  • Can I run 102 miles in under 24hours?
The Cotswold Way Century, 102 miles of non-stop racing from Chipping Campden to Bath along the beautiful Cotswold Way National Trail
If you think the Cotswolds are full of gentle, rolling hills, you'd be right. However, this route takes you up and down the escarpments over and over again to make sure you get to enjoy every hilltop viewpoint and a host of chocolate-box villages nestled in the valleys. It's hilly. It's hard. To those who have finished, it's amazing. To many who haven't, it's really quite difficult…

Great journey, felt like I experienced as well. I walked the Cotswold Way once and cannot imagine running it within a day. Production and music choice was also 💯. Well done mate 👍😎

It was an absolute pleasure running with you for the first part of the race - and huge kudos for going so far under 24 hours, let alone finishing it! I hugely enjoyed your commentary throughout- it was spot on 👍🏼
P.S. I believe the pretty village was Stanton 😂

Great video Francois and congrats on the sub-24. A wonderful race and route on my home trails, was going so well until it wasn't ☹️. One misplaced step on a tree root and race over in a second. Limped to Painswick but not my day, but will be stronger for the experience next year 🙂

Sorry to hear about the injury, another friend of mine also dropped out on a twisted ankle. This was my 3rd time so keep coming back and you’ll get it done. Thanks for the support 👍

Great video Francois, I managed to finish too... My first 100 miler.. it was the last 20 for me also, that were the dig deep miles. But never thought of giving up. Maybe told myself 'never again' a couple of times.... well done on sub 24 too mate...

Francois, a truly superb video. Expertly narrated, bringing the soul-searching, resilience-making, ups and downs to life in a way ‘we’ ultra runners know only too well. I am so very pleased for you, you smashed your goal with a super sub-24 (and some!) ,testament to your commitment, your discipline, and strength of character. See you on the trails my Strava friend! 💪💪
