I don't want to be negative, but this car is a highway bomber, a pure GT (that's why it's called that). The high weight generates an extremely high wear with these vehicle data, you know it from the E63s - Conclusion: Every 20,000 km a new brake front and rear (ie 5000 k€). In addition, there is the high loss of value, which makes only a used car purchase (2-3 years) seem reasonable.
I had an AMG and used downshifting extensively to slow the vehicle. Braking only when absolutely necessary. The dealership maintenance tech asked about my low brake wear during the scheduled brake maintenance.
Make no mistake, this is one beautiful looking Mercedes. Very disappointed that there will be no cabriolet option, which makes this car less desirable than the competition.
In everyday driving situations, the GT couldn't match the Porsche 911;s performance? how is that actualized? this is a car that's yet to be released to the market beside not being fully reviewed by long term users. are u preempting?
