I use to love these compilations but I started analyzing them more and noticed that alot of the motorcyclist ask for it. They're speeding in and out of lanes and get mad when somebody pop's out or switches lanes in front of them but people's reaction time is slow. If I'm switching lanes or getting ready to turn my brain says go at the same time I'm trying to look in my mirrors trying to be a defensive driver on a street with a speed limit of 30-40 mph and a motorcycle pops out of nowhere pushing 50+ what am I suppose to do? If I'm on the highway I know to expect car's or motorcycles will be travelling at a high rate of speed but not on residential or side roads. I also noticed that as I age my senses become weaker than when I was 21 so it's up to bikers to understand that it's their choice to ride bikes so they should be more considerate. Also busting mirrors or hitting a car then speeding off is pussy ass shit.
At least 2/3rds of these guys are asking for it. There is something about wearing a camera that makes people think it's up to them to enforce traffic law and they end up putting themselves in these situations just so they can get a chance to yell at a car driver. Example being guy at the light at 2:35: It's technically illegal to right on red without stopping, but it happens all the time, as do people who run red lights because they thought they could make the yellow. The solution is to not go racing forwards the moment a light turns green.

Yes, and, as far as I'm aware, according to the law (at least in most places I know of) bikers should behave and abide by the exact same rules as car drivers should, but they usually don't. For example, driving between lanes/cars, or stopping on pedestrian crossings should never happen.

It's harder for a truck to merge than a motorcycle, considering the run on lane ends relatively soon and the cars were fairly back to back. I see it all the time, people coming off of a turn around with a short run lane before a merge refusing to yield to oncoming traffic and just expecting to be let over. A yield is a yield regardless of a run up lane. The truck was being courteous and safe.

Guys. If you’re going 20+ mph over the speed limit, you can’t get too mad if someone pulls out in front of you. They can’t look a quarter mile down the road for your tiny headlight. Be smart.
Some folks have enough trouble judging distance and speed with 4 wheelers and larger vehicles but, when it comes to motorcycles with a much SMALL SILHOUETT they just can't do it. It's a skill that is learned from experience but, maybe it needs to be taught in driver's ED classes. Make yourself LOOK BIGGER by wearing bright colors and running your headlight on high beam all the time for instance. Folks who are colorblind or partially colorblind have trouble with some of the colors we wear. We blend in with the road-side circus like billboards, and all manner of advertising junk along the roads. Maybe the MSF has some recommendations for us in this area OR maybe they can conduct some surveys to determine the most visible colors to wear, etc. These things may reduce problems but, the idiots who just don't look, on the phone, high on drugs/alcohol, etc. will remain a serious problem ...not to mention the morons who think they own the road just because they are bigger than us and protected by a steel cage. Additionally, drive with authority (passive aggressive) and put yourself in a stronger lane position (eg.. not in the middle or far right). Make sure Everyone around you knows you're there to the point of being obnoxious and DON'T RIDE ALONG IN THEIR BLIND SPOTS. Next time you're in your car, truck, etc, look for your blind spots and take note. Speed up or slow down or both. There's no shame in backing off the throttle to be in a safer lane position, and DON'T PASS ON THE RIGHT !. GET A LOUDER HORN AND USE IT. Make them think you're bigger than you are. These videos show us the wrong things to do and arm us with the knowledge of what can happen at any moment. MC riding is a skill and, if you want to be safe and survive, you must learn how it's done. Controlling the MC is just a piece of equation. PS - My state does not allow lane splitting, filtering, etc. Well over 50% of the trouble I see in these videos starts with a rider zipping between cars in town or on the freeways. You're asking for trouble if you do it.

You're talking about the 3 bikers and the pickup. The only reason was because the guy in the pickup was at that point triggered so they didn't want that. In Canada, filtering on a motorcycle is prohibited. Motorcycles must follow the rules of the road like cars. This avoids many problems. When the rules of the road are the same for everyone, bikers don't think they are the kings of the road.

Right turn on red is fine, but you're supposed to make a full stop, and turn when it's safe to. When there's more then one lane, aren't you supposed to get in the first one? And not whatever lane you want?

Light was green before truck got into the intersection meaning his light was red, so he was supposed to stop and yield to oncomming traffic, which the video shows, he never stopped.
Charlie Kelley - I hate when people don't use the merge lane, in Colorado people have an issue not knowing what to do they all stop...I go around too as I assume they are broken down, if enough room i go around in my car also...LOL That truck also should have pulled into the closer lane to them when you make a right turn legally you are not to just swoop on over to the left, you pull into the lane closet to you and then merge over using your blinker to get left. But yet the truck did roll a light.

PS - My state does not allow lane splitting, filtering, etc. Well over 50% of the trouble I see in these videos starts with a rider zipping between cars in town or on the freeways. You're asking for trouble if you do it.

You're talking about the 3 bikers and the pickup. The only reason was because the guy in the pickup was at that point triggered so they didn't want that. At first they want to talk to him, but when he took off on that hit and run, and yes it was a super minor thing, but still. You would not like it if someone just bumped there car or truck into you, and being on a bike is still the same thing! Either way, I'm just glad it didn't go any further then what it did. In Canada, filtering on a motorcycle is prohibited. Motorcycles must follow the rules of the road like cars. This avoids many problems.

Light was green before truck got into the intersection meaning his light was red, so he was supposed to stop and yield to oncomming traffic, which the video shows, he never stopped.
Charlie Kelley - I hate when people don't use the merge lane, in Colorado people have an issue not knowing what to do they all stop...I go around too as I assume they are broken down, if enough room i go around in my car also...LOL That truck also should have pulled into the closer lane to them when you make a right turn legally you are not to just swoop on over to the left, you pull into the lane closet to you and then merge over using your blinker to get left. But yet the truck did roll a light.

Mr Cockatiel I ride all the time and very rarely do you have encounters like this if you ride like a normal person and don’t fly. Slow down get towards center lane when approaching side roads. Slow down when approaching intersections.
