace.
The date sabotage "MONKEY LOVER!!"part still gets a big laugh out of me.
Can't believe how the cabinet smacking was accidental. The delivery and timing of it was just too perfect.
"Would you please, just ..."
Of course the lines by Williams & Cristal's lines are improvised. They are are the masters of improvisations.
According to his autobiography, Perry asked Marta Kaufman if he could deliver the last line, which he had already come up with. Ross' reaction is real.
Currently rewatching Friends for like 100th time.. love them ❤
My favourite was Phoebe singing along Ross's bagpipes, I could not stop laughing
It might not be a blooper, but anyone who has ever moved a couch up or down the stairs has heard, "Pivot!"
Friends sure is an unforgettable series. The cast members all have remarkable careers in show business.
*MY FAVORITES:*
1. Billy Crystal and Robin Williams
2. Chandler vs. the cabinet drawer
3. Rachel's reaction to Ross's bagpipe playing.
One of mine is when Joey & Ross get locked out up on the roof & have to climb down the fire escape. Ross "Oh, my ankle" when he jumps,m then, "Ooo, a quarter" which is on the ground after he & Joey did heads or tails.
I don’t know why but that Billy Crystal Robin Williams scene is my least fave moment of the whole show, i can’t stand it. Only scene I skip.
@@danjc9783 same. I HATE that scene even though I love Robin Williams. I also skip it every time
The Robin Williams and Billy Crystal one is great! Nobody knew they were going to be there. They were hilarious!
Idk how I never noticed him handing chandler a lamp😂 I rolled seeing it for the first time🤣🤣🤣
Me too!! Glad I’m not alone.
"Sure , where" there're three reactions in this scene : you laugh , you cry and you smile
I ALWAYS cry when Monica attempts to propose to Chandler & then he takes over.
For me, when Rachel and Ross broke up is one of the most sad episode in Friends
