Paul is the sweetest guy on earth. Besides the high quality of his instruments, he's an absolute genuine gentleman. Paul is without a doubt the reason I'll always be proud to play PRS.
Paul is a true gentleman. I am happy to see good things happen to good people, and Lee deserves all the accolades he gets. Well done Paul, you made MY day.
That's so awesome. Paul seems so down to earth. I love it when huge companies don't care about sales and actually care about the people. That's amazing.
Paul Reed Smith is such a great person. That is such a kind act. Like how many other guitar company's have gave the captain his own guitar just by surprise. That's how much of a kind person he is.
I'm in tears, man. Paul is a great guy, with a great heart. Andertons and Chappers' videos have already helped me a lot, with some difficults and new stuff that I learn everyday. Great mans will always be great mans, and Paul is showing that these great mans must receive their thanks. Thank you, Lee for all of your great videos and for being the great person that you are!
This is why I love Mr Paul Reed Smith, the amount of passion love and thanks he has towards everyone who helps him out with the company is just amazing. Congrats Captain
Captain, you are very deserving of this fantastic guitar. I've watched your videos for a few years now and what you bring to the guitar world is special. Andertons and the group of players you showcase are all so spectacular and just nice people that it's a channel I always look forward to seeing. Mr PRS, Thank you for giving this guitar to Lee. Now, Captain, play the heck out of it and we want to hear it.
Every time I've spoken to Paul during Gear Fest at Sweetwater hes been nothing but the most pleasant and attentive person! He engages you in conversation and appreciates your feedback! Keep the love of music and mucians alive Mr. Smith!!! :-)
Paul Reed Smith is a legend - making great playing and beautiful guitars affordable. Lee I hope you have great fun with the new guitar. Thank you Lee , Rob, Pete (tusind tak), and all the team at Andertons for all the fun demos and banter.
This is absolutely amazing!! Lee really deserves this! What he and his team have done for music companies all over the world is astonishing! And as the very generous Paul said, there are now no borders between countries when it comes to music! Brilliant!
I've only been playing guitar a couple months and have been watching your videos since I started, and this video is just truly touching. Can't wait to keep practicing so I can get good enough to justify buying one of his guitars. After watching this I wouldn't want to buy from anyone else, what a genuine group of guys
Man, i didn't think i could be more of a fan boy of paul then i seen this. what a incredible act. i will never forget the felling of sitting down and playing my prs for the first time. some day i hope to meet him.
Sharing the joy of playing nice guitar..... Oh, Captain, my captain.... yeah.... you deserve that wonderful guitar for all you have done connecting the community of guitarists all throughout the world. Thank you for it all.
Congratulations Captain Lee. You deserve it. You're so humble, patient, and passionate. Thank you for persevering with the videos, love them all, keep them coming! Please start using your new guitar on the videos. Respect from Canada!
I was lucky enough to meet Paul once, he really is that nice. He didn't give me a guitar but he is a genuinely good guy, deeply passionate about what he does and happy to share his time.
At the risk of getting sappy or sentimental or whatever, Lee is right. What's made the Anderton's videos successful is the joy that the players seem to take, the sense that you're sitting around with your mates talking about guitar and the sense that they all seem to appreciate that getting to play these guitars and make videos about them is a sweet gig.
If Paul Reed Smith had given me a guitar I don't know if I would've fainted, cried or peed my pants. He must be an amazing person. Congratulations, Captain Lee!
I love how speechless this made lee. It is soo cool that paul does this stuff. He heard about lees video and made it happen. Thats awesome. Cant wait to bring my own home.
The guys at PRS are outstanding. Not only Paul, but sure, the leader gives the pace! Lots of guy find PR cocky and so. I find that he loves its work, its company. And he knows he has achieved a great accomplishment. Imagine start as repair man in your garage and now having a company that stand next to big G and F ones? I bet most people would get much more cocky than Paul by now! So, I loved that genuine act, a retribution for a good job from Anderson, a friendship (just look at the interviews between both of them), and well... great
Love this! You don't see any of the other big guitar brands handing out great guitars in appreciation very often. I've been following Paul & Lee's videos for years and they often give each other gifts (T-Shirts) at these interviews and it is cool seeing Paul 1-up the gift this year. This is the kind of advertising that pays off in the long run, because people want to buy products from companies they can relate and look up too.
That is absolutely awesome Lee! Well done Mr. Smith! What a beautiful thing to do. My estimation of PRS just skyrocketed! I welled up on your behalf brother!
I just love how these guys, the captain and mr. chapman, are so close to Paul, and I love how Paul shows his love to them. It's nice to see. I wish I could be friends with Paul too, cool guy. haha
Lee, you have been a great ambassador for not only PRS but just geeky guitar guys watching youtube and hanging on every minute. Congrats and enjoy the bejeepers out of that guitar!
Paul is such a little kid at heart. I had the chance to meet him once in Nashville. What a stand-up dude. Happy for you Captain Lee, play the hell out of her brother. lol
If Mr Paul Reed Smith personally handed me my personal PRS that he was going to give to me for free for me to keep, I would 100% pass out in disbelief and joy/excitement. The Captain deserves it way way more than I do but that doesn't stop me from being jealous :)
Moments like this are few and far between. Unfortunately we see more negative news than we do positive. Lee, just pay it foward, Maybe give a returning customer an extra discount, or add a few free setups to a sale, not give away a guitar, but something to pass on to someone else as a lesson from this precious memory. Obviously, Paul saw in his heart that you deserved this gift for all your hard work and also for helping PRS Guitars. Pat yourself on the back. And Paul, I just met you 2 weeks ago at your factory through Sean Littleton. You are truly an amazing man, a Genius in guitar making, and someone who has not forgotten where he came from and who is still to this day ,32 years after starting PRS in 1985, as grounded and humble as they come. Thank you for sharing your talent with the masses worldwide
best video of the year for me. An amazing gesture from one amazing artist to a very humble man!!! Many thanks to both of you for keeping my passion alive!
Not only does PRS make THE most beautiful guitars in the world Paul is a true gentleman. I litterally teared up when he gave Chapper's that guitar.

J Cheek get well soon man!
He gave Chappers one a while back.

Paul Reed Smith is such a great person. That is such a kind act.
Like how many other guitar company's have gave the captain his own guitar just by surprise.
That's how much of a kind person he is.
Lee, you totally deserved this gift, Paul say it, by what you provide to the worldwide guitar community.
What an awesome show of character from both Paul and Lee. Both great and humble men. That was really cool to see.

Its amazing that out of all the guitars that go through Lee's store THIS is THE guitar he lusts after. And Paul was so generous to give him one. Wow!

Brilliant!
What a nice guy. Giving him THE best gift. Captain almost cried.
I've only been playing guitar a couple months and have been watching your videos since I started, and this video is just truly touching. Can't wait to keep practicing so I can get good enough to justify buying one of his guitars. After watching this I wouldn't want to buy from anyone else, what a genuine group of guys
Awesome! Gotta love guys like that, he really brings a personal touch to the business.
Man, i didn't think i could be more of a fan boy of paul then i seen this. what a incredible act. i will never forget the felling of sitting down and playing my prs for the first time. some day i hope to meet him.
This is one of the reasons I love PRS and am glad to own one. Hey Lee, now to do a demo/review video of your new guitar!!!
I actually felt emotional about this vid. The Captain was just handed a lifetime memory
Congrats Lee, well deserved
Sharing the joy of playing nice guitar..... Oh, Captain, my captain.... yeah.... you deserve that wonderful guitar for all you have done connecting the community of guitarists all throughout the world. Thank you for it all.
Damn dude, that brought tears to my eyes. A PRS from the man himself given to the Cpt as a gift- that's class. Rock on!
Beautiful. Didn't think Lee was gonna hold it together. Love PRS!
Paul is such a genuine guy. The look on Lee's face when he chucked the guitar was priceless.
The child like enthusiasm that the Captain displayed brought a real smile to my face.

Congrats Cpt. Lee. Well deserved and may you have many memorable years of playing that guitar. Greets from South Africa.
Lee said he wanted one and then gets one gifted to him, how awesome is that ! Enjoy making music on that beautiful guitar.
That Paul segment is the best NAMM video of the show - amazing. Lee you are a lucky bugger! Love the bromance too!
That is just the sweetest thing I've ever seen. Paul is such a good dude.
I love this video. The first thing Lee plays on his new guitar is an A major chord then the “Captain Lee” lick
What a BEAUTIFUL gesture of appreciation and friendship!
If Paul Reed Smith had given me a guitar I don't know if I would've fainted, cried or peed my pants. He must be an amazing person. Congratulations, Captain Lee!
