The "get back whip" was described to me as a "Leash" with the intent of being utilized as a quick access weapon not against cars but against other people where you pull it off and you use the metal end as a flail.
I had a get back whip on my Harley (lol yeah, I know), and I never heard of it being taken off and used as a weapon. The getback whip is supposed to have a metal ball Bering or nuts and bolts on the end to crack windows from drivers that get too close. I have one that I got from my American Legion Riders club and I only put it on the bike for parades. It kind of gets in the way of shifting or breaking, depending on the side you put it on. Four years ago at an ADV rally a dog ran out into the road. Straight at me teeth out, he wasn’t a happy dog. I leaned away, gave throttle, the dog went for my left foot/leg. I lifted my leg and the dog got my foot peg. At this point Mr grumpy dog realized his mistake. Me going 30-35 the dog running at an angle towed me whatever dog speed is, probably added 10mph to the foot peg & mouth contact. This all happened in a few seconds but if I had the “get back whip” I still wouldn’t have had time to use it. Haha I stopped in at the house the next day to check on the dog, no one was home. Awe well.

"Not wearing any underpants.." is known as "Going Commando", that's "Commando" Sean, rather than "Commander" (interesting random stuff from today? I was reminded that Norton had a model P11, a really cool Motorcycle that became.. ..the Commando.. and, Clint Eastwood actually had one tied into his deal with M.G.M. for the film "Where Eagles Dare" - Jus' sayin'). 😉 If you can ever find it, check out the (U.K.) Bike Magazine article "Never Mind The Bosozuko" from around '82 or '83, when Bosozuko (quite serious types really and not so much cartoon characters, especially at this time) were typically riding CBX 1000's, six downpipes straight into short lengths of scaffold pipe and were a rolling riot.. ..which rather appealed to someone I know, who duly did the same to his CBX (it became a thing here locally.. ..and understand this was kinda just post Mad Max, which helped). 🙄Moving on.. I think something we can take from this edition is Amazon is NOT a Motorcycle Factors, Kevin's good fun and S&M gear has absolutely no place in society, particularly out on the Highway.
The dB scale for sound level is a logarithmic scale. Every 3dB more is doubling the sound pressure. Suppose you start with 80dB and the pressure is 110. When you go up to 83dB you get double the sound pressure to 220. You go up to 86dB it doubles again so you are 4 times as high as 80dB and get 440. Go up an other 3dB to 89dB and you go to 8 times as high as 80dB and get 880. Go up to 92dB and you go to 16 times as high as 80dB and get 1760. This goes on and on.
😂 im a PA boy and im just about done with my build. Its only a short list of things that are illegal. Removed the rear suspension, chain gaurd, front fender, mirrors, speedometer, odometer, mufflers, kill switch, highbeam switch, and air filter box. List of parts i changed to illegal parts is apehangers above the hight of my shoulders, increased carb jet size, decreased size of signal and brake lights, and using a plate from a similar generation motorcycle i already own because i can't reach the current title holder. Good thing i live in a small town where as long as im not causing trouble i wont have any trouble lol

3:14 my brother was at a place called Glamis riding dirt bikes when another one came over a blind hill. Somehow caused the foot peg to go into my brothers leg, narrowly avoiding his femoral artery and a GNARLY scar.
I had Two Brothers Carbon Fiber exhaust on my CBR 600, sounded great. I now have Bassani Sweepers on my Yamaha Bolt. SUPER LOUD. Crazy loud. Super Hawk is stock atm.
For a long time the Air Force required people to wear a reflective vest while riding. What they learned over time is that reflective vests increase your chances of being in an accident. This is because the average person pulls their steering wheel the direction they are looking. The Air force quietly got rid of the requirement.
The ratio between sound pressure level (loudness) and decibel isn't liniar. Adding 6 dB will double the measured volume, adding 20db will increase it by factor of 100.

Both you guys crack me up! The gorilla law was hilarious! Thanks for the informative stuff. I live in CA and you're right. What's good here is bad, and what's bad is good then everyone wants it despite! Cool video, thanks so much! A+ 👍😎
That Sharknado documentary sure was a good one. Crazy how that can happen. Be safe out there folks!
What's hilarious to me is that that exhaust is more bosozoku than the lights could ever be. You should import some, just for the sheets and giggles 😂😂😂
So the cop just admitted that he pulled people over for fishing expeditions with no knowledge of the legality of the modifications nor of the illegality of his actions in doing so.
Great friend ya got there.
I love my new Bikes and Beards shirt!!! Thank you guys so much!!!
I'm going to try the clone twin brother idea. You guys always come up with the most solid ideas.
Haha
I stopped in at the house the next day to check on the dog, no one was home. Awe well.
Love your content man, I hope you guys continue with great passion as you do!
as a gen x that has ridden since age 6 in all types of places I can say
hand on heart
I have NEVER needed a whip!
even when we didn't have cell phones!!
have a great day :)
That train horn is as loud as a air raid siren.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sean is completely wrong, Daniel absolutely sees Kumiko again, 30 years later.
I WAS GOING TO SAY THIS ASWELL 😂
This is might be my favorite video you guys ever put out. I laughed so hard.
If you pulled up next to me and blared that horn we would've had a conversation. That's a PA officer alright 😅😂
If you can ever find it, check out the (U.K.) Bike Magazine article "Never Mind The Bosozuko" from around '82 or '83, when Bosozuko (quite serious types really and not so much cartoon characters, especially at this time) were typically riding CBX 1000's, six downpipes straight into short lengths of scaffold pipe and were a rolling riot.. ..which rather appealed to someone I know, who duly did the same to his CBX (it became a thing here locally.. ..and understand this was kinda just post Mad Max, which helped).
I absolutely love the Ben Hurr reference. one of the best movies ever
15:58 Dude was a cop for a LONG time and deff freshly retired. He still stands with his arms as if he has to clear his duty belt
I now want nunchaku handlebar's that swing around like tassels...thank you for a crazy Ninja Turtle Michelangelo idea 🤣🤣
In Minnesota 10 years ago When I got my motorcycle license , if you were a permit holder (before taking the road test) you had to wear a helmet, couldn't ride with a passenger, and couldn't ride on the freeway, or after dusk.
Totally unrelated. Love the new shirt! It fits great and I really like the subdued logo.
3:11 that quick non-hesitant one handed catch though.
in my MC guys do use the get back whips, but, it's a weapon, you swing the heavy end and it is deadly, especially when several are used at one time in a biker brawl...
That big performance exhaust!!!!
Sean you need a shave bro the part for The Last Of Us is already taken🤣🤣. Was definitely getting Jhon Wayne vibes from the ex cop too😁😁. Great upload guy's👍🏻
I think the end was fantastic. "Would I get pulled over for this" then proceeded to show how his megaphone exhaust works 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣
A stir regarding "Ghost Trains" lol. Kevin gets my vote for official legal advisor.
he's carrying an invisible widescreen TV lol
Sean that explanation of California laws was spot-on right! 😂
Not really.
You guys need to start cranking out more vids, I'm sitting here after knee surgery and I'm gonna run out of bikes n beards vids today!!
My 97 Valkyrie was impressed with your horn modification
For a long time the Air Force required people to wear a reflective vest while riding. What they learned over time is that reflective vests increase your chances of being in an accident. This is because the average person pulls their steering wheel the direction they are looking. The Air force quietly got rid of the requirement.
From someone who is British. I love that you call pants under pants 😂
I seen that fact based documentary too!
If memory serves, it was called “sharknado”
Very informative
The train beeping back was dope as hell
The ratio between sound pressure level (loudness) and decibel isn't liniar. Adding 6 dB will double the measured volume, adding 20db will increase it by factor of 100.
in UK you dont need mirrors:D it will fail inspection if mirrors are on and damadged, but if you have no mirrors it will pass inspection:D
1:05 this is one of the most amazing inventions ever
I loved when the vid turned into a short episode of "Crazy laws from every state"
When I clicked on the Amazon link to leave an awesome testimonial review that everyone would appreciate I find out that Amazon won't let people review it unless they were a verified buyer... Little bummed now I'm sure the reviews would be golden if Amazon would just let people post
