Mercedes finally made a goodlooking aesthetic sports car not just a fast car that has an appeling interior
I disagree 100% on the interior. The 2016 actually had a much finer interior with switches, dials and real actual coachwork. These dime store molded in screens are destroying the entire car industry. They WILL NOT age well. In twenty years, we will be laughing at these interiors as the industry (thankfully) returns to its roots of fine engineering over iPad idiocy. Pagani and Bugatti are the only exotics still making proper interiors.

I used to think that until I bought 2 different Bentleys...go drive and spend time in a modern Bentley or Rolls Royce first before you say that again lol...their build quality and reliability are way above Mercedes....I've owned both...Bentley is far better with build quality and also with reliability believe it or not ...

I’m an owner of an AMG GTS and I Love it! This looks a bit polished and less brutal if I’m honest. I see BMW front and Toyota back influences. I’m sure it’s a wonderful car but I’ll keep mine a bit longer .
Same here. The interior resembles that of any other $40K vehicle with its iPad graphics nonsense.
I want my interiors resembling the beauty of a luxury watch. Not a handheld cellphone.

They got the proportions right on this. There is the almost fatal flaw of the iPad controller that is a horrific blight on this perfection, like a wart on a supermodel.
The iPad itself is even worse. NO MORE screen obsession. Interiors in high end cars should resemble high end coachwork of metal gauges and switches. Leave the dime store screens to Toyota and Hyundai.
@@bedlambikes Exactly, the whole care end to end should be a mechanical marvel like the highest end sports watch, and the gauges should look like a fine Swiss watch.
@@antikytheramechanism7909 you know it! Everyone seems to agree, except the auto manufacturers don’t seem to care. Until they change their ways, I won’t buy another new car again. I’ve purchased over 20 brand new cars in my lifetime, but now it’s strictly used for me.

I'm not very impressed with the interior I'll be honest. There's a lot of unremarkable trim in there. It's unfortunate cause the rest of the car is a masterpiece. The cabin is lacking in my opinion.

Makes me sick to even type this.... I might actually take this over a 911 Carrera4 GTS, and that's saying a lot! (But not over a Turbo S or GT3, I haven't completely lost it)
From the rear, it resembles a 911 with its subtle rear wing and wide body
@@vincekara9446 Yes it absolutely have a very porshe-like styling to the rear roof slope and extra wide haunches.
However I was a little hasty in my OP. I would actually NEVER take this over a new Turbo S.... But The 911 Carrera 4S or even GTS is more in the same class as the GT63... And then yes I might very well have the AMG over a Carrera 4S, or even a Carrera4 GTS.
But not the Turbo S or GT3.
