      @k1sfd1974 5 лет назад +13

      Oh.. I don't know... I think he navigates the ship Andertons just fine... top U.K. Retailer, one of the top EU retailers, with the help of Chappers (or really the Monkey Lord at the time), he started internet videos and marketing long before it was really a thing, not to mention the multitude of informative 'opinion' videos on guitars and gear. You know the... "here is what it sounds like" and if he, and/or Chappers liked/disliked it - not really a "it's good/bad" which I appreciate, as everyone has their own tastes. Then the actual starting and investing in their own RUclips channel...
      In the end, I'd say he's sailing that ship rather well! As evidenced by the Porsche, Rolex, and multi-Thousand £ guitars! 😏✌🏼

      That was a dumb, anti-scientific "blind taste test." The captain was obviously fattening the scores of guitars that had the telltale Les Paul shape. Not only that, blindly fumbling around on a guitar for a few seconds doesn't tell you much about how the guitar plays or whether you're going to have a long term appreciation for the tone (And I'm a Gibson player by the way; I don't have a PRS.)

    fun fact. what Paul said about train tracks being the same width as a carriage is true. But how did they come up with the width of the carriages? Two horses asses. The wheels had to be wider than the horses so when the wheels made grooves in the road the horses wouldn't trip. So train tracks are just wider than two horses asses.

      Agreed he just wants to sell guitars. Since PRS stopped making the models I liked I lost interest in them. I want good playing functional guitars.

      The first time I ever saw him was on Andertons and I thought he was a difficult, egomaniacal asshole. But having seen a few of his interviews since then i must say i warmed to his ways. He still is a difficult, egomaniacal asshole but in a good way, its part of his eccentric charm.

    When are Andertons expecting stock of these Paul's guitar SE models. I ordered one days ago and still there's no sign of it arriving.

    The most awkward duo ever. I thought I wouldn't see them together after PRS thought the Captain said he doesn't practice enough, yet here we are.

    So is that the only PRS guitar that has a decent split coil sound?

    Been a PRS guy for 2 years now (check my unboxing vid) and I'm never looking back. I love Gibsons...don't get me wrong, but my PRS is just so much easier to play, and 3 POUNDS LIGHTER. My old back likes that.

    Was expecting things to get really heated between these two (based on the silversky video). Really nice how they just ended up having a friendly chat haha
