The only thing I disagree with is the paint job at the very end I do agree there are a lot of bad paint jobs but there’s gotta be some pretty freaking cool ones as well
The only issue is when I see a custom paint job the first thing that comes to mind is “When did he drop the bike and/or wreck it, and decide to fix it by doing custom paintwork?”
People who straight pipe their bikes just to make them louder are usually the ones that live in a suburb that want to start their bike up in the early morning hours for 15 minutes waking up their neighbors before redlining it through the school zone.
I love LED lights and custom paint jobs even if i don’t like the character or theme I can appreciate the work that went into it. Also wraps have come a long way you can get a wrap with any custom design so it won’t hurt the resale value of your bike plus you can switch up your designs it’s a win-win 😁
Terrible take on the underglow… I specifically installed a kit so that I’d be far more visible at night. Wearing high vis accessories doesn’t even compare when being seen at night, have fun wearing a vest and getting mistaken for a non moving road sign
“The ornamental cowhide hung limp off the periphery of his ape hangers in a way that felt familiar to his waning sense of masculinity” Pure poetry and comedy gold.
the only 2 I disagree on is under glow and having the full custom paint job. within the bike and car scene under glow has made a large comeback with reputable brands making some really nice kits with nice features and customizability. and the paint work. I run a itasha wrap on my bike and yeah within the car and bike community I'm know as that guy with the anime wrap on his motorcycle, but most old heads and younger guys that say its not there style can appreciate the effort that went into designing, applying, and maintaining the design.

I feel like one sort of LED under glow that’s acceptable may be a white led lighting your outer area for better rode presence and drivers rider awareness. Id have an led cast at all 4 of my corners
My wife started riding this year. I am glad her motorcycle came with LED's. She is highly visible but cars still manage to pull out in front of her. She likes them. As long as we are not running blue or red we don't seem to have any issues.
I don't personally use LED underglow, but if you want to be seen at night, underglow is actually a good idea for riding at night. And many won't pull you over because they realize it might save you from people being distracted on cell phones and more distracted drivers.
As someone who is starting an ironhead chopper build, I was about to be sauced then you said the bit about having other sensible bikes, which I believe my GSA and FXR fit into, so now I just feel like you've put me in a box
I think one of the dumbest mods on a motorcycle is ape hanger handlebars. There is no way in hell those things are comfortable for any amount of time and they have to just totally ruin the handling and steering of the bike.
LED underglow is illegal on the road in PA for a 4 wheeled vehicle except for show in a parking lot etc. It is however legal on motorcycles due to “increased visibility” don’t have it myself but it’s nice to see they atleast thought it through.
Are there color restrictions? WV just changed the law to allow them on MC. Though red blue and orange/amber are still not permitted. (Emergency vehicle colors) Bought my bike off a guy in ohio, he picked blue for w/e reason. I had to add a switch so they werent constant.
I run LED glow on my bike. they are also tied in so when I hit my turn signals all the lights on that side of the bike flash with it and when I brake they all turn red. so it helps visibility alot especially when I am riding in to work early in the morning in the dark and people are driving like idiots. I don't turn them on during the day or anything though because that'd be weird.
Should probably have mentioned when you go to sell your stretch jixxer with LEDs, airbrushed skulls, and other horrible mods, don't list it as "Over $xx,xxx invested". Your investment has a really negative return. Probably not best to advertise that.
My first bike was an 84 Honda CB400. When I was across the state, the end of one exhaust pipe fell off and the interior baffle was coming out. So in true 18 year old squid fashion, I pulled it out and then got a hacksaw and did the same to the other pipe. That bike made a sound I can't describe....it set of any car alarm I get with 50 feet of. I let a buddy ride it and I could hear him coming back 6 minutes before he got there. I could only maintain that level of ridiculous for so long, I got a whole new exhaust as soon as I could afford it.
I chopped my CB750, added a monoshock, changed the geometry (ended up making it a little too tall for myself because it looks more like a sport bike vanity of function), relocated all the electronics and rewired everything, changed to a single seat and got some bar end mirrors because I like how they don't look like stupid insect antennas... I like it and a lot of other people seem to also like it 😅🤷♂️ I did change the handlebars to clip-ons at some point but they were so painful to ride with I had to change them out.
Sorry, but not sorry, Yammie. LED underglow lights make sense from a safety standpoint as every little bit of extra light helps alert clueless cagers to your presence.
I dont know what Yammie is talking about. LED lights look amazing on motorcycles. I have them on mine and love it. Plus, it increases visibility. I have mine connect to a rechargeable battery pack. That way, they dont kill my battery.
If your going to complain about stretched bikes. There’s no reason to have a turbo busa when you don’t even use that for how it’s intended 😂 most people (that I know) stretch there bikes and actually race them (highway roll racing) different type of fun. And a lot of them bet thousands of $$$. And a stretch and lowering sure does help a lot even for a stock liter bike.
I loved your bit on choppers. Haveing something realistic to ride on the side is so smart. Then take you chopper to show of when occasion arises. I have a friend who spent his whole budget on a chopper and now all he does I pay for the bike, month after month while he hates it cause he can't ride for more then 30 minutes
My LED under glow has been installed on my Magna for many years and still works fine. I like it so if you don’t, don’t put it on your bike. Your opinion is not the opinion of everyone Noob.
The stupid mods for a first-time biker to avoid, is all the mods your well-meaning friends suggest to you before the bike even leaves the dealership. Too many new riders spend hundreds of dollars in mods before they've even ridden the bike. Then when they decide that biking isn't for them, or that they bought a cruiser when they really want an adventure bike all those mods just deepen the financial hole they just dug for themselves. So ride the bike for a while and get to know it. Then when you're sure that motorcycling is for you, and you're sure that you've bought the right bike for you, then you can start choosing your own mods, based on your own experience, based on what you want, and based on what you think will enhance you motorcycling experience.
I use LEDs simply due to visibility to others. Run them every time I ride, day, night, rain. ( I frosted the windscreen, so the entire screen, just GLOWS) It drops the "I didn't see you" situation considerably. It's not for the cool factor, it's safety for me.
I think painting Punnisher skull logos in your bike deserved a specific mention. How many thousands of bikers have done that thinking they're the first?
The overlength swingarm thing really cancels any want I have to buy the bike. It tells me the clutch on the bike has likely been beat to shxx. Plus, I would have to get another stock style swing arm and probably replace the chain and the sprockets to fix the Frankensteining of the bike. Bikes have enough challenges on the street being comfortable. Oversize swing arms just make it so you have to fight the bike to make it turn everywhere you go. Stock geometries come from a heck of alot of research. I'll stay with that.
This is a mixed bag, paint is personal preference and choppers are not all bad, if consideration is put into how it is built you can have a comfortable and reasonably well handling bike assuming you don't go too extreme. It is a nice style when done well. I agree with the over skulling being bad but this can also be good when done well.
So let’s get this straight. 4 min in and now no skulls, no leather, no lights, cause they are “not cool” and I’ve heard him call hi viz “silly, stupid, annoying” in more than one video. Really starting to think this guy gate keeps as much as a Harley rider.
Let’s start here. 1. It’s 2024 and yes under glow is cool even for experienced riders. 2. No under glow its self is NOT illegal but some colors are. 3. It’s not hard to install under glow on a bike or a car 😂 if you think its hard your just straight up lazy. 4. They come with switches that you install with the under glow that completely turns them off so it doesn’t drain your battery. 5 MOST under glow kits are water proofed with waterproof housing and wiring and Iv ran some for YEARS through rain and snow and mud and never had issues. You need to stop trying to knock down everyone’s rides because you’re jealous. If you can’t install it your self just have someone els do it…
As someone who lives in Vegas, LEDs on anything will never go out of style lol but I do agree with the wild paint job point, I have a buddy with a busa in great condition with low miles but can’t sell it because he has a horrible flame paint job 🤮, now he has to either repaint it or buy new fairings 🤣
Led under glow would only serve to make you more noticeable. It makes no sense, why you would be against something that could easily be argued as a a safety feature. As long as the mod has been done with taste a quality I say good for them. High vis vest look way more dumb than a lights.
Just because a bike pops and bangs on decel doesn’t mean it has a fuel problem. Have you ever heard of a pear valve? It pumps fresh air into the cat to ignite unburnt fuel. It’s part of emission process. It still pops and bangs with stock exhaust it’s just not as noticeable until you put a slip on muffler
A tasteful amount, not too much of under glow is pretty smart at night so people can see you easier. Of course, in legal states. Hell, just some white lights in good spots will do wonders for being seen. It in no shape or form needs to be for looks. functionality is the key.
From what I've seen, underglow is generally accepted as a safety feature. It's good to avoid red and blue but anything else is good. I think you oversold how uncool it is.
If you want a dope paintjob. Get a dope wrap instead. Then at least when you resell it the wrap can be taken off easier and repainting an entire bike. Plus you can get the same thing done in both paint and wrap these days customization without hurting resale value if youre into that sorta thing
Well, I didnt put on LED underglow, but I did put amber LED marker lights inside the side radiator exit vents on the side of my Ninja, because at night its too invisible from the side and its also legal. Thats a nice touch and looks good at night and enhances safety. My experience with underglow is they seem to fail in a short while, and why add things to attract attention from law enforcement.

Stretched swingarm and big wheel front wheels are extensions of the chopper idea. Crazy paint too. Custom culture is motorcycle culture.
I have under glow on my motorcycle, have saved my life many times, at night. As teacher said, pretend that you are invisible to others
I use LEDs simply due to visibility to others. Run them every time I ride, day, night, rain. ( I frosted the windscreen, so the entire screen, just GLOWS) It drops the "I didn't see you" situation considerably.
It's not for the cool factor, it's safety for me.
Skull flesh light almost sent coffee through my nose
snuck that right in there on me.
Well Done
I think painting Punnisher skull logos in your bike deserved a specific mention. How many thousands of bikers have done that thinking they're the first?
You're making me feel bad, Yam. Tomorrow I was going to order some tassles for my desert sled. Ive been saving up for weeks.
9:47 I mean I didn’t want a painted bike before but if I answer yes to both? 😂😂
Your add about phone holders... I think phone holders for your handlebars are a terrible mod.
Love the fact I got at least two of these don't do, on my bike......
Your right and wrong all at the same time my dude.... 😂
Mirrors that cost $500.
Skulls aren’t cool unless they’re real, i put a baboon skull on my bike and it’s the best thing ever
I cant decide if I want leather tassles or cheerleader pompom streamer things on my Tuono
Choppers don't handle turns, speed bumps, and any slow speed maneuvers in a parking lot. Plus your arms fall asleep and turn into the stranger.
If you can’t install it your self just have someone els do it…
Very huge fan of your channel 🤙 Very informative and interesting also hilarious especially when you make fun of gixer bros mercilessly lol 😂
Some of those bar ends you showed we’re actually OEM… just sayin’
Just because a bike pops and bangs on decel doesn’t mean it has a fuel problem. Have you ever heard of a pear valve? It pumps fresh air into the cat to ignite unburnt fuel. It’s part of emission process. It still pops and bangs with stock exhaust it’s just not as noticeable until you put a slip on muffler
Bout to start a channel and make my first video called, "I INSTALLED YAMMIE NOOB'S TOP 7 STUPIDEST MOTORCYCLE MODS"
Clicked on this video just to dislike when I saw underglow
Those bikes you showed with LEDS looked pretty good
You never wanna have to chopper in the rain
A tasteful amount, not too much of under glow is pretty smart at night so people can see you easier. Of course, in legal states. Hell, just some white lights in good spots will do wonders for being seen. It in no shape or form needs to be for looks. functionality is the key.
Having a custom vest made that says "if u can read this, my yammie fell off"
Bro you really called me out on the old truck with exhaust leak and a photo of my truck 😂
Lmao NOT stretching the Busa is freaking nuts🤣🤣who does that!?
Fog lights on a bike is a huge Win tho 😊
From what I've seen, underglow is generally accepted as a safety feature. It's good to avoid red and blue but anything else is good. I think you oversold how uncool it is.
Excessive Luggage, that or just the scooter box on its own!
If you want a dope paintjob. Get a dope wrap instead. Then at least when you resell it the wrap can be taken off easier and repainting an entire bike. Plus you can get the same thing done in both paint and wrap these days customization without hurting resale value if youre into that sorta thing
Under estimate the power of a small 2 stroke. That is epic. Happens all the time.
I think the under flow is fine if it’s not on but light up for brakes and turn signals
