Got mine on order can't wait for it to arrive. All the changes I want to a strat (1 tone, flatter radius, better trem/bridge, side jack instead of top) at a great price, from a great builder.
Awesome video guys! Schecter is one of my favorite guitar brands. The woods and finishes are stellar, and I love that there's so many neck through options to choose from.

I got my 1st Schecter about a year ago, and I have to say it quickly became my favorite. its stays in tune, takes beating, and I've had no set up issues. I have to give credit were its due. I've modified a lot of Fenders, and have Gibson's that cost 3 times the money and have constant tuning issues and intonation problems.(and I love my Gibson's but really) I think my next guitar will probably be A Solar(just because I've played one and its a beast), But Schecter won me over.
The NAMM coverage is always the highlight of the year. The silliness, the alcohol, the sudden vocal noises, even the comment section is on fire. I hope for a video where we get to see a piss drunk Captain brought to tears by the hand shake of John Mayer.
I'm definitely siked about this newer version of nick johnston's signature! Can't wait to get my hands on one. Roasted maple neck and ebony fretboard! They did not skimp!
I'm excited about that Indo NJ signature. I almost bought the USA one 2 years ago, but went with Suhr instead. This year I'm probably getting another Suhr so this being lower price is awesome :D

I hope they expand the NJ range to include more colours and a maple fretboard, it’s like a perfect Strat for players used to shreddy guitars
The super shredder pick ups suck, no sustain, but the build quality for the money is still worth doing some updates, great neck, frets all filed great, great prices...etc.
I have the Lambo, didn't like the active Hot 70s set either, I thought they got muddy with high gain settings, ripped everything out, including that super-sensitive toggle. Went "actual" passive. Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge, Air Norton in the neck, EP1111 toggle, push/pull tone to get split coils. Very versatile now.
I love the look of the new Riot basses.

I’m surprised Pete thought multiscale and fan fret were different things. Fanned Frets are just a side effect of having different length (multiscale) strings.
It takes about 10 minutes to brush up your Fishman knowledge :) One 7 string acoustic and one or two multiscales? What happened to the ERGs at Schecter this year? Looking forward to the rest of your NAMMbelishments.

How cool is Nick Johnson! Great personality. This is the best NAMM 2019 booth visit so far. Schecter guitars are by far the most creatively designed guitars, both past and present! By the way, I don't play heavy metal. Schecters can play anything and everything I throw at it. Well built and beautiful- (Women and guitars! all I need!!!) Thanks for the awesome post Andertons!
Schecter really needs to hire that guy Dovydas to perform at NAMM the guy is brilliant by himself and uses Schecter guitars.

While he had a tremendous respect for, and a vast knowledge of, the music and musicians that preceded him, let’s not forget that Jimi Hendrix was pushing the envelope live and in the studio.
He was considered “extreme’ in his time.
Jimi Hendrix was no conservative, overly nostalgic, “back-in-my-day””, fuddy-duddy.
And could someone please look at the EMG product line and realize their best pickups are not the 81/85 set, haven’t been for a long time...

got a Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid C-8 Electric Guitar, 8-String from zz and the Neck pickup volume is controlled by rear/back most pot, and the Bridge pickup is controlled by the front or forward volume pot. zz just sold it to me and said to bother Schecter, Schecter said it is supposed to be that way because people like the bridge pickup and want the volume up front to be handy. I don't buy it, (well I did, over eleven hundred), their story that is... any thoughts? {I figured they got in a lot/batch that had the pickups backwards and decided not to loose money rating them B-stock and chose to sell them with a lie, funny they did not mention the backwards electronics in their advertising, funny no mention of the control layouts elsewhere}. zz blew me off and I've bought 4 guitars in 40 days from them, Schecter made up an excuse and refused to fix the defect citing it is "Supposed to be that way", thus also blowing me off. That's alot of money for a defective product that neither the seller or manufacturer will fix, had it 3 weeks.

Nice guitars, don't know a damn thing about the Fishman affluence pickups... Still, Shecter has always been a little hellraiser in the guitar market.
Aint1S Fishman Fluence pickups are active AND non-active pickups at the same time. They are considered active but the way they are made and sound is more non-active. Tonsin Abasi explains it better than I! The pickups are immense though, some of the best sounding pickups I’ve heard ever.
