Glad you managed to get out Francois, Happy New Year. Its always special to meet a subscriber, great to know somebody likes your content enough to click the button. I think you are sensible not to spend a long time reviewing what has already gone. My 2022 aim was to be alive at the end of it. Thankfully I managed that and will keep the same aim for 2023. This year has not started very well, I was infected by the grandchildren over Christmas and I am slowly recovering from a horrible cold. First year for many years that I haven't started the New Year with a run. I hope to get out soon and try to run that first mile. Take care.

Thanks for the support as always. Although I managed to get out NYD, unfortunately I’m now resting a niggle in my lower leg which is a shame. Sorry to hear you’ve been ill. There’s been quite a bit going round so get well soon and cherish that’ll ooze first few mile of this year when you get to it! Stay strong and keep pushing! 💪🏼👍

I've got unfinished business on the Cotswold Way. Such a beautiful part of the country! Wishing you safe running this year and I hope you stay fit and well. My main race goal is Race to the Stones but I'm also really looking to a 4 day running holiday on the Scottish Borders running the St.Cuthberts Way.

So have I! Hope we can both get it done and enjoy the process and journey. Thanks and good luck in your training, see you there!

@@CotswoldTrailRunner Saw first hand what a brutally hard race it is, but was so inspired to see Jack make it into Bath with only 9 mins to spare, I've got to give it a go...

I'm so glad Jack made it! That's what it's all about, personal goals and digging deep, pushing through when you think you're least likely to. It'll be equally tough for everyone but such an achievement when it all comes together. Best of luck with training, hopefully see you out on the trail and at the start line!
