Sytner Cheltenham had one when I picked up ,my lowly S/H Mercedes SLC - it was parked in front and they had to move it - the entire building shook

Very smart that they made it a hatchback: it makes the vehicle far more practical and useful, something that all cars should be (at least somewhat) unless it is a dedicated track car.

I love this car! Great presentation Patrick! This car is all about performance. And if you are watching the other sport car manufacturers their prices are hitting that $5000,000 mark. This hits the $300,000. I would buy one and have Maybach add their special touches boost the hp numbers to meet the competitors.

Such a beautiful car. What's the sound like in person? One of my favourite things about the previous gen GT was hearing and feeling the rumble of the V8 throughout the entirety of the interior - do you still get that with the new GT?
You still get that feeling for sure - might be a bit muted compared to the previous gen but feels more nibble!
If you can listen to that all day, after driving the LC 500 you’ll be moving in!😀

Is there a “pass thru” from the trunk if the back seat option is not chosen?
Without the rear seat option the back is in the fixed position and will not fold unfortunately.
What car ad did you get? Mine was an Electric Lotus!!! Interestingly we do have a Lotus Elise

Hey, the interior is exactly the same as the SL since it is the same base. So the rear seats are the same as in the SL. Only difference in the GT is, that you can fold/flip them over, so you can actually fit a Bike in the GT.
The seats are slightly different as you said but size is similar for sure - The infotainment system is the same.

So there is a new GTR version coming? Because it hasn't been revealed yet, although there are some prototypes testing on the Nürburgring.

I love the exterior! such a nice looking car, but (as so often these days) the interior is maybe not the best looking. The steering wheel looks really nice, but that I wish you could hide that big screen. I also love how Bugatti went for analog dials in their new super car, so I would love a smaller infotainment screen, and analog dials on the dash in the next version

This is one of my favorite looking cars but when you sit in it the front is just to long like most of the corvette and I don’t like that . Mid or rear engine cars are better for my liking. 😊
The previous design felt longer from the inside than this one but yes, still a front engine vehicle.
Does the exhaust sound come from the speakers?
No.. this is a V8 so no need. On some of our electric and new mild-hybrid models, this is a feature.

I like the 4 door GT AMG 63. This is nice but for short people like many Fast Cars are
I'm 6 foot and fit fine.. but if you are much taller than that, it would start getting tight haha.

Trying to stay with the times... not as big as some of the other product but definitely a new look for the inside.
I know right! I wish these premium brands would just go back to analog dials and then you can just control all the electronics from your phone
Does it turn off at the red light?
Yes, all vehicles have this feature as a mandatory addition however you can turn it off right under the start engine button.
@@MercedesBenzBurlington turn it off every time I turn the car on? This is why I haven’t bought a new car since 2012. Cars nowadays come equipped with moronic features. It needs to end.

On the wheel arches of their cars they are obliged to have the same reflectors that we used to put in the spokes of our bikes when we were six years old.
We got them free from cereal packets.
Those aren't even bad... what I don't like are the "Bumperette" we must but on all vehicles with a seamless rear bumper.

I am gonna pause on 3:01 and type something fairly sad... "Look, this car is nothing but a dream for me (If I weren`t actually bmw fan, but it`s a dream of a coupe anyway... but I don`t actually dream in Mercedes"... but (the actual but)... Look... If it is gonna be ... why even dream of this Mercedes... when V16 Bugatti Exists... I mean I cannot dream of any sort of Mercedes (if and when I am dreaming of a car)... when V16 Bugatti... and if I actually "plan" on a car (which I don`t and possibly never within my life will I be able to full fledgedly do so as someone born with the actual chance) it simply will be bmw. It is not even gonna be M8 and it`s attempt to be V8 muscle car... It`s gonna be stupid Bi Turbo I6 M4 ~manual. I am not saying this Mercedes is not better than it (that described M4) or the M8 (coupe, of course I am talking coupes here)... I am just saying it is not the V16 Bugatti and M4 is still actually a car more than it is a ~dream. But still I am pretty sure a self respecting Mercedes enjoyer, in this one AMG GT 63 Coupe will mandatory make any M4 fan regret their life decisions and choices by default under all the possible road conditions... and in the rest of what life is too :P. So there is that as a saving grace... And the chances you will ever in either car ever encounter the V16 Bugatti are non existent, so no real worries about that.
You need to dream of having a larger garage my friend. Where there is room for all the great cars of the world haha!

Remember when Mercedes mentioned AMG, they couldn’t help going on about the V8….4min into a 12min video and still going on about Paint colours. Bring back a V8 and get rid of that ipad if you want AMG enthusiast to take you guys seriously.

They really need to stop making videos like this. Drive it like a you tuber. Take the damn back wheels into the oblivion. Make people understand why they should buy it. This clean approach needs to be scrapped
We prefer the sound of "Clean Approach" so thank you - We have to take car of our cars and treat them properly over here but if you buy something, you should show us how to destroy the rear wheels! Sounds like fun ha-ha.
Mercedes cars don’t retain value. Plus Mercedes infotainment system is so bad. One of the main reasons why I don’t even consider their cars anymore.
What cars do retain value in this type of vehicle.

None of them do except a few. It's not as horrible as some. MB depreciates 30 % off the jump but I be see a few with 60%!

The ones made in America hold less value but the ones assembled in Germany hold up better. This model is made in Germany so they’d use better materials than in US made cars
