2:47 actually killed me bro. I never got actual cog (I joined the fandom in late 2018 and only got cyberverse for two months, with my first REAL figure being Siege Optimus, which blew my mind), I just liked him in the show because I love bullshit characters who die in ten seconds, and he got to do that twice. I may have to pick him up at some point to finish my autobot weaponizer combiner.
A ton of people loved that, Part I'm so happy to hear it. To be fair his deaths were always the lamest ones. Like the time that a thing that only annoyed prime stabbed right through him. Or that time a Thorn impaled him and he died crying about it.
I think the rog cult was formed because someone come up with the name rog, then someone thought it was hilarious and then everyone started to like the figure
I was so shocked this thing existed that I was starring at his box at the store laughing that his name was literally just "Red Cog". Imagine if all seekers were just called "[color] Starscream" Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the next wave of studio series and legacy to go on the shelves.
When my brother and I watched Earthrise together, when Cog died we both just screamed out “NOOOOO COOOOOOOOG” because we both half-jokingly liked the design
I'll be honest, that was the best part of the show, not because I was laughing at him dying or anything, but because it was the one well written part that made me feel anything.
@@galovicmedia mhm..Cliff is actually one of my favorite autobots..so he definitely isn't just "Red Bee" in my book..it's a shame that hasbro isn't showing him much respect especially considering his last incarnations..I still cry everytime I watch Bumblebee...guess why
I freaking love this figure, it has so many combination possibilities and great weapons. He is a very nice representation of the original Gasket and Grommet forming Cog, I bet the original figure must have burned your retinas.
I actually thought of a pretty cool way to use weaponizers: giving them to the opposite factions. Now, instead of a guy armoring uo an ally, its a guy who was captured, ripped to pieces, and forcibly molded into a weapons, armor, and upgrades, which i think is significantly more baddass.
we already had a "red cog". we already had freaking aragon, which is a lot more red, which makes the weird proportion a lot less striking, and he has a unique headsculpt (which, love it or hate it, it's a unique piece). does, does this one only exists because aragorn was so much of a ball and chain to get? is that all?
Red cog is also a thing from g1 Japan, he is the partner to grand maximus like regular cog was the companion to Fort Max. I think he has more significance than the centurion drone as a character but not by much XD and would have allot more if they would re-release grand max for hasbro markets.
I recently found out that the arms can plug into the rear of the legs and there’s several connection points that make it’s rear alt mode much more sturdy.
@@PerspectiveEnd theres a ‘69’ connection (dunno what else to call it lol) when you plug into the shoulder peg into the groin port in conjunction with the knee cap peg into the forearm port. Along with some tabs on the inside of the knees that peg into the groin, the whole thing feels like a brick afterwards. The front section is hopeless tho lol
This feels like something that was made for the Grandma's to pick up at Christmas time, because it's the only thing that they know billy likes and it's 3 days till Christmas
I took the fists and using the barrel pegs sticking off them pegged them into where the arms go, and then I took the torso and pegged the shin pegs into the robo nipples.
Hey Persepctive. My legacy metroplex( amazing figure) recently fell and now his head is crooked. My OCD is killing me and I need to know how to fix this.

Hmm, would the head be better if it had more colors? Considering how much Centurion Drone came with and how Brunt is a better mold, this seems even worse in comparison. But, yeah, if I see him on clearance, I'm grabbing him.
@@serPomiz I meant the head. Aragon has a different head sculpt. And even then, eyes/visor aside, it's all just one color. I was specifically talking about adding more color to the head (maybe keep it red, but the faceplate is silver or something like that).
Well put. The alt mode was what kept me from getting it, or even entertaining getting it even when it went on sale. Also the fact that he has less presence than the reflector triplets, except Scrapface, his one off fourth wall joke about some Cybertronians choosing their names at least got a chuckle from me.
Yeah, in Siege all he did was get blown in half, and in ER all he did was die by getting pricked on a Thorn, after crying about Optimus thinking about Shooting Megatron.
Fantastic review PerspectiveEnd!!! Thank you, I am no longer upset that I have not found this figure, since it the price is not worth what you get, plus I already have Cog and Aragon in my collection. :D I have rearranged the letters of this figure's name and have renamed him: "Codger." lol Keep on being amazing.
@@PerspectiveEnd i have now bought the standered one as well and idk how they where storing it in the jimacian storage wearhouse it came from but some how it was all too tight and i had to was it to get the joints to move without them feeling like they would snap if i forced them
My Red Cog holds to together fine. One leg hinge is slightly loose, but not so bad it hinders him standing. The hinged parts on the arms make sense in vehicle mode. They allow the guns to aim up, to shoot at fliers. I see the vehicle mode as a armored car pulling a weapons trailer (also works as separate vehicles). All the guns can fit on the legs/ trailer (I put bombs in the shoulder holes, though, but I guess putting them in the bottoms of the feet would work, for keeping everything on the trailer), however, certain guns do have issues, in some ports, & a couple must face the rear, but everything can be gotten to sit straight, if you place the guns intelligently. Even the arms can attach fully to the legs section, using both the peg & port. •Gave ER Sunstreaker the shotgun, because he doesn't actually have a gun, for some stupid reason. •Giving ER Ratchet his medical thing. •Legacy Elita will get the sniper rifle (Magnus gun + long barrel), when she gets here (meant for her Siege version; she used it in the series, at least once). •ER Arcee got her adapter (does hinder waist rotation, if plugged in, properly). •Will probably give ER Wheeljack his bomb. •& Red Cog gets to keep his guns & the tube, as an arm cannon. •Not sure who to give the suppressor to. I think only Ratchet's device & Arcee's adapter can use/ need it.
Glad your's is better than mine. The fact that everyone has a Different interpretation for what his altmode is just means that it's nothing and everyone has to pretend. Sunstreaker got a two barreled blow drier. What Medical thing? Wait you already got Legacy Elita? What adapter? Why do something to remind your self of the show. What about giving the supressor pistol to Chromia?
Uh, Cog's 2 altmodes were based on his original toy. Ignoring that, the legs clearly are a military half-track, with multiple weapon racks, without painted windows (paint there would've helped, a lot). The torso's vehicle mode reminds me of Roller. How they combine is reminiscent of a vehicle pulling a trailer, especially with all of Red Cog's weapons loaded up (the way I mentioned putting the arms on the half-track, rather than the front car-thing, is in the instructions; though, I think I found that, on my own, trying to cram everything onto him). This was all immediately noticeable to me, without trying to figure out what they are supposed to transform into. They just were. Sunstreaker 's turbocharger intakes remain on his back in robot mode. Canonically aren't removable (some interpretations make them a built in jetpack), & makes him look wrong without them. He shipped without his rifle. The fat "gun", with the port, for a barrel , below where you'd think it should be, was used by Ratchet as a scanner or something (could also be interpreted as a welding tool or laser scalpel), in the Netflix series. The instructions show plugging the supressor or the long/ sniper barrel into it, as 2 of the configurations. I preordered Elita-1. I clearly said "when she gets here". Sad I have to do that, but Hasbro distribution is so inconsistent. Thankfully, her price keeps fluctuating (mostly falling, so far), & I'm guaranteed the lowest price. The round gun, with a bit of blue or purple paint (bad lighting, so I'm not sure which), with a handle & an odd thin bit that juts out from below the barrel, was designed to double as an adapter for the ER Arcee mold, so she can use Weaponizers, etc. as backpacks, since she doesn't have useful Siege ports (it was weird, that the ONE time I remember the Weaponizer gimmick got used in the series, it was with one, of the few, characters whose toy couldn't replicate it). It plugs into the large hole for the rotation/ slider joint for the backpack to sit in, in vehicle mode, with the thin extra bit plugging into a tiny hole, just below the waist (locks the joint), for additional support. Hasbro (in one of their RUclips videos, which covered inspirations for all the weapons in the pack), TFW2005, the TFWiki, & I'm sure many over sites & reviewers, covered this. If you're going to do reviews, you might want to look into stuff, especially if you're going to ignore the instructions. Also, you should look at the instructions (even the bad, incomplete ones), after you think you've figured out the transformation, in case you missed something or there are hidden features. Stupidly, this specially designed feature isn't in Red Cog's instructions, which are different from Cog's (in that the extra weapons are shown, & a minor alternate transformation or 2 are depicted). I'm not doing anything to remind me of the bad shows (if that was the case, I wouldn't buy toys relating to the shows). The sniper rifle looks cool, is the best parts to match together (I tried all the weapon bits, in multiple combinations), & is what is intended. Unlike most people, I don't automatically picture things I don't want to, nor blindly do as I'm told. Whether described, pictured or actual. I can enjoy stuff for their own merits, disconnected from its source material, if I choose to do so. And will deviate from intended stuff or instructions, if I have a better (to me) thing in mind. (An example of this is partsforming Legacy G2 Optimus & RiD Scourge's trailers' tops, such that the hitch/ stand pegs into the other end's oval's port, so the sides of the trailer remain off the ground, providing cover, instead of the base sitting on them - especially important for Scourge, since those are fully painted silver; this is the same orientation MakeToys used, for their trailer for Reveal the Shield G2 Prime. Not all partsforming is bad, & optional is rarely bad, unless it interferes with other things). I think the part you used for the supressor (the squared off gun) was Sunstreaker's tri-barreled shotgun's body, which was already predetermined to be his, before I bought Red Cog, if I got him. I tried the shotgun barrel on each gun, & decided that combination looked best. I forgot I actually swapped that shotgun with Red Alert's gun, for better matches, a few days after I gave Sunstreaker the shotgun (had all my WfC/L Lambo-formers out, to compare to Clampdown; he's my only Earth-mode Lamborghini, of the WfC Sideswipe mold). My Red Alert has the ugly Siege damage, but it works for a car frequently near fires, with smokey weathering & likely damage from falling debris (also, got that Netflix version, instead of the clean one, because I don't like the ugly, black shoulder hinges, most of that mold has, which only stands out more in white, & the extra paint - not the "battle" damage - on the door kinda makes it blend in a bit better & make a little sense; he's my only Red Alert). The paint on the shotgun barrel matches the weathering & damage, plus as head of Autobot Security, it makes sense for him to have a riotgun. Also, the Lambo bros.' rifles look a lot like Sunstreaker's, so it was easy to swap the guns (I prefer not separating guns from their figures; giving someone the shotgun made it easier for me to divvy up the rest of the weapons. Previously, I had, grudgingly, given Sunstreaker Netflix Bumblebee's blasters/ bazooka, just so he was armed, since Bumblebee got his pistol in the Roller+weapons pack, that included a Brunt repaint - RiD G2 Optimus wound up with that pack's over-sized gun for Optimus). There's no gun body left to give to Chromia (you assumed I had Chromia, though, that is correct). They're all handed out. The only thing left was what to do with the suppressor piece, itself. It's depicted as attaching on Ratchet's scanner, but doesn't really look that great, & a medic dual wielding pistols doesn't really work. Ultimately, I put it on the end of Arcee's adapter-gun. I get your thing is to hate on Transformers. But you let your hate blind you, sometimes. You miss some good qualities of some bad figures (can't think of examples, right now), in your rush to rip them apart. Yes, many figures are bad, & deserve the hate. I try to avoid those, & reviews help me do that, but, sadly, not yours. Once in a while, a bad toy can do something clever, or even redeeming, & being blinded by hate can cause you to miss them. Ignorance & being blinded by awesomeness aren't much better. Yes, Hasbro should include all features & options in their instructions. They should, also, get those instructions right, for those who can't figure things out. But they don't, & not accounting for that limits the usefulness of your reviews. Some people use reviews to determine if there's enough to a toy to warrant getting it (regardless of the reviewer's opinion). One of my criteria is the engineering. I have a minimum standard on the combination of articulation & transformation engineering (overrideable, by certain characters), & reviews are one means to investigate those, without spending money. You are entertaining, but I can't use your reviews to objectively evaluate figures I'm on the fence about, nor can you change my mind on those I reject, outright. I need to watch other reviews, usually Emgo & peaugh, for that info. Even a follow up, on something you learned, after you posted the review, like Arcee's adapter being one of Red Cog's guns, for example, can help someone. I try to avoid using one source for my information (in most things), so I can better get the whole picture, but many don't. I'm not trying to tell you how to do your thing, just stating my opinion on stuff I think could benefit you or your viewers.
Excuse me perspectiveend. I was just thinking, didn’t the unicron trilogy do something similar with the designs of the characters ( similar to bayformers (minus the ugly)?
I can't wait for this to be like the Dai atles video where I can recite everything word for word. Red Cod: Guess how I feel about it truly a video to surpass Metal Gear.
Again I have to be the one to defend Cybertronian alt modes I like to use it as a little carriage for micro and battle masters Still though, who cares if it doesn’t look like anything, it’s a space vehicle, they’re not trying to disguise themselves, it’s just something to get from point A to point B
True, but that doesn't mean it can't resemble a practical vehicle. Look at Seige, look at the Bumblebee portion of Studio Series. They're alien while still clearly being vehicles.
@@skuffy4930 still though The point is that we’re not supposed to care because they’re not supposed to be based on anything realistic For all we know Cog’s vehicle mode could be very effective on Cybertron
I mean I care IMMENSILY. I like when I look at an altmode, and can tell what things are and what their purpose is, plus they should be actual passenger vehicles as 1 there are many smaller Cybertronian Races, and 2 they were canonically made as a Slave race for organics in G1. So those modes serve their masters intentions.
Hey Perspective! I’m confused on weather I should buy an Inferno or Waspinator toy. I cant afford both so I, conflicted. Currently I’m leaning towards Inferno.
Not gonna lie, as much as I like you complementing a figure, you riping and tearing junk a part was the reason why I subscribed in the first place. Also nice scene 2:47. And as for the question of the video... From all of this set accesories, whitch one was the best to you and why?
I'd actually use some random guns for my transformers since few i have lost theirs (Carmode shatter, Mutant Tigatron) and few would just use some guns in general (Dinobot, for example, to, sort of, replicate the coming of the fuzors part 1 ending)
@@PerspectiveEnd there is a lego piece called "technic pin with friction ridges and pin hole" which can be plugged into dinobot's hands and used as a 5mm port for the normally held weapons.
Oh, thank godness that this review is exists. My friend chat me, and asked me to choose a good, or at least decent Transformers figure. And as an one of the options, he considered Cog, because he didn't cost much. And this review helped realize that it definitely not worth ANY money.
He kinda looks like he’s wearing overalls. I love the idea of this guy being one of those Cybertronians who has a normal job, like janitor or construction worker.
I mean he does look like that yeah, but that would require Cybertronians to wear clothes, and also that is entirely your own attachment you are creating, though I suppose there is nothing wrong about that.
yeah i never understood why cog got so much phrase when every other weapon/fossilizer can do what he does but better also how did we get this but not those drones that look like impactor?
For the Meme of it I think. Everything after him was better in every way it's insane. I think we didn't get this with that original Impactor because it didn't exist yet. Red Cog was an ER thing.
Funny you should mention the colors, I never seen that color on COG of all things. Also are you sure it's torso is the color beige, I thought it was color grey!
To me, Legacy weaponizer Red Cog looks cool. It mainly comes down three reasons, the color scheme, no ties to a titan city character, and new accessories. I honestly prefer this red/gray/black color version over the Siege blue Cog. And the weapons accessories from the Netflix show are cool. The argument can be made about him being affiliated with the titan Grand Maximus from Super-God Masterforce. But it's a weak argument. As his Cog and this Red Cog don't color match. But yeah, those are the only reasons why I enjoy Red Cog aka Rog. When the weaponizers first came out in Siege, and carried over to Earthrise, I pass on it completely. Not because they parts-form, I just didn't have any interest in the characters themselves. Even if I wanted to, they would be incomplete because I don't have the titan city characters that they're affiliated with. The Weaponizers, Fasttrack and Black Roritchi, I got. Because I got Scorponok and then later Black Zarak. I don't have Brunt, but I got his repainted figure, the Centurion Drone, for the same three reasons. Slammer from Kingdom was a pass, because I don't have Sixgun or even the big guy himself Metroplex. But I got Slammer anyways, as he goes well with Warpath. Since they're both tanks. And I got to admit, among the other weaponizers, Slammer just looks cool. -Sure, there's the design fault of character that you pointed out, the alt mode is just the dude lying face down for example. So thanks for showing us that 3:29 hunter tank fan mode.
Actually there are Ties to a Titan, he's the partner of the Japanese version of the Diaclone Fortress Maximums. And I don't think you will find the color scheme as interesting in person.
Looking back at it, yeah, Red Cog could be use as the little weaponizer companion for Grand Maximus. But getting the Takara Tomy Legends exclusive Grand Maximus is a very difficult or a pipe dream. I'm just gonna have him be one of the many Cog troopers from the Netflix show.
Your target is going off what they THINK it should be since it's a deluxe, but the Price Hasbro want's charged for it is 32. With tax that gets you up around 35.
Ngl I kinda love Cog. Not that it's a good figure or something but just the fact that he's a nobody but you can still set him next to your Siege Optimus Prime like he's a classic member of the club is kinda awesome to me idk. But the thing I hate is that they released my boy Cog in red and named him fucking Red Cog are you fucking kidding me 😭 Also 2:47 I love this I love this so much
the most painful thing about this for me is that I scoured the earth for weaponizers so that I'd have a full scale combiner for the first time and just when I thought I climbed the mountain theres a wild piggy with a shotgun. How is hasbro still alive!!!?!?!
Trust me I won't I don't have a crippling addiction that slaughters my account but its the fact that I'll still just have four available weapons instead of five.
I have the Siege version of Cog and with the vehicle mode I usually keep the two halves separated and treat them like they're two separate alt modes. Looks better and makes more sense than separating them just to reattach them.
Well...he did slowly bleed to death while his friends were shooting the ship he was on without knowing he was even there. So i can understand why so many people felt bad for him during that moment, same for me.
Why didn't they make the alt mode better like in my opinion red cog's transformation could've been like jazz similar in the legs but also make the torso peice actually look like the front of a tank or a heavily modified vehicle instead of a tuning fork and as for the arms the gun on his forearm should've been removed and just kept the shoulder gun and instead of having cogs regular guns give him a energon sword or scythe.
Well they were trying to make it look like the Original Cog which was literally just a collection of guns that you could kind of form into a statue and altmode. So they achieved the very terrible thing they were trying to do.
You realize that the crotch can mount the arms on the back like Crankcases weapons, right? Using the ports on the inside of the arms to mount it, it looks pretty good. I still want this guy.
about time an actual review of rog came out that isn’t just a shoe review. Also it’ll be funny to have quake to use the gun gun gun gun gun gun barrel barrel suppressor half gernade half gernade separate thingy along with his cannon cannon cannon cannon gun gun rocket launcher (even if he’ll be topping over at this point)
Why do so many people think I was insulting Thew? I love Thew, that was NO shade on him. That's just who Thew is. Thew Loves Everything. That's not some kind of insult against the man.
Hey have you heard about the KO iron factory jet fire coming out? It’s only 30 bucks and I’m hyped. It’s slightly upscaled which I like because usually iron factory’s stuff is smaller than my love for transformers prime. I’m really looking forward to getting it because I’ve never had a jet fire and I don’t want to spend my entire life savings on siege jet fire.
I was only gonna get this so that Elita could have her sniper, but then upon seeing the price it went for in the UK I wasn't gonna get it. And now seeing this, year no way am I getting this now
Our Lord(!) won't be releasing anywhere near me, so I decided to by a Cog at a convention for €25 and I am going to say, I don't have the same issue with his leg. Granted, it was second hand so maybe it was delt with, but I think its just a QC issue with some Cogs and Rogs. But ya, this isn't a good figure. Most of the time I set up a scene, Cog is being blown up or on someone's back. It is a bad figure, but idk man, I have a goofy smile when I see it. Cog is everything wrong with WFC, toy line and show and I kinda like having him around, Now I want Rog for the accessories and because cult joke Oh well, maybe I can get Yog when that is eventually made
@@PerspectiveEnd Cog’s hand guns only fit on the arm socket, every other port including his hands, they spin round. The black wrist guns are supposed to fit into ports so the arms make a triangle-shaped elevated gun, but the paint makes them too big. Red shoulder guns the same. It goes on for each of the handles/ports. And I’ll never figure out why in a world of 5mm ports, they went with small flat peg which doesn’t hold at all to join the 2 vehicles together.
The only thing i`ve found you can do with the original cog is build him into a double barrelled gun thing for the worst titan. "fort max" he at least looks like hes supposed to go with him.
@@PerspectiveEnd Although to be clear, i only mean the Titans return version of Fortress maximus, that is a lazily designed figure that basically doesn't transform. Where as the original Fortmax is probably the best city bot IMO, with the most fully featured base form loaded with features and does SOME actual transforming. TR Fortmax on the other hand is loaded with weird vestigial structures, some even have joints but do absolutely nothing. Its actually so poor that i wish Fortmax would get a do-over but this time not as a badly formed mutant clone of metroplex.
I suppose one good thing about Rog is that he has no Titan, so there would be no worry about hunting a Titan class figure, unlike Cog, Six-Gun, Slammer, Brunt, and Fasttrack. (I know Grand Maximus exists, but I doubt he had a companion piece, plus the recent Grand Maximus is Japanese exclusive.)
And while we're on the topic of good partsformers, yes I managed to order Wingfinger (to complete my Fossilizers, and I DON'T feel the need to hunt down the colorful repaints and retools), alongside Chromia, and Legacy Ironhide (I mean (the DK-2 Guard) it's not CALLED that, but c'mon, it IS that) and Hubcap should follow suite. Just need to wait for them to show up. (And I pretty much wanted these next figures to balance out my collection a bit, since it is primarily filled with Decepticons.)
Rasket and Rrommet modes where? (Cog splits into two vehicle modes, and they're called Gasket and Grommet. And this is Red Cog/Rog here, so can you guess what Rog's vehicle modes are named that I just came up with?)
I actually really like Sixgun’s foot cannon. It’s just so big and powerful, like something from a kids space adventure for the big guy to wield. I’m sure you don’t approve but I do want to get a Cog and Sixgun to make a Rack’n’Ruin. Maybe also some Smashdowns. Basically the idea is Shockwave took the part of them disassembling to the extreme and forcibly Frankensteined them together just to see if he could. Then they join the Wreckers because they kinda hate their own existence and the Wreckers are kinda like the Autobot suicide squad. Ie they’re technically criminals (often war criminals) that are very effective killers that the higher ups don’t care about losing and are actually happy to lose as many as possible so they can stop paying to house them in prison.
@@PerspectiveEnd Cog’s arms use pegs, Sixgun’s use ports, then rearrange the legs so that it’s overall the same height and have a third one in the middle
The hinge on the forearm guns would make more sense if they could rotate the full 180 degrees to give him a pair of hand cannons.
That would make sense, unfortunately they don't make sense.

No it exists because it was an easy recolor to do for the WFC show, and since it was in the show over and over then they thought it had some value.
Red cog is also a thing from g1 Japan, he is the partner to grand maximus like regular cog was the companion to Fort Max. I think he has more significance than the centurion drone as a character but not by much XD and would have allot more if they would re-release grand max for hasbro markets.

I initially read that as "I'm sick of your vidoes" and I had a heart attack. Glad I could help you out.

Glad people like the fan mode.
Thank you for doing it.
The execution had to happen eventually.
I recently found out that the arms can plug into the rear of the legs and there’s several connection points that make it’s rear alt mode much more sturdy.
How would plugging in the arms do that?
@@PerspectiveEnd theres a ‘69’ connection (dunno what else to call it lol) when you plug into the shoulder peg into the groin port in conjunction with the knee cap peg into the forearm port. Along with some tabs on the inside of the knees that peg into the groin, the whole thing feels like a brick afterwards. The front section is hopeless tho lol

While in vehicle mode you can take the torso section and turn it around and unfold the hinge for some kind of cubertronian jet
I can not form a mental image of what that would look like.
I got really lucky with mines QC as the joints have not manged to jump out after acidently dropping it, twice
That is impressive considering this is the same problem I had with Blue Cog.
@@PerspectiveEnd mine must of been missprinted to be thicker the good kind of bad QC the one that somehow magics away the problem
@@PerspectiveEnd i have now bought the standered one as well and idk how they where storing it in the jimacian storage wearhouse it came from but some how it was all too tight and i had to was it to get the joints to move without them feeling like they would snap if i forced them
When I got mine, the head wasn’t even glued together properly. It’s like they wanted me to decapitate him
I wanted you to decapitate him for sure.

I like to use it as a little carriage for micro and battle masters
Still though, who cares if it doesn’t look like anything, it’s a space vehicle, they’re not trying to disguise themselves, it’s just something to get from point A to point B
True, but that doesn't mean it can't resemble a practical vehicle.
Look at Seige, look at the Bumblebee portion of Studio Series.
They're alien while still clearly being vehicles.
@@skuffy4930 still though
The point is that we’re not supposed to care because they’re not supposed to be based on anything realistic
For all we know Cog’s vehicle mode could be very effective on Cybertron
I mean I care IMMENSILY. I like when I look at an altmode, and can tell what things are and what their purpose is, plus they should be actual passenger vehicles as 1 there are many smaller Cybertronian Races, and 2 they were canonically made as a Slave race for organics in G1. So those modes serve their masters intentions.

I'd actually use some random guns for my transformers since few i have lost theirs (Carmode shatter, Mutant Tigatron) and few would just use some guns in general (Dinobot, for example, to, sort of, replicate the coming of the fuzors part 1 ending)
This in not something I took into account, though Dinobot can't exactly hold normal guns since his peg for it is on the front of his palms.
@@PerspectiveEnd there is a lego piece called "technic pin with friction ridges and pin hole" which can be plugged into dinobot's hands and used as a 5mm port for the normally held weapons.

yeah i never understood why cog got so much phrase when every other weapon/fossilizer can do what he does but better also how did we get this but not those drones that look like impactor?
Because Cog was first?
I don't like the fossilizers, so Cog is good for me.
It is in fact Grey, but I'd already used Grey so I didn't want to repeat the word too many times in sequence, and Beige sounded good there.
Y’all are paying voyager for him?
My target says he’s only deluxe. And I still won’t pick him up
Your target is going off what they THINK it should be since it's a deluxe, but the Price Hasbro want's charged for it is 32. With tax that gets you up around 35.
@@PerspectiveEnd aight then. Another reason to really not buy him
Ngl I kinda love Cog. Not that it's a good figure or something but just the fact that he's a nobody but you can still set him next to your Siege Optimus Prime like he's a classic member of the club is kinda awesome to me idk. But the thing I hate is that they released my boy Cog in red and named him fucking Red Cog are you fucking kidding me 😭
Also 2:47 I love this I love this so much
Glad you liked that bit, and I'd be down for a nobody, I'd just want it to be a good figure.
the most painful thing about this for me is that I scoured the earth for weaponizers so that I'd have a full scale combiner for the first time and just when I thought I climbed the mountain theres a wild piggy with a shotgun. How is hasbro still alive!!!?!?!
I mean you can just chose to not buy this.
I mean at that point you just have two nothings instead of one. At least as far as I see it.
@@PerspectiveEnd Yeah I guess you have a point there. 😂
So a mould as disposable as a red shirt is used for red shirts
It must be satisfying for people who hate cog to see him die over and over
I won't lie it kind of is.
A little surprised you didn't cover the compatibility this thing has with ER Arcee, especially since you brought her up.
I didn't even think of how that happened in the show. That one scene wasn't really worth the mental space to me.
Apparently there are rumors that they're making a Sg Soundwave with the Er/Netflix mold and I'm just wondering how they're do his headband
I'd heard that, and man I want that so much more than the normal one. Let's hope it's real cloth goods.
Finnaly a review on cog
I did nothing like this before now in no way shape or form.
I was thinking about getting this guy but I also didn’t wanna be late for the bus so i went home rog-less
That bus saved you.
So you don't like it?
I knew I was too Subtle with this video.
Well...he did slowly bleed to death while his friends were shooting the ship he was on without knowing he was even there. So i can understand why so many people felt bad for him during that moment, same for me.
That was like the one thing in Earthrise that made me feel anything, so I think it must have been an accident.
Angry Perspective is back!!!!!
At least this time.
You realize that the crotch can mount the arms on the back like Crankcases weapons, right? Using the ports on the inside of the arms to mount it, it looks pretty good. I still want this guy.
It is sad that this is the only real way to get the Choom Choom Action.
Amazing video
Thank you!
The thing i would do with the bombs is give them to earthrise wheeljack on the shoulders and fore arms to give him somemore green but thats just me
Does he have effect ports on his shoulders? I can't remember.

I dont know why but i love him. Bought 4 of him. Mostly for the weapons. But still i like hime for some reason
Glad you like it but, man you are setting us all back in the fight to not have this sell well.
@@PerspectiveEnd sorry to do that . But hey i aint gonna buy anymore
I have seen that, I'm really considering getting it. If just to update the WTB Jetfire Rankings.
I got a version of the mould with the clear plastic mirage and the decepticon impactor.
I was only gonna get this so that Elita could have her sniper, but then upon seeing the price it went for in the UK I wasn't gonna get it. And now seeing this, year no way am I getting this now
I understand the temptation, but I would like to point out that would just be you reminding your self of the WFC if you did that.
Cog is everything wrong with WFC, toy line and show and I kinda like having him around, Now I want Rog for the accessories and because cult joke
Oh well, maybe I can get Yog when that is eventually made
I supposed he would be useful for being killed at least.
My biggest complaint with the original Cog is the 5mm ports aren’t all 5mm, so some guns fall out and some won’t go in some ports.
They aren't?
@@PerspectiveEnd Cog’s hand guns only fit on the arm socket, every other port including his hands, they spin round. The black wrist guns are supposed to fit into ports so the arms make a triangle-shaped elevated gun, but the paint makes them too big. Red shoulder guns the same. It goes on for each of the handles/ports.
And I’ll never figure out why in a world of 5mm ports, they went with small flat peg which doesn’t hold at all to join the 2 vehicles together.
The only thing i`ve found you can do with the original cog is build him into a double barrelled gun thing
for the worst titan. "fort max" he at least looks like hes supposed to go with him.
THANK YOU! Fort Max sucks so much. He's just so lame!
2:48 Furmanism much? ("Sheagh!")
Cool fanmode.
Maybe it's got something to do with his head being all RED (not that toyline, heehee), with only his visor being painted, if that's the case.
How do you plan to attach the two of them then?
@@PerspectiveEnd Cog’s arms use pegs, Sixgun’s use ports, then rearrange the legs so that it’s overall the same height and have a third one in the middle
I got an idea for a week, the week of good boys, where you talk about the most loyal decepticons, like inferno, lugnut, soundwave and sky byte
