Wow, so funky! I love the way he stays accessible. You don't get exhausted trying to follow obscure rhythms and hidden bar lines, as happens so often in the jazz world.
Gene was my friend. I learned a lot from him. I'll share this one with you from Mr. Harris. On the topic of playing in public,(not performing...too much pressure),
