Hi Dani, In the 1970s, Led Zeppelin were considered the greatest hard rock band in the world. Their most iconic song is "Stairway To Heaven." Kids that grew up in the 1970s loved Led Zeppelin and, when hard rock radio stations did a fan voted survey of the greatest classic hard rock songs of all time, "Stairway To Heaven" was always voted #1. I'm glad you chose to do a reaction video to that song. Love your channel.

I'd say they actually came of age in the late 60's....I saw them in LA in 1969 just after getting home from VietNam. The power of their music and message was amazing. The talents of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page were incredible - you can imagine how mesmerizing their live performance was . I had heard of them in '68 because they were becoming so popular in the UK.

The number one song of all time...Led Zeppelin knows how to move someone with a song. By your reaction to this song I can see that if totally affects your soul. If anyone believes in music and that when words fail music speaks this song is speaking to your soul. You may not understand what it means completely but it moves you where nothing else can. .Dani you life will never be the same after listening to this song. It grabs you and doesn't let you go. Dani, I am very impressed with your interpretation of this song's meaning. Most just think it's a "pretty song", but you actually listened/read and came up with a pretty concise opinion. Bravo young lady! Very impressive!! I would suggest you listen to "Babe, I'm going to leave you" (one of their first songs) or if you care to see the faces behind the music, "Since I've been lovin' you" live from MSG, 1973. Robert Plant hits a note around 8:20 into this link (ruclips.net/video/1gHlbHtdVLU/видео.html) that I still to this day cannot believe. Enjoy the Zep rabbit hole...it runs deep (pun intended)!

It most definitely is and you nailed the understanding of it Dani. One of the greatest rock songs of all.

I love watching the next generation getting into the music that I listened to in my youth. This song was recorded in 1971, which is going to be 50 years old very soon. Hard to believe for me. Thank you for reacting. The full stereo effect is not on your video, but I'm not sure what you're listening to whether or not you're getting the full stereo effect of the song. That's the fun about older music is they did a lot of experimenting with recording. The Beatles producers were notorious for putting the instruments and vocals on different audio channels and having it come out like that on your speakers. Headphones it would even be more noticeable.

More than just the music on these reaction videos, it is so nice to see young people listening to rock stroke progressive stroke sixties and seventies music. We lived through this period of the mid sixties to late seventies. I never thought at the time that so many of today's young people would be getting as much joy out of what we considered normal at the time. Because it was a part of our life, it became a part of our life and in a way I think we are passing on a bit of ourselves to the younger generation. Kind of like takes away the old cliche "You old git". It brings us together. I also wish you the best in your endeavors.

Hey Dani Uncle J- man here. Ok some classic rock and roll. This is my favorite song by Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant had a great voice and Jimmy Paige was an excellent guitarist you had John Bonhan on drums and John Paul Jones on keyboard. I was about12 when my friend Robert first played their Stairway To Heaven album and I fell in love with them. Although they were heavy metal they were influenced by Blues and folk music as well. You brought back a lot of memories. I think you should do more classic rock groups.

I just got one of your videos as a suggestion today, because of my recent attraction to reaction videos. I will often check out one or two, while looking at the video archive for the other songs reacted to. I also make sure new videos are still coming and factor in stuff like frequency and variety before subscribing or not.
First, was surprised to see the videos start over a decade ago, so kudos for longevity. Secondly, I was super impressed with YOUR voice, subsequently saddened to see the need for vocal chords surgery, then elated to see you made a full recovery and it did not affect your singing voice. Third, you are very easy on the eyes, I'm sure it gets old though having random dudes on the internet tell you pretty/beautiful/sexy you are especially since that's not the point of these videos. Finally, maybe because I'm new to reaction videos, I've not seen any other comparison/reaction videos before, so that definitely got you some love.
I am curious, unless I missed something, there is only one video of you singing after the surgery videos, so are they somewhere else?
I understand that you may be busy, and heck, you may not even bother reading this comment, but the whole point is that you stood out, and it's not so easy to get on my rotation as I have several reactors I already enjoy, and so I want you to know good job! Look forward to future reactions from you, but also more videos of you singing. Unless I'm just completely behind and you have music for sale somewhere in not aware of, then of course point me in the direction and I will.

Thankfully, I got through it successfully and I’m feeling better than ever. I have released one song since recovery and then began doing reaction videos...now that my channel audience is growing, I am going to be releasing a lot more music and merchandise and I am SO excited to do so.
You can also find music of mine on Apple Music, Spotify, all streaming services!

"In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke thru the trees, and the voices of those who stand looking."
"And a new day will dawn for those who stand long, and the forests will echo with laughter."

Elvis himself said once at a concert " we better behave we got the Led Zeppelin here tonight"
And they were! They talked for an hour or more with Elvis backstage..when they were to leave Elvis turned and started singing "if you ever go,darling i'll be oh so lonley" from song Love Me ...Great days!

Always fascinating to see people's reaction to this classic. Here's my take...this song is about the pursuit of happiness and the clues are right there in the lyrics. When they say "there's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold and she's buying a stairway to heaven, I think the "lady" is figurative and just as it's foolish to think all that glitters is gold, it's foolish to think you can buy happiness. The "piper" they talk about is like society pushing you on saying you can have anything you want. If you want happiness, go out there and get it but it's an illusion because the more you strive to go after happiness, the more elusive it is.
The lines that tie it all together for me are "Your stairway lies on the whispering wind", "if you listen very hard, the tune will come to you at last", "When all are one and one is all", "To be a rock and not to roll". These are saying that instead of seeking out your happiness, instead we should just be still (like a rock), listen, and find peace within ourselves. When we are truly at peace with ourselves and the World, we are more likely to find happiness.

This to me is still the greatest "solo" (quotation marks because, despite the guitar leading, the drums and bass just work perfectly around it showcasing incredible technique, while at the same time, buying space for the guitar to shine even more) ever recorded in Rock n' Roll History!

This is quite simply the greatest rock & roll band ever. Nearly every other band wanted what they had. Each member is consistently rated in the top five performers. Guitarist Jimmy Page in usually in the top three & drummer John Bonham is often rated number one. Whenever asked, vocalist Robert Plant would often say that the listener should make up their own interpretation as to the meaning of Stairway. Check out the live version from their 1973 Madison Square Garden concert. Jimmy Page’s guitar solo is epic.

Think you explained the song quite well.
It's a song I heard a lot on radio / record album as was a teen back then.
Lots of grass/pot/weed / and hash / and chemical drugs back then....and think about 40-45 % of teens young adults were into the culture / free love ...
People on drugs and the " if it feels good do it" times...had those thoughts of "what is truth?"
Some got into eastern yoga guru ...some into occultic...
The music is seducing in this song.
The words /meaning kinda like hidden clues/crossword puzzle...
Thru it all (ya) guess we are on life's paths...
Buying the stairway to heaven ...gives me the idea that $ can buy you a "drug" and once stoned ya feel your on the stairway to heaven ?
    Maybe.
Guess I put up a guard on my mind on this type of rock songs as it kinda feels hypnotic. Ha!
Guess that's why I like Elvis songs as it leaves me in a happy mood.
Mind you in those teen years the Rolling Stones songs were played a lot when drinking 8-9-12 beers.
But never liked sympathy for the devil or paint it black.
    Too demonic for me.
Funny part is back then in all that crazy times had my conversion ( one to one encounter with Jesus ) with God. A prayer from my heart that was in question form....Jesus are You real and the Truth and if You are please show me.
3 things happened right after ...and from that day my maybe or possibly or hope so faith became I know so 1000% Jesus is the way truth and life and not BS. Ha.
When I prayed it was all my heart and humble ....was not crazy or stoned or high on drugs.
All these years later still am a believer in The Lord.
Mind you many pastors churchgoers on and on ...are bad examples...make a person more into unbelievers ...but PTL there are pastors and believers out there who truly love and follow God and are led by the Holy Spirit ..
But the title Stairway to Heaven in it self invokes the question people are searching for what is truth...what is behind this world we are in ...meaning of our existance ...
