  • Here is a link to the exact horn i used. Cheapest one i could find with the relay kit. It is an Amazon Affiliate link so it does help out the channel.

    Just a heads up to those that are planning on installing a louder horn. Denali Electronics sells a mini sound bond horn that's 10 times easier to install than an air horn. It involves no relay switch. You literally can just swap it out with the old one. That's how easy it is. It's 113 db but it sounds louder than the air horn in this video. Way louder. Good luck guys.

      Hi,
      Would it be possible to replace stock horn with a single 12v 400db snail horn?
      Thanks

    • @ericcartman1859
      @ericcartman1859 Год назад

      @@dineshperera9338 I highly doubt you'll be able to find any horn capable of producing 400db, if it says 400db they are most certainly lying, but you can definitely replace a regular horn with a snail horn, the installation will depend on the brand of horn, if it has a relay you will have to follow the instructions in the video, if it doesn't require a relay then it should just be as simple as swapping it with the original

    Hey nice video. I also installed the same horn on my 2019 Ninja 400, and yes you're right it's Loud!! However,just an FYI I installed mine in the original factory horn mount and it fits perfectly with no issues as per the suspension travel and plenty of room with no issues of getting stuck or hitting anything. Also your bike doesn't need an extra red wire to power your USB charger. The wiring to install the USB charger is already factory wired. All you need is to hook it up and install a relay and connect the wires to your USB charger. If you haven't already done so.

    Is their anyway to have the stock horn still on and put a custom button on for the new horn? I don’t wanna start blaring people off the start lol.

    hey thanks for the video. one question, why do we need an extra relay while the original horn assembly already have a relay in its circuit.

    • @bugbuger5223
      @bugbuger5223 3 года назад +4

      Could be because the new horn draws more current then the original horn. The original relay may be too weak to handle that.

    • @tomasnovotny817
      @tomasnovotny817 2 года назад

      Because it is universal. Some bikes (pretty much all the old ones ) dont have a horn relay and is just switched by the button. And the power draw is higher and some small relays might burn

    You do realize that one of your wires is 90 degrees? The red one inside the fairing. If it isn't causing issues yet , it will.
