So proud, I have added another stitch to my arsenal. I am working this up as a scarf in a salmon color. So far it is stunning. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful help. I couldn't do this fantastic creative craft without you. I think before it is all said and done I will have learned everything on your channel. Love everything you do. You have the greatest patience and such a comforting way of teaching me. I always feel confident that I will learn it and I do, thanks to you.

so inspiring to watch. I'm a beginner and your video is so good. The camera angles are just right, wool colour and hook make it easy to follow. You taught me trebles, now I'm starting border. thank you.

    Chain in Multiples of 8
    Add 7 at the end
3rd ch from hook Dc (UK Treble)
Then Dc across foundation row to the end, including the slip knot, ch 2 and turn
    Row 1
FPdc (UK FP treble) on the next dc post, after your ch2.
Do it on the next 3 dc posts, so you end up with a total of 4 Fpdc’s after the ch 2.
Next do BPdc (UK BP treble) on the next 4 dc posts to the end of the row.
Keep alternating between FPdc, and BPdc
On the last, 2 chain post, do a half Dc in the top of the 2 chain post, this ends row 1
    Row 2
We are doing the opposite of Row 1, but looking at the work on this side, its actually the same as the row below.
    Ch 2 and turn
BPdc around the next dc post after the ch 2. Do this for 4 dc posts.
FPdc for the next 4 dc posts, then alternate all the way across the row.
(Hint if it looks like a back post in the post of the row below, then do a BPdc; if it looks like a front post in the post of the row below, then do a FPdc.)
Next Row is actually doing the opposite of the stitch as it appears on this next turn over.
    Ch 2 and turn
If the post below this row looks like a FPdc, then do a BPdc. And vice versa. It’s all about how it looks on the row below the one you are working. Continue as you did in Row 1, but your doing the opposite stitch from what was done in the row below.
Next Row, same instructions as Row 2. If you see a FPdc, then do a FPdc, and vice versa.
You will have two rows that have the same stitch, verticals or raised post stitches, a and two rows that look like horizontal, or fence stitches. 2x2!

It's just called the treble stitch, it's one of the basic stitches. It's the English treble. Hope this helps.
