Denali Sound Bomb Horn

  • Tired of the wimpy "meep meep" sounding horn on your motorcycle? Get a Denali Sound Bomb Horn and they'll definitely hear you. You'll probably even scare the sh*t of some people.
    Also, if you're wondering why I had to use a wiring harness with this horn, it's because the factory wiring harness and switch cannot supply enough amps to the Sound Bomb horn. The factory horn probably only draws around 3 to 5 amps, whereas the Sound Bomb horn draws around 12-15 amps. Therefore it was necessary to wire the heavier circuit in there with the relay.

    Mounted a similar model on my Shadow Spirit. Found that on bumps the front forks would compress and the front fender would come in contact with the horn. Scratched the fender. I solved it by fabricating a simple bracket and remounted the horn on the left side of the bike. How is yours holding up?

    • @TheGearedRaven72

      NikiDDawg good fix!! Mine is holding up great so far. I have lots of clearance. The only problem I’ve had one time was when water got in the contact on the button for my horn. So how long from start to finish? It is loud, be careful around some parts for real you can get a ticket for horn too loud. I aint sure about FL but in NJ they will give a ticket. Did like the driveby.

      Chuck Habrack if I hadn’t been filming each step? Maybe 30 minutes. And we’re cool here in Florida. 👍🏻

    Hope you checked clearance when front shocks are compressed?

    • @TheGearedRaven72
      @TheGearedRaven72  4 года назад +1

      Yes I did. I’ve trailered my bike several times and had it strapped down with them compressed. I’ve turned both directions while riding etc. and there’s still plenty of clearance.
